    Good afternoon TBO.
Currently in the market for a gtr/con 14(gen1/2) or S10 (gen1/2). Leaning more towards the GTR/Con as tis near half the price.
I noticed you have the bike over 6 years now. Do you intend to do a video of ownership? Pros&Cons of both even..
    Thanks for sharing your content..
    Darren

Hi Darren, Unfortunately I sold the bike in early 2022. I just hadn't ridden it much with Covid as I was working from home. I put 40k miles on the bike in 5 years. It never missed a beat. I had the major services done by a local dealer and I did the minor services myself. I would highly recommend the bike. It was great fun to ride even on horrific commutes in LA. If you get a well maintained one, I don't think you would be disappointed.

Nice vid! I have the same bike and have a question about the handlebars. Are they original of after market. Your hand position is way different then mine.
    Ride safe👍🏻

Hi Sean, I'm not sure on the bars. They are the ones that it came with from the previous owner, it may have bar risers fitted now that I've looked at it.

Do you recommend the training? How was the super tenere?

Hi Tim, the training was good, I don't know what your experience is off-road but they do start from scratch. If you're sleeping in the bunkhouse, don't expect any luxury. It's basic but functional. One guy ended up sleeping in his car. I brought earplugs.
It was pushing 100F when I was there so it was a long couple of days but good fun. The instructors are patient and make it fun. If you go, wear bug spray. a LOT of it. and never go out in anything other than long sleeves and long pants. I got my arms bitten to hell.
The food is amazing, really really good, they have a professional chef and it shows, very good meals. People had flown in from all over the US, Jamaica and even a young lady from England came over just for the training.
The Super Tenere handled great. It's a big heavy bike but they instill confidence in you. The only downside I found on the Tenere was that you cannot turn off the ABS. In some maneuvers this caused me some issues. As soon as I got home I did the mod to make the ABS switchable, video coming soon.
