Cool 😎... I use the hair chalk when making my own nail acrylic (if I'm using chalk) and a sanding band to get a good fine powder. I've never thought of scraping like that. I know crushing is a bad idea lol

I just watched your other video about why you almost quit UA-cam, and I got tears for you. I was bullied my entire life since childhood, and I grew to what I would like to believe into a stronger person for it. I know that they truly are the ones that have issues in their own lives, and it makes them feel better to hurt others, unfortunately as you stated. But that is on them. Practice what I do.. it works even in person. When someone speaks something over me, I quite simply and firmly state, "No..I am not receiving that." It takes those words off of you, and you will see the other blink quite a bit. Hahaha. There.. they, then get to evaluate the nasty words they decided to speak AND their words don't hold power over you or your life. :) They aren't deserving of any other time or response, and your short simple statement is a closed statement. Hee hee. Adore you to pieces! If it isn't positive, edifying or uplifting.. walk away. But that comment I practice and use daily and it feels like a phenomenal shield and even gives me a smile. ALWAYS be you.. you are such a light and you have helped me through much depression myself. Thank you!

Hi, Steve, I've been a jewelry maker for many years but just recently started dabbling in resin. I will only ever (so I say now!) be making jewelry. What really is the advantage or need for resincrete? I don't think I will be using it for jewelry but just want to understand it better.

Hi Steve, I really enjoy your videos. I have a question about the resincrete. I make custom resin into pens on my lathe. If resincrete i# turned on the lathe would it crumble or would it be able to be turned down to a proper pen? If it is dropped will it break easily like polyester resin? Thanks!

Have you ever put liquid eye shadow with resin?

  • @southernladyartisticcreations

I have tried Resincrete numerous times and it always just snaps unless it's a really thick piece 2 to 3 inches, there is no way it would be durable for jewelry - so what do you do with it to make it durable - I'm going to make a video showing how easy it snaps so everyone can see it so it would be nice to know if there is some way of making it durable - Thank you - Love your channel💗💗

Hmmm. How long do you leave them in the mold? I think the thinner your piece, the longer I'd leave in the mold...about 24 hours, really. Then, demold and maybe varnish? Several users turn the mold over and gently push against the bottom, when making a flat piece.

Did you do anything special to make it cure properly? It's such an opaque colour that I'm surprised that the UV rays got through it.

On the link to Amazin US, there is a choice of chalk pastels or oil pastels.
Sorry, but which one is it you have used in this video?

You must have heard this before: please name your videos a name that reflects what you are making!
There are times that I need to re-watch something specific, so I do a search….but when I look for UV resin rings, no luck-or resin Crete, or whatever… and after looking for a bit, I give up and watch 3:12 someone else. (Those were just off the top of my head-not specific searches)
I know you are trying to grab attention with the names of your videos, but could you add the topic to the name-at the end, perhaps… ex:
“Why This Item Is a Must-Have for Crafting Studios Everywhere! PASTELS”
This would work perfectly-and we could do searches to find specific videos!!!
    Win for everyone!!

What I don't understand is why you keep asking for $$ to keep your channel going while you keep telling us how you sell all of your work so easily...?? These sales should be making you plenty of $$, which we starving artists have to buy all our supplies and hope we sell our work.

  • @the.resintist

I really don't like these. I don't see what they could be used for. And pastels in resin could go so wrong... Personally I would avoid them mica powder is souch better and far more pretty 😢😢🫣😉 but you make these videos so we don't waste money on something pointless. Unless I missed what their supposed to be 🤷🙆
