    I have seen your Mitochondria DNA and Human Migration Video. Once again an excellent scientific research, graphical illustrations and video presentation. Very informative. Thanks for such a nice channel.

    Most captivating. Love the graphics!
    On the Hominin Overlap map, the dark purple, Sapiens/Heidelbergensis, appears throughout Eurasia before Sapiens appears in Africa? What is "Sapiens/Heidelbergensis"?
    What are the brown dots which appear beginning in India ~210KYA?

    • @geonomad1
      @geonomad1  2 роки тому +2

      Sapiens or Heidelbergensis was marked as such if it was not distinguished. If it is close to Sapiens, Sapiens is displayed first. Dark dots are a mistake. Perhaps you have marked something that is not clearly defined. When I changed the color, one didn't change.

    Is there any video which shows the placement of all the continents and the history of hominims? This video shows the planet as it is now and the migration paths based on the assumption that millions of years ago the continents were as they are situated now.

      @@geonomad1 They might be pertaining to the glacial periods which would have opened and closed land bridges. Apart from climate change the most instrumental reason for our shift out of Africa.

      I think the continents would be in basically in their modern configuration. But there may have been a few iceages and sealevel ups and downs in this time. It'd be great to see a map that illustrates those changes too.

    I have one small question.
    As far I know haplogroup doesn't affect the phenotype of a person but Autosomal DNA,but is there any connection involvement due to Complementary genes like I have seen the regions where J2 haplogroup is there like *Mediterranean area,India,Middle east* they have some common look that are similar like the big Mediterranean eyes, sharp nose.
    For example you see the image of Greek actor *Jason Mantzoukas* , Italian actor *Matteo Bocelli* , Indian actor *Nish Kumar,Suriya* .
    They have some similarities
    I mean l am asking that is a particular haplogroup has also indirect connection or dependent with the particular autosomal DNA which affects the phenotype of a person?

      Jason Mantzoukas would make a great homo erectus if they make a caveman movie.

      Homo erectus dispersion across Europe and Asia from Africa due to their success as a species led to geographical isolation which caused the process of speciation across these pockets of Homo erectus. H. erectus most likely went extinct from a combination of factors such as speciation and competition from othe hominin species.

      H. Sapiens evolved around 300Kish years ago and migrated out of Africa far earlier than 60K years. However, all H. Sapiens (Modern Humans) that are alive today can be traced back to the humans from 60 to 70k years ago that are within and also migrated out of Africa. It appears the earlier H. Sapiens that left, did not survive.

      Man created God In His image. Not the other way around. That's why the Asian gods are Asian, the African gods look African, the native American gods look native American. It is also why the Europeans changed the image of Jesus from
      MidIdle eastern to having blond hair and blue eyes.
