    all beautiful options, I'm definitely gonna have to get some plants to put in certain areas of the yard because it's so bland and dead looking...

    Love the Spiderwort suggestion. I have a 100' long strip of crepe myrtles that shade out everything. I'm thinking Virginia Spiderwort would be good. Now it's just a matter of finding them for sale!

      That's always the hard part, we know the plants we want but it's so hard to find them!! That's what inspired us to start the native plant nursery up here in Northern Michigan, give our locals the chance to find the native plants they love.
