- In this live craps game, we're at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The table was nice and full with some good betting going on.
We get to see four different players take their turn with the dice. Two of them have multiple come out wins before they establish the point. Pretty cool!
Watch for the big color-ups at the far end of the table after the first shooter 7s out.

As soon as the field bettor placed the nine I just felt the 7 was gonna happen.
Loved playing in the old days with someone sitting box. Made the game feel more legit. Craps felt at The Mirage used to be much more inviting. Had their palm tree logos and bright colors. Made you want to stay and play for hours. Was there a few months ago and granted, they're in the midst of an ownership change, but the craps tables looked drab, dealers had no energy and no personality. Hopefully the new ownership can breathe some life into it.
Base dealer was on point.. but the stick man killed me with the one hand crutch. Both hands brotha. Lol

Dealer Bets are the best bets. That was awesome. I saw many good things.
For years and years, we were told that tossing cheques to customers wasn’t allowed - No exceptions, and the reasons, it looks sloppy, lazy and unprofessional and can be confusing for the customers etc etc. Even if it’s one dollar. If it’s one dollar or one hundred dollars, don’t throw or toss cheques. Respectfully.

Ahh man!!! Great video as always. Vegas trip in 3 weeks. I won’t play that table for sure. Won’t be able to keep dice on table due to the spring on that darn table!!! Just played Craps yesterday at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe for my first time & won $140. I kept rolling the same number 3 times and from the condition of my left eardrum right now.. I'm guessing I made the person next to me rich lol.

I had a similar experience one time with a young drunk guy next to me. I kept rolling field numbers, and he kept winning. He even tipped me about $10-$25 during the course of the game. When I decided to quit playing after my turn, he wanted to pay me to stay and play because I was winning him so much. LOL!

That's one of the bounciest tables I've seen! Way too much!
And the dealer was indeed a very good one, rare to see an ambidextrous one around!

Wynn changed their tables and it's even worse as far as bounce. Fitzgeralds back in the early 2000s had the most ridiculous bounce I've ever seen. 80% of the throes sent both dice over the rails. When I shot, I did a higher arc , medium backspin and dropped them from stick left one to the dont pass inner line and the dice hopped straight up and bounced three times in place. I promptly pulled my bets and odds and left once I crapped out 2 rolls later. It was rediculous.
That female dealer right of stick must be filling in for someone. She deals like the $100+ min table dealers. I'm impressed and that takes a lot considering 18 years of playing craps at higher end strip casinos three times+ a year , 12-14 day trips averaging 12 hours a day at the craps tables. Mirage is lower mid tier for casinos IMHO but perhaps they treat their craps dealers better than some of the higher end casinos? Nice video, thank you for the upload!

Dice dealer here. Thanks for posting this. I always wonder if people recognize or appreciate a dealer who can deal well, or one who has a personality. Does it matter, do you notice, would that affect how much you tip?
As a dice dealer, croupier and pit manager I saw some terrible dealing.
I deal craps too. I’ve only been a dealer for a year, but I was taught to never throw the puck, slam or throw chips at guest. She pretty fast, but taking $10 out of the field and capping it with $4 on top looks awful.
I am in awe of the performance of great dealers. Add in a unique personality and a sharp sense of humor and I'll play all night.
This table is a don't player's wet dream. (Except for the sevens on the come-out rolls.)
When a table is this cold I'll play the "no's".....no 4, no 10, etc. It only costs 2% and you avoid the come-out 7 losers for the don'ts. For the "no's" a come-out 7 is a winner.

The hop 7 and eleven twelve for $1 each is a good insurance bet if you are playing the don't pass on a $10 table. The 7's and 11's will pay $11 and the 12 which is a push on the don't pass wins $26.
I am pretty sure the vig on a Lay bet is 5%.

@@reggiedunlop5167 if you are anti gambling then yes, I would agree. It’s dumb for dice because the come out roll does not effect place bets so you can’t root for the 7 on the roll. It kills the momentum.
@@reggiedunlop5167 if your place bets are “ON” for the come out roll you win your pass line bet but lose all your place bets. It’s dumb to have place bets on for the come out roll. Can’t go on a big winning streak that way.

Can someone explain to me why the player at the other end of the table was placing all those numbers and having them work on the come out rolls. They lost tons of money during all of those 7's on the come out?

I could never get my head around laying both the 4 and 10 at the same time. Chances are you will get hit on one of them, guaranteed.

Why do people sometime put the same bet behind their pass line bet?
They are placing odds there. It's like a Place Bet for the point that's been established. When placing odds behind your Pass Line bet, it knocks the house edge down to nearly zero! Smart and/or aggressive players will typically put max odds behind their Pass Line bets. If the point hits, the payout is really nice!
Those are my kind of tables that I see nobody wins at all

These effin places are ripping off customers and the casual visitor to beat the band in every aspect of wagering including sports books. Not to mention what the entire dump of Vegas does to tourists, with all their fees and hidden charges. they have some nerve. They can kiss my ass at all the $10 min tables.

look at this guy keep playing the field and he's gone then the $10 on the pass line guy when the point is 6 with no odds bet. These guys don't know what they are doing at all.
Does the dealer miss paying out a place bet on the 5 at 1:25?
No she does not. The player with the 5 Place bet also had a field bet. So, he lost the field, but won the place, which she paid with his losing field plus a couple $1 chips.

You are correct. Usually $1 is white. But some casinos opt for blue or light blue.

Not a one made a single point. This is reality TV that is truly the reality and that is Craps may be fun and it’s addicting (which ain’t bad if you can afford it) But for most of us, -SADLY- it is a losing proposition. Seven Out......

I’m new to craps but I understand the game pretty well but I do want to ask about the positioning of the bets ? I know if it’s under the number that’s a place bet ... in the box is come bet and on top of number means don’t come ? I see the dealer putting some bets on the top of the numbers on the small line is that just a place bet too ?
YES. There is usually little tick marks on those lines which indicate the position of the player who's bet that is. Sometimes they are in the hard-ways boxes and such.

Any bet that is on the double lines on top or bottom of a number is a Place bet.

I dont get how people that throws out random dice all the time instead of setting the dice right and throw it soft can play craps. just giving money to the casino. When i see people throw like that, its time for the dark side.
I agree. However, I've seen some random shooters have some long rolls. But those are more rare than well-trained dice setters having long rolls.
I gave up craps and gambling all together. The highs and lows just aren't worth it! Want to gamble at a casino, go to the Keno room and bet $1 a game. You drink free and money lasts a lot longer!
