This actually is considered a souls-lite game, to my understanding is where the story is presented more and holds your hand a bit on where to go. Cool game so far

Definitely more an action adventure. Seems more similar to something like Shadow of Mordor or The Witcher to me.

This game on hard difficulty is something else. Any enemy can kill you in 2 shots. I have a feeling that will not be a long game so I enjoy the ride!

Glad I didn't buy it on PS5 when I seen it available on xbox game pass. I definitely downloaded it on my xbox series x even tho i'm not into soul like games I heard it's mostly action.
It's like assassin's creed with some souls-like elements.
I was very unsure to get this game or not after seeing the gameplay trailer for this 2 months ago. I felt like it was something that missed. I was very happy Brad wanted to play this and check it out, and to me it looks better and smoother now. I think Flintlock will be a hidden gem game. I like the combat, the traversal and the story is very interesting. And like Brad said, it feels like an souls game but there is something else with it. This is maybe a game i want to play during my summer vacation😁

This game looks way better than I thought it did at first.... The greyness bothers me a bit though, I'd definitely slap a ReShade on it. Definitely gonna get it
hope you make more videos for this game it looks interesting plus not much to play out thier for the moment until the fall. heard it has long campaign like around 40 hours, if you can make videos like 1 hour.... similar to elden ring more content for less videos.

23:23 - "You gotta pay to unlearn" - NOPE. It says you *GAIN* xp for unlearning, not that you spend it. You gain less than you paid (2000 back from an upgrade that costs 2500) but it's a partial refund, not an extra cost to remove the skill.
Also I hope you do keep playing, this one looks like a lot of fun to see a full playthrough for.

Gameplay is sick tbh, I'd watch a full series if you decided to keep playing it! The vibe is cool, the only thing I could see that would be annoying is farming gear and rep points or whatever you'd call it

The voice actor sounds a lot like the voice actor that played Karlach in bg3. I know it’s not but is very similar and at 33:20 when she says souls below it sounds exactly like karlach 😂

Im aware its really early and you prob wont see this but i seen a secret area you passed by in the pilgrims bond caves. You took the left turn and other left after grabbing iron when yiu turned around there was a ledge above that you could hop onto.
