You could use those frozen puddings as your ice packs when going on a picnic. It can keep things cold while it thaws and be perfectly ready once you get to where you want to go.
I love how every time they mention any Japanese town or village, it's always "famous for" their something. Be it some kind of meat, vegetables, seaweed, soybeans, tofu-skin, everyone seems to be good at something and proud of it.
I'm salivating right along with you. Shinichi, as you eat that scrumptious pudding! I'd love that right now! 😄 And the crunch of Satoshi's pizza crust was ASMR at its finest! 😋 That was one delicious vending machine haul! Thank you for always finding something new and interesting. 💖💖
I have the desire to go to Japan, to experience the culture and people seem so polite. it’s so clean and looks so modern. Love the indoor shopping, I wonder if the US will ever catchup to Japan ideas on food vending machine? Thank you for sharing!
That looks really delicious indeed! Thanks for sharing this video with us. All that lovely food is making me hungry :) You have a good way of conveying what it tastes like as well.
Those onigiri cakes look amazing. And the crepe exterior wrap just makes it own sense, especially with cakes having their on fillings 🍙❤🎂. Shinichi is right, having these machines nearby would be too, *too* convenient! I'd be visiting them several times a day, LoL
I really hope you guys will do a series on the Yatai, I’ve been begging you guys!! 🙏🙏🙏 There hasn’t been any English speaking review and you guys would do a perfect job.
Hiiii boys! Whaaaaat? Every single thing you both had seriously looked like they were just made at a restaurant and bakery. That pizza was huge! I’m such a huge fan of kurobuta. Every single time I’m at Tokyo Central, that’s literally the only type of pork I will buy to cook with, so I would be all over the kurobuta gyoza or the kurobuta hambug that you had. I have always loved airline food. 😊 Thank you for sharing this amazing vending machine location. I cannot wait for you both to show us the ramen from Yamagata. I only buy my okome and soba from Yamagata now, because of brother Satoshi’s introduction to THESE amazing and best tasting foods. ❤
I was in Japan many years ago and remember the awesome vending machines on nearly every corner. These machines seem to be on a whole other level though! That parfait looked amazing with the fruits and layers. Yes, if they were too convenient to my house I'd be visiting too many times! Can't wait to see what other foods you will get from the machines.
Another great video guys. I'm always amazed by the vending machine options there. I couldn't believe there was a vending machine with cow tongue, it's one of my favorite cuts of meat. There's a taco food truck here that sometimes has it and there used to be a deli that had tongue sandwiches ( piled high and so good) but they closed down🙁 and there's no other restaurants in my city that has it. Such a underappreciated cut of meat.
That vending machine food looked incredible. The no melt cream Satoshi was explaining sounds an awful lot like cool whip here in North America. It's essentially stabilised whipped topping which is made from gelatin and hydrogenated oil and stuff and it prevents it from melting like normal whipping cream or ice cream would.
Oh this is ironic! I just found out that there's a noodle vending machine at my school! ... but everything was sold out. :( I think it might just be new and hasn't been stocked yet. I'm excited to try it because I've never seen one before!
No melt ice cream sounds like stabilized whipped cream. Pure whipped cream will turn into liquid, but the stabilized cream stays firm. If made at home, it contains gelatin and powdered sugar. Commercial versions may add various chemicals.
Omg, everything looks yummy, I'm so jealous! Makes me want to go to Japan really bad 😫 I've never heard about Asagaya before, I'll have to check it out! 😊 I love watching your interactions, they're so wholesome, and you guys are so cute together ❤
I really want to try the beef tounge! My trip to Japan is booked! First three weeks of November, I am soo happy.🥰 But I will not get to Sendai, but now I am able to try the beef tounge. Guys am am soooo exited to come. And your videos are part of the journey, to give me the confidence to go and with so many tips where to go.😊 Domo arigato! 💖
Excellent choices. was there a microwave at that vending machine location? I really like that beef dish and the Onigiri-type dessert. I thought it was wrapped in Nori!
Wow, Japan is amazing. Looks like quality meals all from a vending machine. Plus the presentation of the desserts - Onigiri Cake and Parfait in a can. I could tell that thoughts went into the packaging. I've been to Asagaya when I was growing up at Tachikawa US Air Force Base in the mid 60s to 70s. Now the land has been returned to Japanese government and converted to 昭和記念公園. Asagaya looks totally unrecognizable. Next station at Nakano - I recall going to 中野サンプラザ to see James Taylor concert and 五輪真弓 concert. Wonderful videos from you two - I enjoy following your tours of so many places and different cuisines from all over - not just in Japan but overseas.
IMHO which has been the same in the United States when it comes to UA-cam channels is collaboration with other UA-camrs is a HUGE success and increases subscribers. Straight up and in all recommendations TabiEats should do a SERIES of COLLABORATIONS . . . Paolo fromTOKYO.
Omg amazing And big yes to trying out the vending machine airline meals 👏🏽 Shinichi, you worked as a flight attendant right ? This video would be fun with a little rollplay 😏 … Satoshi as the customer and Shinichi as his flight attendant.
If I lived in Japan I'll never get hungry or bored with food. Look at all those great foods, from vending machines! #koreanfoods #vendingmachine #ramen #pizza
I've been to Tokyo twice, each time staying in Koenji for two weeks... Your videos showing places in Koenji, Asagaya, Nakano etc, make me so nostalgic, I really wanna go back. I really wanna try those desserts! I think I've heard of the non melt ice cream Satoshi was talking about, is it a bit like meringue?
HI Guys, Enjoyed the Video so much. Not such quality in US with frozen meals. The Hamburger patty in the Southern US would be called Hamburger Steak served with onions, mushrooms and gravy. Usually only when served on a bun would really be a Hamburger. I have never had pork hamburger steak and it looked very tasty.
I wanted to see the Loko Moco, just to see how the egg turned out. I imagine it wouldn't be all that runny after freezing and then going through the microwave.
I really enjoyed your post. You are delightful. I would just love to come to Japan and give it a try. I would really love to get to know the people there.

that all looked great, esp the pizza. not food, but aren't there some really weird vending machines filled with random stuff? the weirder the better for me.

The pizza crust crunch sounded so appetizing! Yum! Everything is so amazing.

TFW vending machines got better looking/selection than most of the restaurants in your own town.

Is it wrong that this kind of thing is one of the many reasons I would love to live in Japan? :)
Maybe it was something called or like semiprecious in the bottom of the fruit dessert.
Ice cream , as in soft serve ice cream?
Ohhh those dumplings, I’m going to cause a national shortage. 😁💖
How is the nutrition? When i visit japan could i survive only on vending machines ( if e.g. i spend all my money on something stupid)

10-12 Australian dollars, for any aussies. tho no way we would get food anywher near that quality for so cheap.

If vending machines of Japanese quality started popping up here in America, we wouldn't be able to afford them. We can barely afford eggs, these days.
Fooly Cooly! Is that based on the FLCL anime? Also what IS Fooly Cooly? Do you Fooly Cooly? Fooly...cooly....
