I hate 120hz movies. Like fast forward. I love watching at 60hz better. Less eyes restraint and natural movement. But as for gaming people, 120hz is way better because it respond faster and better.
Just bought the 55” Samsung QN700 8K 60Hz and its a veeery minimun decrease in the response compared to my 1080p 60hz old Samsung i had before. Bur the picture is crazy good

When I watch sports on cable channels or movies on streaming services, I cannot see a noticeable difference between my TV's when it comes to motion clarity or the picture quality. Most games are 60fps anyway. So a PS5 will be fine.

Depends on what your using it for, movies aren’t really much of a difference but for gaming 120 would be better/smoother.
