Going through lots of your content, do you recommend to use other job boards outside of linked in? Having trouble identifying good listings I want to research and apply to. Anything helps, thanks!
LinkedIn is always a great starting point and usually my first place to look. Repvue is getting better, and in general for companies that hire often I would network with SDRs and recruiters so you're on the short list before or when the job is posted
@vincent763 its not easy to leave that and I can't give you a perfect answer not knowing your finances and family obligations. That said what did it for me was looking at 5 years from now and what being in a job I absolutely hated would do to me, and additionally, if I did well in sales and gave it everything what it would mean for me financially at the same time. It's not an easy choice, but with your background you could command a well paying SDR job, and 2-3 years in be making well over 110. Additionally, if you try sales and don't like it after a year or 2, your in a good position to go back and have full clarity that you enjoy a highly technical role. Much easier said than done, but if you have any other thoughts or questions let me know

I make 110k as an R&D engineer, would you recommend the shift? I'm burnt out at my position now but the reduction in base salary is getting to me
