So, Jung Dongha is on a par with Park Hyoshin and Naul. Jung Dongha is a really great vocalist, but Park Hyoshin is more recognized in Korea. However, I think their overall vocal techniques do not make much difference.
Jung Dongha is actually Great to Excellent Vocalist. What keeping him to become excellent is his mix, if he can support up to C5 then he is in Excellent.

He really is one of the best male vocalists ever and in close competition for the best alive yet he gets so overlooked!! What a powerhouse! Best male head voice in Korea and best belts right behind Naul and Hyoshin!
@@idontshutupaboutmusic While I prefer Hyoshin for his songs and emotion, I do think Dongha is a bit better technically. As Liyo said, Dongha has better lows and head voice. However, Hyoshin isn't that far behind in these areas and he has the slightly better mix (even if his compressive and raspy stylistic choices can sometimes limit resonance or support). Hyoshin is also significantly more agile. It's definitely VERY close, and they're the two best male vocalists in Korea no doubt, but I'd give an edge to Dongha. It's my understanding that Hyoshin is actually quite popular in Korea, although he and with Dongha are definitely overshadowed internationally by KPOP singers and even Sohyang, who's quite possibly the most well known non-KPOP Korean singer outside Korea.
What about his lower register? i think it's also the best even though Exo Chen has an equal supported lower reg as him. Maybe Dongha is slightly better i think?
@@cosmicrailway7066 Not sure how Dongha’s lows compare to others honestly, but his definitely are very good for a tenor. That being said, I’m sure there’s Korean baritones and basses that outshine him in that area.

He can probably support B4 or even C5 consistently if he wants to. He would have to temporarily abandon his stylistic rock approach on his belts to do that i guess.
I love me some dongha belt and some head voice moments and he's definitely one of the most developed head voice users but just to clarify something quite important that A5 was a one time thing he's never consistent and tend to be even more stylistic on placement (masky and even throaty )on G5s and sometimes even lower ,park Hyoshin is by far way more consistent he's also fuller so even if he doesn't have his younger years stamina overall park hyoshin is thi roundest tenor

Skyler Powers indeed! I do wonder sometimes who is technically better between Park HyoShin and Jung DongHa! Both are so good, yet so overshadowed :/
