As always David Swenson is full of practical and useful tips on how to fit yoga into your daily life.
definitely yes!
Thank God for the short forms!
It makes so much sense everything David says about how to practice at home and in a mysore class. Thank you Adam for making this happen, listening to David experience and wisdom is a blessing!
Indeed, David always makes a lot of sense, whilst still managing to maintain a relationship to the traditionalist perspective. 🙏
Really enjoyed this talk. Ashtanga has served me well, but life does get in the way. As someone who 'messes around' with my practice, I shall think more positively about what I am doing (and not doing). I look forward to the workshop. Thank you Adam and David.
Yes, I think David explains the benefit of both and how to kind of keep a middle ground. Looking forward to the workshop too!
Lovely. Two wise men 😊. Could use a few more of those in the world at the moment.
Thanks for your feedback!
🙏🏻💜💜
Thanks Hassan!
Thank you Adam for having David Swenson, again - this was priceless 🙏
Thank you so much, David is a living legend, he got the point ot practicing yoga
Yes he is a legend for sure and an inspiration. It's great to share this wisdom with the newer students.
this is so wonderful!
Great! Glad you liked it. Thanks for listening. 🙏
Brilliant interview Adam, David is living proof; the 8 medicines work when taken together!🙏🏽🌝
He certainly is! Glad you enjoyed it.
very inspiring, it would be great, if david wanted to upload his old videos - when he was doing the standing postures after setu bandhasana, it would be useful to see how the serries have evolved, to understand the context
It answered all my questions❤ thank you adam for this. Nothing beats experience that gives wisdom.
Great to hear! 🙏😊
Without David’s short form videos, I would never started practicing Ashtanga, as most of the asanas were impossible to me. However, by following David’s videos, little by little, from the shortest ones to the shorter one, I became comfortable with the asanas and became confident with myself. Now I can go through the primary series without skipping any vinyasa. Without David, this would still remain as a mission impossible. 😄
I think David has influenced possibly the most students of Ashtanga when you consider how early he started, we also used his manuals and videos at the start before the advent of social media.
Really looking forward to the workshop, Much love to you both and thank you :)
Same here! Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
11:01 -- aww why did you interrupt his train of thought!?
