INCREDIBLE 32+ ROLLS! - Live Craps Game #49 - Peppermill Casino, Wendover, NV - Inside the Casino

  • This real Craps game at the Peppermill Casino in Wendover is a great example of what it's like to gamble during this pandemic. The casino seemed to be following the Nevada Gaming Commission's safety guidelines for reopening just fine. Here's what we observed:
At the Craps table, there are stickers on the arm rests where each player is to stand, for a total of 6 players (3 per side). There were no plexiglass dividers between players. Dice were sanitized and alternated between each player, which kinda slowed the game down. When I got the dice, they were still wet, causing them to stick together for my first couple throws (a good thing for you dice setters). They only had TWO dealers at the table. There was no stick man or box man. The chips seemed MUCH cleaner, which was nice. ALL the casino staff were wearing masks, but less than 10% of the patrons were wearing masks (I wore my mask the entire time). ALL the staff throughout the casino were friendly and seemed very happy to be back at work.
In the rest of the casino, safety protocols were like all other casinos in Nevada; your temperature was scanned upon entry, every other slot machine was off and the chair removed, plexiglass dividers between the dealer and player at blackjack and poker games (no divider between players), a maximum of 3 players per table game, no smoking at the table games, hand sanitizing stations throughout the casino floor, employees were sanitizing slots and tables every so often but not as you left the game, social distancing seemed to be being followed well.
The casino wasn't very busy AT ALL. Of course, that could be because it was a weekday in the early evening in a small border town casino.
As for what happened during this Craps session, the first player in the video was already rolling and had established a point by the time I started recording. He went on to roll 32 times in the video. So, he rolled more than that! He and the person next to me weren't pressing AT ALL. They could have really raked it in. I, on the other hand, started pressing my Place bets as soon as I had my original $100 back. I was also pressing my Pass Line bet by $5 with every point won, which helped me build up my bankroll really nicely.
Once the first player 7'd-out, the second player rolled just 11 times. He seemed to be pressing his bets pretty well during the entire video.
When it came to my turn, I received wet dice, thanks to the sanitizer they had sprayed and not wiped off. For those who practice Dice Control and Dice Setting, this is a good thing because it caused the dice to stick together for the first couple rolls, which is a goal of every REAL dice setter out there.
During my turn I rolled 21 times and hit a few points. I pressed my Place bets frequently and increased my Pass Line bet with every point I won. Eventually, my bankroll swelled to over $350! I eventually colored up at $318 after the next player rolled only 3 times. Felt that it was a good time to get out.
It should be noted that I was tipping the dealers more frequently than I do. I even made some 2-way hard-ways bets, which hit a few times. The dealers were thankful for that, as nobody else was doing it.
In all, it was a GREAT Craps session, and a EXCELLENT casino trip. If you are ever in Wendover, stop by one of the 5 casinos in town. You'll be surprised at how nice most of them are and how much fun you'll have.
See you next time Inside the Casino!

I was out there early this week, and the dealer earned nice tip for letting me know that while they don't allow dice setting in Wendover, if you ask nicely, the stickman will slide you a preferred number.

@@InsidetheCasino A small suggestion... Some of us use these videos for analysis reasons, and it would be nice if you were to record an average game of at least 30:00 minutes, regardless of the outcome win or lose. I've been to Shreveport, La and Durant, Okla since they reopened. In Shreveport, the day I went, which was 3 weeks ago, Margaritaville was $25 minimum. The Horseshoe was $15 minimum. I watched more than I played. In Okla, at the Choctaw, it was $10 minimum, which is more tolerable for me. It was like you described, 3 players per side. I was stickman right #2. We did have a Stickman and regular dealers, and a boxman. I started with $200 and walked away with $700. I hit the all small and tall, with $2 - $1 - $2, they payed 30-1 and 150-1.

I went to Rainbow Casino yesterday right when the craps table was opening. Plexiglass between the stick man at stick r and stick l. Also glass between the dealer and end players. Only one side was open, probably because it was too slow. My first comeout roll I set all-seven and won the passline...took the winnings and placed it as a dealer bet. The rest of the time there the stickmen slid me the dice in a v-3. The dealers wiped everything but the chips and dice were still damp. It was kinda' hard to throw the dice that way but when I realized the wet was making them stick I was ecstatic!. Had a great few rolls. But then my luck changed, went PSO three times and colored up. I came out ahead, but only by $75. It was fun, the dealers are great, nice conversation....good trip.

Ty for having this video available. I loved my years of dealing dice. I'm also really nitpicky when watching other dealers... shocker, I know. My only critique, and I would be the same way if it was that slow of a game, buy the base dealer is being very lazy. Slapping chips around and tossing the field payout and using his off hand when grabbing and organizing his working stacks.. etc... but like I said. I'd be the same way, so what an I even critiquing lol. Like I said, ty, I love this stuff!:)

Wednesday night had a great table going at CP. Pretty much everyone was rolling great and I hit the ATS

Just to add to the tables report. Mississippi is open with three a side as well. Action has been good but tough to get on in Hancock county. Haven't made it to further east yet. Table mins started at 15 for the Silver Slipper and stayed pretty constant at 15. The Hollywood however went from a min 10 to being a minimum 20 even during the week. Pretty disappointing for those with much smaller bank rolls. Even at min 20 the table has usually had a wait of 20 to 60 mins with both having a wait time of 2hrs plus. The new normal in Mississippi hasnt been much fun. I plan to keep grinding them out and have a little fun from time to time. Also, I pray to find a random roller that throws 4s and 10s like that guy did. Insane. Color me up some sunflowers. Haha

Thanks again for a great video. They said the shooter could not set the dice? Then the video guy/you said "... he is not a dice setter ..." LOL. Very good observation video guy. Most people do not know how to throw at a Craps table. Everyone I have seen throw: pick up dice - shake - throw. Then the dice setters: Set some dice: pick up dice - shake - throw. If you know how to "THROW" dice - "SET" dice - no one will have enough time to tell you or know you did it. The best shooters only take one second to SET and THROW the dice. If you play for money - play like it is your job. You think Michael Jordan one day picked up a basketball and got $50 million? Be like a PRO - Do Not Let it Show - in a Casino.

On that first roll of 28 or so throws, guys left a ton of money on the table- and I don't understand the $25 pass line bet on the final roll- bet $10 max and load up on the odds- that's where you make the money. And nothing on 4 and 10, yet those numbers came up consistently. You have to attack the craps table- if you lose it quickly, so be it, but if numbers come up in a long roll, you win handsomely.
