Awesome. Currently building one at my shop I work at. Texas Speed 416 stroker, magnuson SC, 6L80 trans, built rear-end and T-case, and other goodies. Hoping customer takes to track to see what it does when all said and done.
This is a beautiful build man I have learned alot on Hummer H2's and to hit a 12 is some good work ! Looking to watch more videos on this rig and other works right on !!!
We were primarily talking about LS based powerplants, we've heard about some quick diesel swaps, but haven't seen any actually run- Let us see it when you're done!
I got a 2007 hummer h2 sut stock engine and trans I was thinking about going with Duramax conversion kit but after watching this please contact me and give me some options to build mine crazy like that please
I live in San Antonio Texas, and I’ve always wanted a Hummer H2! I have been doing a lot of research and if I’m not mistaken the 2008 and up are the best ones out here? Am I correct there the ones that started with the 6.2 Liter and 6 speed transmission? And if y’all don’t think it’s that much of a difference please let me know so my purchase of one can be a lot sooner then later!! Thanks a lot for yalls time!!
I believe all the 2008+ (Hummers and Trucks) get the better/updated ECU/PCM, which for something like this is most important for tuning! But yes 6.2L and the 6L trans is definitely a better starting point for sure!
@@StrictlyPerformanceMotorsports Thanks, but if I don’t want to do all that extras just keep it stock but I do want to put after market exhaust and air filter... does the 6.0 Liter and 4 speed trans ok to go with or is it that much of a difference to where the 6.2 Liter 6 speed is the route to take?
So much of this was one-off... You'd need to contact the shop directly for that info- I don't have a price sheet or info on that. I'd imagine at least around 40k, if not more?
@@StrictlyPerformanceMotorsports I'm just curious. So badass. If I wasn't so deep financially on my RWD Audi A3 build this would definitely be something I would of looked into.
I have a 2003 Hummer H2. May i know how much it costed for total conversion? and is it possible to use Hemi 6.2-liter Supercharged instead of Magnuson 2650. Will wait for ur reply.. Thanks
I (media) don't have specific pricing for this one, a lot of custom/one-off jobs on this one. As far as the 6.2 Hemi (if you're referring to the Hellcat Engine), we do not provide tuning support for Chrysler/Mopar engine platforms, so not through us. And last time I checked our tuner has only been taking on the 2008+ models, except for case by case basis- If you're interested in ballpark figures or more info, send us an email at : Sales@StrictlyPerformance.Parts
I (media guy) don't have the figures in front of me, but virtually everything on this was custom, one-off, and was kind of an evolutionary build so it kind of snowballed. So, I'd imagine it's probably toward the north side of that figure. Lot of man-hours in this, and all premium parts.
If you need an engine: www.strictlyperformance.parts/ls-long-blocks As far as our service and tuning departments, we've only been taking on the 2008+ models. Sales@StrictlyPerformance.Parts
Maybe not exactly like this one, but get a hold of our service manager- he's going to be the one to make that call! Definitely not going to want to do the earlier H2 models, have to do the 2008 or 2009 models with the 6.2L and Gen.IV PCM for tuning support. We are NOT currently taking on any big projects on anything with Gen 3 PCMs (older than 2008 generally). But yah it would be pretty killer/imposing overlander! Sales@StrictlyPerformance.Parts
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, the likelihood of us doing another pre-2008 H2, with our current workload, is probably slim to none. The last update I got from our service department was that we're only taking the Gen. IV PCM (Generally 2008/2009 and newer for most models) platforms as far as LS based stuff goes. Gen3 ECU on this one was partially a limiting factor for us; we specialize in the Gen. IV LS, and Gen. V LT platforms and are sticking with that, especially due to our current workload. That being said, if you'd like to put in an actual inquiry with the shop you're more than welcome to, but no pre-2008/2009 platforms (except some Corvettes) was my last update. Sales@StrictlyPerformance.Parts
I am not a very good welder by any means, but the intake pipe welds kind of look like buggar welds. Usually when something is made one off like that, you find perfect tig welds, but not on this one. Not the end of the world, but kind of takes away from the look of it all. Just nit picking, but otherwise the build looks pretty cool.
Absolutely my dream SUV
Nice build! I have a 2005 Hummer H2 and you’ve given me some great ideas!
It must be quite a feeling going that fast in something that big... Hell yeah
Damnnnnn...y’all never fail me with these builds!
Wow. Those numbers (817/735) match my 2014 ZL1 m6 Dyno numbers. Getting ready to drop a N/A 408 in my 04 Hummer H2. Nice rig and set up💪🏾🤘🏾

I’m in the process of a Duramax swap on my 03 H2 built motor tuned to 800hp. I still need the wiring for the transfer case and dash to complete.

How much the swap? Duramax engine and allison transimision?
@@raedavilcevivisa6834 I had bought the truck for $8000 Drove it for 2yrs Them took it apart for the swap. Found the hummer in Georgia for $6000
Love the engine upgrade.
What a great build 💪🏻
What was the cost of the mods?
I absolutely Love this thing!!
I have no clue what this guy is saying-just love the truck
Planning on buying an h2 soon how much would it cost to do this build or to pay you all to do this build you all did amazing
Will keep mine and just do up the engine .it’s my baby .
Absolutely amazing how much work went into this H2. Wasn't this the same red "firebreathing" h2 that you guys customized a while back?
Thanks for the kind words! And yes, this is that same red one we did a while back- it's kind of a (seemingly) never ending build!

What are those headlights called & where can I find them?? . . . Or are those just decals on top of the head lights?
HUMMER AASIF LIKED THIS VIDEO💪
That’s a sick truck. Is it faster than the one they did at Kindig It episode?
What overflow tank for the antifreeze was used?
horsepower and engine aside... is anything done to the transfercase and front differential ?
That you could trust

Several H2’s with tuned Duromax’s pushing 2000 lb/ft torque. I’m sure they are much quicker than this gasser!
Is it really needed tho, besides it sounds better then Diesel.
Is this cheaper than swapping a duramax engine?
Couldn't tell you accurately, we don't diesel stuff to reference and I (media guy) don't have the build out price on this one.
No
@@michaelholder6905 damn? Swapping to a Duramax cost 50-60k according to predator Inc. I’d rather do a Duramax swap.
I can only imagine how much this cost.
Like $1,000 😊

Dare I ask what this build cost? I'm gonna say well into the 30K+ range and that is low balling. My heart says closer to 50K
