Just got mine , sounds GREAT !!!! Drunk Beaver makes some of the best pedals out there ! Got 3 and I love em all . Hey ,you need to make more vids. !!! Ive been watching YT pedal vids for over 5 years ,and yours are some of the best Ive heard .I mean your up there with the best of the best as far as demo quality goes . So PLEASE keep it up ,others will catch up . - Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great news man! I'm glad you liked it. I still can't believe how good that pedal sounds. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments my friend! I'll definitely continue creating demos. I should have one ready for an awesome 'Marshall in a box' in a few days. Spring is always too busy due to work obligations so things are slowing down for my channel but it will get back to its normal pace.
@@jamesbarnett726 that's great man! I hope you get it soon! It's so awesome! I tried it side by side with the Cold war today to see the differences. What I noticed is that the Fat bat has more distortion while the Cold war cleans up better at lower distortion levels, so it's easier to use as an overdrive. Also, Cold war seems much brighter while the Fat bat has more low end. Overall I feel that the Fat bat sounds great at EVERY setting.
@@MindtheGAS Thanks for the info ! I really like my cold war ,but when I heard your demo ,I had to get this also ! Dont think one will replace the other ,which is great . Drunk Beaver makes some outstanding pedals ! I have coldwar /fuzzmaster/trainer ,and now this on order . In a large part due to your fantastic presentations of these ,so Thanks ,again !!!
@@jamesbarnett726 thank you my friend! I really appreciate your kind comments! Indeed cold war and fat bat can easily coexist on a pedalboard as they are quite different.
This demo sounds so thick and nasty! Love it! Might have to pick one of these up next time too hahaha... Already have the Disambiguation and Cold War Bat
Thank you my friend! The Fat Bat has blown my mind by how good it sounds at EVERY setting. It's definitely worth it to have both BATs because they are quite different. The Cold War can go to lower gain territory but also get fuzzier at some settings, while the Fat Bat is pure mean distortion and has a great balanced EQ. Best distortion pedal I've ever tried!
@@MindtheGAS Bought one as soon as Vitalii put out the new batch! Now just have to figure out if it is going to swap in and out of a board or just replace something that is already there. Not taking the Cold War or Disambiguation off though.
@@jt3483 oh I thought you already received it. That explains your thoughts 😁 When I was expecting it I had similar thoughts. Then when I tried it I thought "oh my, this must be on my board"! 😂
I've only tried the Cold war and Fat Bat so far. Out of these two, I'd say that the Cold war is a bit more versatile but the Fat Bat is probably more suitable for heavy music. They're quite different tone-wise and personally I prefer one day the one and then the other. But if you'd put a gun to my head I'd probably go for the Cold war. But don't put a gun to my head please 😂
I haven't played the Bat but the main difference with the Cold war is one op-amp. The Bat has the OP07 while the Cold war has the Soviet UD1408B op-amp. So overall they should be quite similar apart from this difference. The Fat Bat is based on a different pedal the Ibanez Fat Cat which is still a Rat but sounds quite different if you ask me. To put it simply the Cold war is more versatile if you are interested in low gain sounds and also gets quite fuzzy at extreme settings, so it's ideal for alternative, shoegaze and that kind of music. The Fat Bat on the other hand is pure metal distortion, tight and modern.
@@ChristopheLeveque-td5wl disambiguation is a very good pedal and sounds huge but between these two I'd choose the fat Bat any day. It's extremely good and quite versatile because of the several clipping options while the Disambiguation does one thing only.
I Love the riff you play !
Thank you Frederic! I appreciate your kind comment!

@@MindtheGAS The obvious solution = Quit your day job and only do pedal demos !!!
