In Brazil, where I'm from, the guy who's the Brazilian version of the guy in this video, recently made a campaign to gather resources to travel to Norway, to prove that the midnight Sun was a lie, then disproving that the Earth is round. Well, he got the money, he went to Norway, he obviously saw the Sun at midnight, and he came back very heartbroken that his "theory" was very wrong. Now he's gathering resources to go to the South Pole, because he believes that there's no possible way that the midnight Sun would occur there as well. These guys are committed to their failures (and some are travelling the world with other stupid people's money in the process)

For example, a company unveiled an invisibility shield last year. Really, seriously. They have a UA-cam channel, it's called Quantum Stealth Technologies. There's actually been a paper where a guy put up a formula specifically for that based on actual real uncovered conspiracies. You put in the number of people that have to take part in it or have to be "in the know" and you get out an average of how many years it would take to get uncovered. For flat earth I believe it was something like a year or so even with conservative estimations.

I don't believe the flat earth theory. But you can't look past that the NASA curvature measurements don't add up to many people who've studied it and to say that thousands of people can't lie about something is also flawed because not only would they all share the same naritive but many involved in the projects would only be there to build specific parts of the shuttles and for it to work they would only have to 'think' what is happening is real so they Aren't actually lying just mislead.

The biggest sticking point for me - two of those are Russia and China. Back in the day, the USSR had every reason to prove us wrong if we faked the Moon landings... they printed it in the newspaper. There's actually been a paper where a guy put up a formula specifically for that based on actual real uncovered conspiracies. You put in the number of people that have to take part in it or have to be "in the know" and you get out an average of how many years it would take to get uncovered. For flat earth I believe it was something like a year or so even with conservative estimations.
