  • This is a first in a series of PodCast videos specifically for Penelope. This episode is all about Penelope's Mom. Christin Ann Perez. Her Maden name is Brown. Her dad Passed away when she was 5. Her mom raised her alone for most of her young life. When she was a young adolescent she found out she had type 1 diabetes when she went into a diabetic coma. I am not sure how long she was she was in the coma it could have been a couple of days to a couple of weeks.
    She told me that when she woke up she says she remembers seeing her dad in a bright doorway with someone else. She did not know who the someone else was but she believes that it was God she desperately tried to go through the doorway to be with them but they wouldn't let her and informed her that there was still something that she had to do. When she woke up she knew that the thing she had to do was to have a baby and that baby was you, Penelope.
    Born 6/30/1983
    Died August 7, 2013
    Married 3/10/12 At Castaways

      Alex Hyatt that Penny’s Cameo was totally unplanned but I think very awesome! Thank you for watching/listening! 😊 I don’t think most of these episodes will be this emotional. Som might be but obviously there is a lot of tragedy and life lessons that I can share about my life together with Christin.

      Maybe the podcast needs a disclaimer. "Sad Story", They all won't be this sad though! Penny has just been asking a lot of questions lately about her mom and it seemed appropriate since. It would have been Christin's birthday today.

    I was there when you broke the news with us..it was your first week and you took over for Mr. Gomez. You were such an amazing instructor..and when you were expecting Penny, and Christian was in the hopital...I remember praying..and we got the news shortly after that she had passed... you are such a strong person..I dont know why she had to go..but Im truly sorry and God has a plan for everyone. Take care

      The story as best as I can tell it right now. I've already been getting messages from family and friends trying to help me fill in more of the gaps that I don't know of so that I can tell Penny those stories too. 💞 So Awesome!

      Thank you Carin Somers! I’ve had the idea for a while and finally decided to take action. I think it took so long because it is admitting that I will not be around forever. I do think it is important to have though.

    What age do you think you are planning to show them to her at?

    • @AlejandroPerezVlog
      @AlejandroPerezVlog  6 років тому

      I'd be willing to show them to her at any age. I don't hide much or really anything from her. She occasionally asks me questions and I explain things to her but I think many of the concepts are big for her right now and she understands things from a 5-year-olds perspective. She asks a lot about her mom already and she knows that she passed away but she doesn't completely understand it yet except that it means that her mom is not around. I want to share these things with her and I know her mom would of liked to share more with her too. I think this is just a way to preserve it so that she can get to it in case something ever happens to me. Her mom left her one video and I treasure that so much and Penny does too. We watch it a few times a year. I would like to now continue that tradition on as well through this medium.
