As a guitar player for 55 years, I’ve tried 432 at different times but with different instruments it’s hard for everyone to get used to it, but to me I hear harmony’s sound richer in 432 and more natural.
I agree
I agree, it sounds fuller, warmer.
it sounds warmer because its lower. hard to tell because we are Tuned to 440, but, harmonics of the earth or lala are the SAME as the harmonic series relative to ANY pitch. so, ill stick with the brighter, and mix warmer.
i say this after producing a song for my daughter in 432.
I love singing, but don't know how to sing 432. Do you have a formula like sing in Dm or sth like that?
well said, my story is similar to yours
I recommend trying this again but keeping it a blind test. In other words you will play the two songs without revealing which frequency it is, a and b. The viewer can take note of what they thought then after you play your sample reveal which one it is. You could do a series of these mixing them up. a blind test is better bc it eliminates some of the bias.
Coming from a science perspective, I admire your enthusiasm. However, you have to understand that we are talking about the challenges of picking up the differences in one frequency (note) (A) of only a few secs, when multiple frequencies (notes) are present simultaneously and overlayed as chords run. As Paul said in his presentation, registering the differences between the two tunings ? With human ears ? You ( may ) rarely pick up some slightly brighter spots but that’s rare. In my opinion, you would not tell the difference. Comes down to musicology academia. Now known as ,standard concert tuning but the ears wouldn’t pick it. Sorry.
Anyone with any kind of musical ear will be able to tell which is pitched down
Its not just about the ears but instead the resonance with the entire body, and even beyond the body @@colindeer9657
being blindfolded doesn't do anything, you can recognize the lower pitch version instantly
@@xpltflronly people with substantial musical training or perhaps someone with perfect pitch is going to be able to hear the difference. I can now but I wouldn't have before learning to sing.

Objectively the difference is nominal but I swear I felt the 432 version resonate within me. Thank you for such a great comparison video.
That’s probably because people with prefect pitch usually hear 432. It is theorized that most people are conceived with perfect pitch however the English language is so non tonal that perfect pitch is destroyed in the womb. However, when we hear notes in 432 it still resonates within us.
Did it, or was that just the power of suggestion? Personally, I'm skeptical.
At first they both sounded alike, but the way I felt was way calmer at 432hz. That was so strange.
Lets try other meme numbers! What about 420? or 414(multiple of 69), and whatever to make one of the notes 666
@@somedud1140 oooo… 666…
That was fascinating! Thank you for swapping which one went first too! I definitely prefer the 432 - it felt like there were more subtle harmonics going on as well as feeling warmer and made me less tense, whereas the 440 felt flatter and weirdly metallic - amazing playing!!!
YES when 440 came on i felt tense on the inside, but with 432 that went away and felt warm.
@@Gingy1120 here to say that I felt the same way. Tense with 440 and warmer or relaxed at 432. As I am typing this comment I was listening to the video and lost track of which tuning was which, then I decided to listen to how I felt on the inside while he was playing then I could pick up the 432, went back up and yes he was playing the 432 version.

Just came across this video. And as a music engineer, this is actually, and sadly to admit, my first time ever listening to these two side by side. At least on my ear bud headphones, there was definitely a dissonance within the low-mid frequencies of the 440; that did not exist in the 432. The 432 seemed completely consonant, as though every note and frequency gelled together. Listening to the 440 by itself, my ear would not have picked it up. But side by side definitely. You say it doesn't matter the frequency, but it's how you play. I now disagree. Each song you played sounded better in the 432. I'd like to start trying my own tracks in 432. Thanks so much for the video!!
8hz lower adds tangible soul
Me too. It will be interesting to see/hear the results. 😊
That makes no sense, unless the guitar was tuned better lol. The relationship between notes should be exactly the same if both are tuned correctly, whatever the tuning
432🎉
Thank you for the comment. I know nothing about music, so I thought I was imagining the differences. It is nice to see that someone with a music background agrees!
From the 59 year old lifetime musician, vocalist and public school music teacher - Each frequency has it's own power, feeling, ability, and some would say color - the 440Hz was definately brighter, stronger, more tense; the 432 warmer, more relaxed, loving. Both can serve an emotional message. As a song writer, I find the musical key (frequency) of a song incredibly important to the feeling and message of the song, as important as the words, chords, and arrangement. The room you are in can also play a factor. The frequencies should respond in the manner you want with the materials in the room - wood, metal, etc.
Great video, great comments here. Thank you Paul!!
Yes! Music is a method of communicating, be it a story or an emotion. Key and mode are tools to convey what you want the listener to feel. The two tunings could be suitable for different styles of music. I don't think I would play a Speed Metal song in 432.
I am a musician. I listened carefully as songs were played in both frequencies. The only way I can describe what I felt was the difference is that 432 Hz feels more ‘authentic’ and possibly a bit ‘warmer’ to my ear, and the 440 Hz has an oddly ‘flat surface’ type of sound which feels ‘colder’ and definitely more ‘mechanical’. This is the best I can do. Which do I prefer? Definitely the 432 Hz. Even when a single note is played the 440 feels metallic and machine-like. Please be aware that the impressions I had were EXTREMELY subtle.
440 for soulless minds and 432 for souls
Same. Def subtle. But the peace for lack of a better word was there.
I’m not a musician, but have musicians in my family and I LOVE MUSIC. Everything you said I agree with… 432 Hz sounds way warm and authentic vs the 440 Hz
I am not a musician but even I can clearly hear the difference between the 432 and the 440. But to be fair, I do listen to a lot of instrumental music.
I felt the same way! :)

You're right👍
You could have same feeling with 420 vs 432, when it's lower it's deeper, that's all. You can be tuned in 432 but never play a A and never hearing a 432, so it's not a question of magic frequency.
You're only hearing 432 when he plays the A above middle C... The rest of the frequencies are all over the place. 432 specifically isn't doing anything special

Great Video Paul, from just listening to the example pieces you played I noticed a distinct difference between the two tuning standards and of the two, those completed to the 432 Hz tuning frequency sounded noticeably more natural and 'correct' to my admittedly untrained ear . . .
It certainly does seem though as if there could be a point to the overall debate over the gradual gravitation towards A 440 Hz as a universally adopted tuning standard . . . it seems like a compromise moving things to a round number either for the sake of simplifying matters or possibly to suit some other more specific aim possibly related to broadcast parameters.
Thanks for the great content btw, keep it up! 😃👊💯💯

Anyone could feel something flowing and glowing in your chest with 432 music? Not an obvious difference from this comparison video, as it takes some time before you enter a flow state to really vibe with it. It's a brand new feeling like it never existed before. I made a 432 filter on my music app to test the effect. But after I added the filter for a week, I just couldn't get the vibe. Then I double checked and it turned out I forgot to activate the filter. That's when I knew it wasn't a psychological suggestion. I could felt the difference! Try listening to some classic piece with 432 for a while before drawing any conclusion.
You know how I can ?
432 I'm in my heart. 440 I'm in my head. That says it all for me.
Pamela Aubrey Exactly 😊
Pamela Aubrey, I was going to say the same thing but figured I would read comments 1st. Thumbs up.
You said it exactly. That's it!
what about 424
440 Stay out of your heart and in your mind corrupted with values of this world. Fear, panic, confusion, anger, sadness, hopelessness is all "they" want you to feel. Makes for better slaves that way. Ones that end up loving their enslavement and willingly enslave others into the borg as a way to virtue signal that they really aren't the cowards they really are. Sell out and ride the beast for a time and a season.
432 seems fuller, more resonant while 440 is brighter, almost has a “bite”to it.
I’m glad you played more than one song. I wasn’t sure i was hearing the difference at first but at the second one i was thinking, yep. I heard it. Then i knew what to listen for in the rest of them. So interesting.
This is just what happens when the strings on a guitar is more stretched imo...
the best way to compare these would be to use electronic music perhaps, or singing without using the same voice or instrument for reference
432hz is for healing and harmony. 440hz is very negative.
Ich fand auch, dass die 440 Hz härter klingen, härter und kürzer.
Truly appreciate this breakdown on hertz we're receiving.💯🤙🏽
Thank you for the backround and display of the 440 Hz and 432 Hz playing. Sound has always been important for me.
I'll never return to 440 again. Been playing 432 for several months and it's made such a crazy difference in my songwriting. I used to get really stressed writing music, now it flows.
Imagine the 2020 tv and politics versions of this effect.. .. Regarding sanity (reason, buddhism, humor) vs TV and politics content (madness, anxiety, propaganda, religions, ideology etc)
432 maturity vs 440 puberty. Naturally we are drawn first to puberty and proceed into 432 maturity. But now and in 1930s the opposite happened.

The difference is huge! I can feel the pleasantness vibrating from my chest upwards when hearing 432hz, unconsciously I smile and tend to close my eyes, that's how my body reacts. 440hz seems to not resonate in the body at all, as compared to another sound feels like there is no response at all, it also sounds much more flat to ear. But after a few more examples on 440hz I can say I noticed a subtle tremble in the lower parts of the body, back of the thighs, knees. Can't describe it as pleasant. Amazing video! Thank you so much!!!

The differences, even through a shitty iphone speaker where quite interesting.
I found myself not liking the 2nd version of each song because in my head I fixed the first version as the benchmark! That’s more about me then the music I think.
Enjoyable video, thank you.
What amazed me is that switching from 440 to 432 felt like switching from a solid state amp to a tube amp, or from a CD to vinyl! There is just something softer and more musical about it...
Here’s what’s wrong with your theory from a scientific point of view. You say hertz is arbitrary. But go and look up why the second was divided that way and the creation of the universe. It was created not an accident and that’s why there are these mathematics built in.
@@mickjames7962 Not sure you were trying to reply to me, because I never said hertz are arbitrary. Just talking about the difference in experience listening to it...
You would state the same difference if he played 430Hz instead of 432Hz without telling you, because you enjoy the slightly "deeper" sound, not the specific reference frequency and you believe in the myth of 432Hz. You would also not be able to consistently tell the difference if the examples weren't played back-to-back but instead several minutes apart.
Vinyls sound different from digital media due to their technical limitations, i.e. the dip in the high mid-range (if they're not mastered seperately, this makes them sound "warmer") and the worse signal-to-noise ratio, because you always get noise from dust on the record, the type of needle your using etc., this higher noise floor is very subtle but it makes the overall experience a bit less harsh because abrupt low-volume parts a being "filled in" with noise.
Solid state amps and digital plug-ins at this day and age can sound just as good as tube amps if built properly (which they often aren't because most of them are cheap products), to the point where you wouldn't be able to consistently tell a difference in a blind test.
Sound engineers have been frustrated with musicians for decades because musicians like to hear with their eyes and their beliefs. It is all just confirmation bias.
@@Law0fRevenge Two things, I don't believe in a myth, I'm just expressing my experience listening to the two. Second, when it comes to tube amplifiers, I'm mostly talking about guitar amps. Yes the digital plug-ins sound amazing nowadays, they can sound just as good, but in my experience they don't have the feel yet. That might also just be an experience thing that the audience never hears, but if it makes a difference to me, it makes a difference...
@@Law0fRevenge Yes, all of the musicians and engineers who prefer the sound of tube amps and compressors are idiots who only imagine a difference. Solid state equipment and plug-ins CAN sound very SIMILAR to tube amps and other equipment, by emulating them. But all of those engineers and musicians are still using tubes, if they can afford them, to get that sound, because they CAN tell the difference. It's slight, but there. You trying to lecture people on what they can and can't hear is absurd, because you don't have perfect hearing. Nobody does. You have no possible way of knowing what another person can or cannot hear, you only know what you can hear.

The 432 is the type of vibrations that make us feel good and want to keep listening to that song. The 440 is when we hear something and it causes agitation deep inside of us and we want to change what we’re listening to ..that’s the best way to describe this. Thank for actually playing the music. The number of videos on this subject with zero examples was frustrating.
Yours was the video I was searching for. Thank you.
What a great idea for a video! I found this while researching whether 432hz or 440hz tuning works better with singing bowls. Looked at the math (engineering nerd) and folks have worked out impressive numerical relationships and intervals over the years... Problem is, it's all kind of random, as Paul pointed out with the arbitrary time interval of one second to measure and reference all of this thought.
For instance, we count in base-10 pretty much because... we have ten fingers and toes. All of the division, decimals and frequency relationships are based on numbers that are 'sacred' because we have that many fingers. Cats count in base-8 and three-toed sloths in, well, you get it...
As a professional musician for 45 years, I'm going to go with the character of music being determined primarily by intervals (the distance between tones) rather than the exact frequencies themselves.
If you like sacred geometry and numerology, go with A-432hz and knock yourself out. For me, I would soon get used to ANY tuning standard and still compose music based on the distances between tones and harmonic structure. I like A-440hz because it enables me and my music friends to play in tune with each other, bond harmonically and become one with the Universe (which means 'one song', by the way). 🙂
Once I tuned my guitar with A at 666 Hz, it caught on fire instantly when I started to play, is it normal?
Le Great Bhüüf absolutely this happens to me all the time
Because you did it more than once???... Respect!

I haven't watched the Solluminati video but I will say the 432hz sounds more natural then 440hz. The side by side comparison is amazing.
Don Dajoola facts
The 440Hz feels more 'sharp' in my head
@@johancahyadi6905 Yes. Cause that's literally what it is. 432 Hz is flatter compared to 440 Hz. 440 Hz is sharper compared to 432 Hz. The shit I read here is mind-numbing.
What seems more natural about it mate? There's nothing natural about fixed tuning in general, no matter what frequency you tune it to.
If you were to compare 448 and 440 hz, you would find 440 more natural. We like flat tunings because they sound warmer to us. 432 means nothing.
Brilliant video, good analogy
I find this information very interesting. My first time learning about this & I am still adjusting to the 2 different frequencies played here. WOOOW!! Dude the song you played made me tear up. I had my eyes closed and just listened. The 432 hz literally felt like I was letting go of some sad event.
I loved throwing in some Pink Floyd thank you for that.
WOW! I had no idea the difference would be so drastic! As a musician myself,
I can "Hear" 440 musically and the harmonizing relative pitches.
BUT
I can "Feel" 432 and it is so, so much more pleasant!
I agree with this comment. 440 has more clarity to my ear. 432 has a calm feel to the music but several pitches sound too close to one another and therefore some notes get 'lost' in translation.
Exactly! I love the 432. Actually used some 432 music to sleep by last night. Divine ❤

I don’t think I would say one sounds better than the other.
The thing I do notice is that when 432 starts I get an unspecific feeling of memories that I would relate to looking at a family photo album.
Puts me in the arcade in FF7 haha
This is how i would describe what i felt listening to both, by attempting a blind test (thank you to comment above which suggested so).
432Hz has an "expandable feeling", the feeling of a vibrating note reaching far/deep beyond, and naturally ease off. It felt open, bright.
440Hz felt "contained within a space", may I describe by borrowing the effect (very mild version) of notes hit with sostenuto pedal.
Been consider tuning my piano to 432Hz. Glad stumbling across this video and able to listen to a comparison. Wouldn't judge on the good and bad on this, purely due to how 432Hz made the ears feel :) at ease.
at first when i heard 432hz it felt out of tune but after 5 seconds or so it felt a lot more natural and soothing and then 440hz came in and it sounded so brittle and harsh in comparison. really interesting. the skeptic in me wants to believe they landed on 440hz for 'concert pitch' for the projection and clarity of notes, especially amongst an ensemble but the difference in feeling you get from both is too much to ignore
Actually change the pitch because it's harmful to the body.... If you look at water molecules Frozen under the 440 pitch it looks like a jumbled mess the same as the word hate or kill or murder but when you look at a water molecule Frozen at 4:32 it's a beautiful snowflake
Sounds like unlikely to me. Especial in music where the 440 is only a really tiny part of the melody and harmonies anyway.
The effect of frequencies on the freezing of water has much more to do with the room around in relation to the frequency. For instance the pattern water in a cup for 440 Hz will be the same to 432 of the radius of the cup is adjusted to the respective wavelength of the different frequencies. With other words, the cup for 432Hz should be slightly larger then for 440Hz.
@@mke7605 all the notes are tuned in accordance to A so every note frequency is changed
I produced music for 15 years when I first learned about this I laughed as I could not believe something so beautiful as music could actually be harmful, so I decided to check it on one of my projects…and I’ve had the exact same experience you’ve had….After that I’ve decided to no longer produce my music until they change the standard back to 432hz (I also believe Goebbels indeed used it to strengthen his propaganda system) I am still a bit sad because I can’t do what I love to do any longer, but I am less depressed and that’s actually even more confirming to me the 432/440hz really is an issue…because I can no longer do what I love the most and that should make me feel sad or depressed but now I feel much better when I am at home or at work…the 440hz issue really is way more problematic than most musicians dare to acknowledge
@@Simon_HDM so many musicians die in weird ways ☕
432 sounded so much sweeter to my ears. 440 was far more abrasive.
haha jokes on you I only listen to Death Grips ABRASIVE MUSIC BABYYYY >:)
SHUDDUP!
Same here.
Oh bullshit
Oh ! Very ugly!
432 ! I definitely resonate more.with it. It feels warmer and more "homy" to me.
Thank you so much for the comparison 💚
True the second is arbitrary, and so it the actual Hz mesurement as a result.. but I have heard it said that it's more to do with how harmonics manifest down the scale. The waveform still exists and is distinct regardless of timing used to measure Hz.
If it's all arbitrary anyway, why not use the Schumann res as a low frequency starting point? Perhaps that is why tuning-by-ear before the days of tuning forks resulted in it being closer to 432, it (and it's multiples) harmonized with the inaudible ultra-low 8Hz we've been immersed in forever.
The 432 feels less forced. Sorta light and "feathery" like it just flows with minimal effort whereas 440 feels more like it is weighted and requires more energy to process the sound after it hits your ears. Another feeling it brings to me is the difference in dry and wet sand, not necessarily such a super contrasting difference that makes 440 unpleasant or anything, but the 432 didn't feel like it was as much of a chore for my ears to listen to it, and sometimes-actually quite often really-it is the largely unrecognized or unspoken subtleties that can make all the difference in an experience.
I’d say more romantic
This is how I felt.
Beautifully said.
in that case, i wonder what tuning at 422 hz do for example, wouldnt it be more deeper and warm ? arent all these frequencies relative ?
That's very interesting. In the 440 the higher notes is a bit irritating to the ear. And the 432 seems to relax you.
Relax you, not me
@@Mike_Greene 8inches
@@Mike_Greene NO YOU RELAX!
@@enkrypt3d I did mention that the frequency didn't relax me so WTF are you writing?
@@Mike_Greene so so u admit that you need to relax then! Case closed lol
Nice work, I started your video and realized what you were doing so I restarted and opened another window on top so I couldn't see. Turns out I slightly prefer 440hz, it sounds "tighter" to me.
Thanks for comparison. It was difficult to notice any difference in frequency without strict comparison. However, now I feel like 432 “feels” better in dynamic range and sounds more pleasant for my ears. Probably from nature we notice some frequencies better than others and there is an optimal spot in mid range. And we should also consider that it depends on ears structure so everyone has personal preferences.
440 had a more “ in your face” sound. A kinda of projection, like it was trying to reach out and grab you. 432 had a middle tone that I found very calming. The first piece you played had a base note that at 440 was annoying, but at 432 it blended in.
That is a fascinating reply as I was trying to convey what it was to me and you sum it up perfectly
432 seems great for a live setting. Seems to blend in more with the natural harmonics of the environment. But 440 seems built for the digital world. Again that flavour of punching through the environment rather than embracing it, fits the electical motifs of modern music.
Thanks Darryn, I listened to both with eyes closed and I could in the feeling directly tell what is 440 and what is 432 - just as you said, calm directly and with the 440 a bit annoying sound.
Exactly my solution
Once you start listening the same compositions another 8hz lower, then suddenly 432 sounds “in your face” in comparison.
Might aswell play a semi tone lower (still in 440) and you have the same effect, it’ll sound more “calming” than the normal piece in 432hz.
See where I’m going? It’s all relative and subjective.
I closed my eyes from the beginning of each song and kept them closed until the end. Judged on which one sounded fuller and gave the same guitar a rich thicker sound and at the end, I found each time I chose the 432Hz. Amazingly, it did seem a more peaceful feeling.
Not hard to hear which is which from the pitch, so hardly a good way to judge if you are already biased.
@@the_real_hislordship lol fr. Maybe shes tone deaf though 🤷♂️
@@johnnymac8843 I forget that I can hear in or out of tune very easily.
I do have perfect pitch but I also learnt to tune pianos, so even a classical music concert can be disappointing if someone doesn't tune up properly. Yes that happens.
When i read your comment i did the same thing and for the last 3 the ones i preferred were all the 432
@@ismas2633 Oddly I too liked the 440 better on the first one! How weird!

440 hz has a sharper and invoked a more of a fun, energetic sensation where as the 432 hz invoked a more serene, calming deeper soul reaching vibe
Yes
Define "fun" a concept nurtured by a society who sees fun as the opposite as work, to which we see work as growth. So "fun" tends to cover the impulsive activities that we partake in void of focus, growth, and learning.
That is not energetic and fun. It is anxious, guilty and taboo.
Thank you. I'm reading the replies and yours is a great description of the difference in the sounds. Thanks for putting it into words.
@@swilllow if you say so
I think this is a fair description. I can tell the difference, but when it came to the more modern song he played, I preferred the 440
A problem with such a study is that anyone with even basic ear training can easily tell which is 432/440 in a double-blind study with the same song played together in a random order .. the preference for one or the other will in many cases be because one either seems warmer (432) or sounds less muffled and has more depth (440), but that also does not only depend on the tuning, but also on the recording/mixing etc .. eg the perception of too much brightness in some songs can be fixed by simple and subtle eq/filtering without actually changing the tuning, conversely the muffled nature of others in 432 can also be adjusted by adding some shimmer etc.
That was very interesting and informative. Really enjoyed the tuning comparison segment. I listened with my eyes closed to see which sounded “right”/“better” and my ears must be tuned to 440Hz. Thinking about WHY that is, is intriguing. Probably because of David Gilmour . 😂 Thanks for making this! 👍

that this is because 432 is closer to 420! ;-)

You play so beautifully
Its crazy how @432 can bring on a heavy emotional response or reaction. Truly, feeling the music and vibration of the symphonies.
When you play @440, the music doesn't resonate the same and adds a different darker emotional response.
Music is a gift to the world.
I thank you for this enlightening video.
I definitely prefer the 432 hz over the 440 hz, I actually could detect that my eardrum was slightly irritated at the 440 hz, in contrast to the 432.
How about 455hz? Give it a try.
Yes, the 440 Hz had the same effect for me as sucking on lemons. It was very acidy.
The 432 was gentle.
Yup me too - the first song i couldnt tell the difference for some reason but the second song was very obvious
444hz is nice too
@@detlef741 Also 420hz ;)
I'm a classical musician (violin) and play several instruments, and intuitively, 440 has always seemed a hair too sharp. Hearing the comparison, 432 has warmth and feels comfortable. 440 feels a little edgy or tense. Just my opinion.
P.S. All of the songs you played are go-to songs for me when I'm relaxing and playing guitar :-)
phoenix rises finally a musician that isn't trying to come up with a bs reason; you just like the sound better. Thank you for not tagging on the the scientific pitch (that is the equivalent of a flat earth theory).
phoenix rises -- I very much agree.
432 sound dull but reverberate thru my body and dig a bit deep Into soul. 440 sound crisp, clean, and clear but it just bounce off.
violin usually use 442, so it may be relatively apparent to violin player
phoenix rises I totally agree!!!
After playing for over 40yrs and learning of 432 several years ago but not really paying attention or trying it, I appreciate the comparison video you have done.
My take is 432 is definately easier on the mind and ears, not more mellow but more insync and the word that comes to mind for the 440 comparison is Brash. It is very evident during the Pink Flloyd tune that standard is much more brash and I also see the diabolics in Geobbels reasoning......maybe, like sae vs metric, someone should start a band in 432 and see how it affects the fan base and sales?
There's quite a lot of 432 tuned music around. Mostly meditation type music or ambient. Not sure if it was recorded that way or pitch-shifted afterwards, but there's apps that play music tuned that way and also "Solfeggio frequencies", which are purported to have various effects.
What I noticed when I listened with my eyes closed, the 432hz I felt in my heart, the 440hz I felt above me, outside of me, a totally different feeling. I liked the 432hz better. It FELT better. 💕💖💕
Judging by what I heard from your playing 440 sounds more familiar to me but 432 just sounds better some how
I'd say 440 sounded "too clean" which made 432 sound more natural and therefor better.
Agreed
I felt more relaxed tbh with the 432 hz. Like the 440 kinda made me feel anxiouser (probs incorrect word) ... y'know?
I agree!! 432 sounds better!!! There is something to it!! This guy seems to just want to push the ones asleep back under the covers... STAY LIT 💡💡💡☀️☀️⭐️⭐️⭐️
440Hz is more shrill and 432Hz is more warm and inviting
Six years ago, I was diagnosed with end-stage liver failure caused by trauma from a car accident- they gave me a 15% chance of living two months. I already played acoustic guitar, but I used 440. I actually messed it up without realizing it, and changed the setting on my sound hole tuner to 432, and I started feeling better. Not immediately or anything like that- but enough to keep me going, and I've been putting in hours of practice a day, both playing and singing, and I managed to not only survive, but to avoid having a liver transplant. I can't prove that the music was the one thing that healed it, but it certainly didn't hurt- and a big dreadnaught sound box right against your body certainly drives those vibrations into you.
I'm not sure that I would claim that listening to music at 432 makes much of a difference in reality, but playing it absolutely does...
I tune my acoustic outside, by listening and matching the birds(by ear). They flock the trees around me, and sing along. It is physically and spiritually healing. God's frequency!
Dreadnaughts are almost like holding a baby.
We think your spot on it would have been the vibrations from the guitar when you were playing going through that part of your body especially in a concentrated way.
When you said that you picked up your guitar and you were playing and then you started singing and you do that every day it made us remember that it caused us to remember we thought we should tell you something that you may already know and that is that just like your guitar strings produced tones at frequencies so does your voice and that's why they say monks chant OM they do it in a different pitch because they say it's about the vibration and say the different sound vibrations they produce help or aid certain things.
Anyway we really just wanted to say that your story was good and we're glad that it worked out that way for you, so live long and prosper As they say.
Well said
Maybe you didn't "accidentally " mess it up!!!
Paul's voice is so relaxing in the beginning...start of the video must've been recorded at 432 😊
I cant decide yet what 440 hz makes me feel but i can for sure that every song u played in 432 especially the first one, triggered some kind of memory, good and bad memories but even the bad ones became good in a way and i just started feeling really really nostalgic and warm
432 all the way! I agree it sounds/feels warmer and has more depth. I feel a stronger emotional ear toon to the beauty of the music as well, it actually seems to have more profoundness to it
nahhh, it just sounds medieval.
Then play 416 Hz - and this is warmer then 432 Hz. If you go still more down with tuning, it becomes much more warmer.
I can feel my heart rate change from the 432 to the 440. 440 makes me feel tense but the 432 is soothing
I felt the exact opposite.
Definitely! I felt anxious at 440
I feel more comfortable at 440,
Thank you so much 🙏
IT hits an entirely different part of my physical body, its not so much that 440 is doing bad things however 432 just engages the pineal area right at the front of the forehead, my ears jump into action and i feel more alert.
