Bungie has the most contrived writing ever. As bad as marvel. Oooo witness reshaping earth? Nah, just kidding. The witness can kill entire squadrons with a literal motion of its hand, ghosts included, but nah it forgot it could do that. I also love how everyone can run away from the witness when it goes into full pissed off smoke and reality warping and one dies. How convenient. I guess it can't put a barrier on the door so they can't run away. Like is the only mechanic bungie uses anymore. The helm magically is able to enter even though "witness barred off the portal" after we got in. If I wrote this there would be no contrived bullshit. You don't literlly run away from a being of pure darkness, can teleport, shift realities, etc. Only happens if you have plot armor and villian gets a lobotomy. The entire vanguard in one area? If I was the witness, the entire area would be remade in a moment. No doors. No running. A wave of its hand and the ground breaks apart into the different material cubes, it moves its hands apart and each cube becomes a thousand miles apart. Each vanguard isolated, in complete darkness. The darkness envelops them, penetrating every single atom of their being. Icora and Zavalla scream out in unimaginable agony. It squeezes tighter and tighter, the screams echo out like Shockwaves. Blood and darkness seep from their eyes, their ears, their fingertips. "You desire a universe made from pain. Then live in it!" With a clap of its hands, they're gone. It turns its gaze back to the helm. Our guardians helmet broken on the ground, we stare back. Quite literally made that up on the spot in about 1min. Give me months to years to plan out the story and really get into the characters ideologies and shit and I could give you some truly compelling stories. I enjoy grey areas. Good vs evil is boring. Nuance is fun. And that's what destiny lacks. Nuance and depth, and a serious tone. Ghost also is nieve beyond belief. We've killed how many gods and it still acts like a 4yr old child juat learning about the world. Pretty pathetic. Truly the writers at bungie are terrible.
@@DarkDisc1 considering I've written 4 novels and 12 short stories, I'd say differently. You clearly don't know how to write or know what good writing looks like. I assume you thought the last jedi and got (s5-8) was good writing? It's like people these days lick lead.
