First video I’ve seen of the difference. Before and after. We’ve a rescue wire and he was shaved/clipped. It’s now growing fluffy and long so think he needs to be stripped as it’s a bit stinky. Couldn’t understand how other wires have such short coats. This video explains why.

The plucking technique for grooming a dog typically refers to a specific method used to remove the dead hair from certain breeds that have a particular type of coat known as a "wire coat" or "harsh coat." This technique is commonly used for breeds like Terriers, Spaniels, and some Sporting breeds. This technique removes dead hairs much more and much more efficiently than combing. :D

You do not use scissors on a wirehair - not even on paws, tails and face!!! Plug it or leave it.
Incorrect. Trimming paws is fine.
Never sissors on them ... if you were to take him to a show and the judge see that he see that he has been cut with sissors thats a minus 👎🏻
