    I love this. I have lots of strips that are 3 3/4 by 10 inches from the boxes I make for my niece. I love the white and simple stamp idea.
    Thanks for sharing!!!

      Hi Linda - That shade of green has been a fave of mine since I was a kid. Not too keen on the kelly green part of the family, but I am learning to do better color combination with the color cubes I got recently. So there's hope for Kelly too!

      Thanks Betty - I had a mani-pedi treat that week and met some of the local salon girls here in Blairsville. They are wonderful and I will be going back! That stamp set is one of my favorites for sure. It never disappoints.

    You are so talented Susie. Appreciated the tip about using a very small almost dry brush. Thank you for taking the time to put out a video when I know you must still be upside down!

      LOL Sheila - Upside down and sideways some days I'm afraid. I have just accepted that until the farm sells and we get the new house built, I am just going to be without supplies. That includes baking pans, office files and all kinds of other parts to life. But I still know where the TP is LOL!!!

    Hey there Julia, these cards are simply beautiful, and something that everyone can do with limited card making supplies. I remember when I first started making cards way back in the late 1980's - early 90's all I had was a few stamps, pigment ink pads and embossing powder. Initially all I did was stamp directly onto the card base. Layers came a little later after playing around with some basic-coloured cardstock I had at the time. It is sometimes nice to get back to basics and whip up a few cards.
    I could see the cute little bird card with a free hand boarder and some of those fabulous little random squiggles like a zigzag thingies...!
    It was a shame that the memento ink didn't show up in the stamping of the flower as I think that would have been stunning as you would have got more of the fine detail from the centre of the flower. I am just wondering what you could have used to achieve the result you hoped for. What about a saturated ink dauber, and then stamp immediately.
    Julia, you are a smart woman using a splatter box when splattering paint... I do not, and often get paint where I don't want it. I have even had to clean up paint splatters that I found on the wall underneath my window. I have plenty of smallish boxes out in the garage. I should bring one into my craft studio to use for just that... it would save on having to clean up everything!!!
    God's blessings, love and hugs. Gloria 🥰🌻❤

    • @SeniorSusieStamps
      @SeniorSusieStamps  4 місяці тому

      Hi Gloria - Those little blending brushes have a really tight brush tip, and I think they just didn't pick up enough ink. A foam dauber would have been the thing to use, if I could find it LOL. That spatter box could be a little taller on the sides for sure. But I was trying to show the splatter technique, and not get too close to the camera. Oh well...Have a Blessed week my friend! Love & Hugs, Julia
