Will the color wear off? I'm new to all of this and not real clear on "duracoat" finishes. I bought some twin beads (that was described on the site (not yours) as being superduos only to find out when I got them that there is a difference in twin and superduo. The bracelet I made with the twins has the color coated on them and it didn't take long for it to start to wear off. In making jewelry to sell I don't want this to happen so I wanted to make sure I'm clear on the finishes. Do you have a video already that covers that?
MsLostnThought Hi. We don't currently have a video going over all the finishes but if you are buying nice quality brands like Toho and Miyuki, you should not have to worry about the finishes wearing off. The Duracoat finish is particularly strong and ideal for projects like bracelets where the jewelry piece might see a lot of wear (hand washing, etc.). I hope this info helps and I am sorry about your past purchase from another company, that is a bummer.
Thanks for the reply! That helps a lot. So far the only problems I've had are with the Twin beads versus the Superduos. Lesson learned, I know to buy Superduos for pieces that will see a lot of wear and Twins for pieces like earrings that won't get a lot of friction and wear the finish off.
Our Skus are listed as DB-010 when the manufacturer might list it as DB0010. The easiest way to match is to look them up by color. Sometimes the manufacture does modify the code they use so it may not always be accurate.
sara sarahi The color is Columbine Purple. If you have a question about which color is which you can type the sku # that's on each tube in the search box on our website. www.beadaholique.com/p-55108-miyuki-duracoat-delica-japanese-110-seed-beads-72g-tube-opaque-columbine-purple-db2138.aspx?UA-cam&

Ballpark estimate for 40 tubes of various colors I'd say $250 before tax.
