Another lovely track off the new CD and nice to hear it stripped down. FYI, that's not Chris Thile with her in the video--that's John Leventhal on guitar. No doubt just a mix up on the posting, but worth pointing out. Speaking of Sarah and John together, check out the video of them doing Orange and Blue (also on the new CD)--just John on guitar and Sarah on vocal with Sarah joining in at the end on what I believe is a mandocello--mandolin string configuration with 4 pairs of strings, but in a tenor-guitar sized, arch-top body. It's a stunningly beautiful song and the treatment with mostly just guitar/vocal is wonderful. John does some gorgeous finger-style guitar in an open tuning--it's otherworldly. The studio version of that song starts primarily with piano/vocal and it's also a stunner. And while you're all listening, buy her new CD or the digital downloads and spread the word about this great new music! Artists should get paid for creating such beauty for the world. Just sayin'.
