as for the price, in Croatia it is about the same (almost 9000 EUR, all stock parts; add 1000 for exhaust) and our average income isn't even close to the Norway's. however, the insurance and registration fees are low enough and affordable to the most. if they manage to buy it (and the gear) in the first place.
If only 2 cylinders bikes didn't sound awful to me... I'm currently taking A3 license and will probably go with the CB650F next spring. I love the aesthetics of the red-white-blue version and it's the most affordable four cylinders which I seem to like (z800 is way too pricey). I've yet to go to see though, so I may change my mind. I'm just a bit bummed by insurance prices, the cheapest is ~600€ for a 500cc and ~900€ for a 600cc. Will go down with time but it's a 300€ difference plus the difference in gas mileage. The alternative would be the CB500X which I don't dislike but it's probably less funny to ride
Hi, first of all Nice video i really like this bike and i also have a question. Is it legal or is it allowed to ride a bike without db killer(baffle) ? I want to go to norway in the summer so i wanted to ask you if its legal. Thank you for your Answer. Have a Nice day
Legal or not, it s all about the decibelnumber. Here in Norway, the legal limit is 91 decibel. Most of the times when you buy a slipon or similar you get a number with baffler and without in description. When this is said, 9 out of 10 harleys here run with more then enough decibel. Havent heard about anyone beeing stopped but now you now what the law says :)
Jojo Preis well back when this video was made not many companies made slip ons for this bike now you can basically go to any major company it looks like for one but here is a link to the exhuast company he used www.fuelexhausts.com/
About how much did you pay on tax by the time of refinance the bike?, I'm really considering this bike to be my welcome back to motorcycles after 12 years with out any one.
With taxes I mean the VAT of course. In Norway its 24%, always included in the purchase price as long as you dont have your own company. So 9500 euros in included VAT.
Pretty sure you can adjust the height of the bike a little. Saddle and shock/spring? But settings of the rearshock is today only for weight. All I can say it s perfect for us around 5.7. Flat feet sitting on it. Go to the nearest honda dealer and try it out?
+1000000bhp Yupp. It`s almost silly prices, at the same time the second hand price is also very good. Glad that this bike isnt very thirsty or expensive to own :) It´s a keeper ;)
im torn apart over here its 6.190 ant Yamaha mt 07 with abs is 6.650. cant decide. like little more power from mt but loveeeeee looks of cb500. gonna wait till next year to finish my A license than gonna test ride
Nice video. Good review. Fantastic quiet roads. Thanks.

No problem friend. Take care and ride fun, fast and loud ;)
How tall are you? I'm 5' 11" (180cm) and was worried this bike might be a bit small for my legs. Do you have enough leg room?
175, lots of space around knees and legs.
Where did you get the exhaust? Is it a slip on or a full system? Or a better question is what company made it?
never mind found it >~
So, What is it? Im interested in it too!
