Imposter syndrome can be the worst, but talking about it definitely helps!!! I had some writing my second novel and talking about it with a friend really helped me.
I found that made it so much better! Expressing my feelings always makes me feel good
I struggle with imposter syndrome so bad on a near daily basis. I’m a writer, an aspiring artist, potter, and soap maker. All incredibly creative things. I try to maintain three Instagram accounts and (sort of) a blog. Oh my wow, it’s so hard to feel like what I have to say or show is good enough when there are literally thousands of people doing better than me. For me, it’s the comparison trap, I think. I follow so many talented artists and writers and it’s so easy to get sucked into looking at everything they’ve done and think that I could never have anything of value to offer because of whatever self consciousness I have. If that makes sense. Lol. Anyway, sorry for writing so much! I’m glad talking out loud about things seemed to help! Just keep sharing because what you have to say is valuable!!
But for real you're a soap maker, a potter, an artist, AND a writer?? YOU'RE KILLING IT! That's amazing and you should never doubt yourself
