Thank you for sharing, I'm glad our product surprised you. 🥰I like the comparison of the results at the end of the video, it gives us all an idea of the extent of bubble removal.👍
If you spray a bit of alcohol on top before putting it Into the vacuum it goes even faster. Because it pops the bubbles as soon as they get up. And so the bubbles underneath get up quicker.
@@Dawns_Creative_Carouselno it doesn't effect the finish as it's not mixed it and most evaporates before you pour. Most evaporates before the process of the vacuum has finished 😉
I love the fact you and Daniel both did a review on this. I got two of the leveling boards after your review on them and absolutely love them. Now I need to save the money to get one of these. Thank you so much, Steve
You saved me when you introduced us to the JDiction leveling board. I absolutely think this will be a game changer also. Thank you so much for all you do. 💗
Thank you for sharing. I wish I could buy these pieces of equipment but think my hubby would loose it if I bought more “machines” into the house lol! As a multiple crafter I have half the house full with such things😂 To be honest just reading instructions on Jdictions 4hr resin changed my resin experience! I stand both measured parts A & B in hot water to warm through before combining. Makes for FAR less bubbles👌🏻🤗
These look great, thanks for this review, very helpful. I saw Daniel Cooper demo this a few days before too. Good to see a few reviews before investing when it's a bigger investment as craft kit goes. Gonna get me one when they are released in the UK. I stir way too fast sometimes and bubbles occur - this is a good solution
Wow, I wish I had the energy to do resin every day like that 😂 I might have to save up for this, I've been wanting a vacuum chamber for awhile now but I don't have the equipment or space for one but this one seems nice and compact
WOW😮. That is awesome. I have to have one. As always Steve, thank you for sharing & all your pre-testing with your reviews. You really save many of us from buying things that turn out badly. ❤
I'm glad you waited to review this until after you'd used it a lot. I loved the idea of it after seeing Daniel use it but was waiting to see how well it held up. Thanks so much! Just ordered one!
Wish I had the funds for this. Just bought a better uv lamp than I have and a bunch of uv resin from Amazon and it was costly. Maybe I can buy this later. Love your videos by the way. I've learned so much from you
I wish this was in my budget anytime soon! A tiny bit jealous of those of you I've seen test it so far! It's perfect for those of us with space or set up areas for a larger pressure pot set up!
This looks like a really useful device, I'll add it on my evergrowing list of tools I must have. I've been sad because the sturdier vacuum chambers are usually huge for my small shop, but this is manageable size.
I have the large one I've had for many years it's not to noisy and is good for silicone and resin. And ideal for bulk mixing but I do like the smaller one for making a couple of pieces so I'll need to buy one. 👍🏻
This is a really good idea for people with smaller workshops or who can't have static set-ups, like you need with vacuum chambers & generators. Really appreciate you showing us this. Definitely something to save up for when I break into the epoxy resin side of things, I really think this will make a massive difference for deeper pours. Nice one Steve!
That's awesome!! My crafting space is so small that I would never be able to fit a proper pressure pot, but this looks like i'd be able to use it no problem! Seriously considering getting one of these.
Great review Steve, love your channel. Have ordered a Resiners de bubble machine. Do I need a transformer or just a US to UK adaptor plug. Thanks in advance
The UK link takes you to the USA store and the plug is not UK compatible. I’ve searched and searched but as far as I can see there is no UK option. Do you have a UK link please 🤗
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts what if you do it in 3 steps. 1. Put it in the machine to remove most of the bubbles 2. Pour it in a mould 3. Put it back in the pot to help with the stubborn trapped bubbles we all "love" so much
Wondering.... comparing your regular pressure pot with this one. Do they both take the same amount of time to reach pressure? If so what size is your other pot and what cfm is pump? I need a pot but cant decide if this is the one for me? My husband builds river tables and might benefit from me already having a pump. But if it takes longer than this product i dont think itll work for me
Hi Steve I'm just wanting to know if you can help with a resin issue I'm have, I made a resin frog using platinum ultra clear resin ( initial cure 12hrs full cure 3days) I attempted to demold my frog after 15hrs as it appeared to be cured enough to demold, when I tried to demold a foot it was very brittle and broke into pieces, this was the case with all the feet. Could you please tell me what causes the resin to be brittle upon curing? I have searched for answers on UA-cam but cant seem to find anything. Thanks
Hey Steve. Love your page. I've been watching a while now. 😊 I looked up this product but it seems to be only from the US. Is there an English supplier?
soooooo... it is a tiny desktop vacuum-chamber... Guess it beats having to make one your self... Most likely safer too.... But that was one baity title for a desktop vacuum pot.
Hi Steve love thr video as always you explain things so that everyone can understand, just 1 question how have you had this for 8 weeks when Daniel said he was the 1st creator to have been given this machine to try ?? As there are questions about how long they last because resineers seems to have bad press about there machines not being very good or lasting more than a couple of weeks ? So did you have this 1st or did Daniel???as I'm very confused by this ???
@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts hi Steve thanks for replying, Daniel said he was told by the company he was the 1st youtuber to get the machine to test and he uploaded the video about it 3 days later so I know he didn't have it long as he said this himself and it was in his comments people saying about the life of their products, but if you have had it that long it will put a lot of people's minds at rest about how good they really are as it is a lot for normal people to buy if it's not going to last long but thanks to you we can now rest assured it does stand up to rigous use, so thanks Steve I will be ordering 1 this week, much appreciated clearing that up with you
@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts the tumbler/heater/fast curer sounds very interesting as I do love making tumblers so will definitely be watching that video, as I said thanks for clearing up that question as I'm sure a few more people were a bit baffled by it as well but like you said it pays the bills so it's all cleared up now asbd it proves they do last which is great to hear
I purchased the small curing machine with extra trays. I know my level table was level but somehow the resin cured lopsided. Haven't tried the single tray larger unit yet.
I live in a cool climate and bubbles are killing my work. Isn't the 5 and 9 minute settings really cutting into your work time? I need my work time because I fuss to get everything just so.
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts like I need an excuse 🤣 seriously it looks brilliant still unpacking boxes in new house I can't get in my space yet but playing with polymer clay I think I saw you are too?
A cautionary tale. I used Steve’s link to order my machine and at the time didn’t realize it linked me directly to the company in China. I received an email confirming my order and that was the e d of any communication with the company. A couple of weeks passed and I had’t heard anything from them so I emailed their customer support for an update. No answer so I tried again. Bottom line, I sent three emails and have not received any info. Nor have I received the product. I see that Amazon offers it with their one day delivery. Just saying.
Thank you for sharing, I'm glad our product surprised you. 🥰I like the comparison of the results at the end of the video, it gives us all an idea of the extent of bubble removal.👍
Also, pro tip, put your bottles of 2 part resin in warm water for 5-10 minutes before mixing. Helps lessen bubbles. Then vacuum chamber.
If you spray a bit of alcohol on top before putting it Into the vacuum it goes even faster. Because it pops the bubbles as soon as they get up. And so the bubbles underneath get up quicker.
If you use alcohol will the short time setting be sufficient?
The alcohol won’t cause it to be dull?

I wonder if this has enough time and pressure to stabilize smaller pieces of wood for wood turning?

How long did tou put the molds in the curring machine? I recently got one and i am unsure of times
Great little device!!!! Will it work for fast curing resin??? The one resin I'm using now has a working time of 15 minutes

Hi, love your channel. Was just wondering if this is safe for use with resin already in a mold? Or will it squash/deform the mold? Thanks.
Cooo! It’s like magic! I gotta get me one of these! Thanks for showing us!
It seems to be worth the price. I’m very tempted. But one question: could I reintroduce bubbles when pouring or when introducing colour?
Can you use it with a dice mold?
The partial vacuum makes the resin boil (no, boiling has nothing to do with temperature).
Can you put the resin in the mold and put it in the machine?
What is that called and where did you get it
If after you do the initial 5 or 9 minutes, add in mica or pigment and put it back in the unit?
Great review Steve, love your channel. Have ordered a Resiners de bubble machine. Do I need a transformer or just a US to UK adaptor plug. Thanks in advance
