I've owned my car for 11 years now. The siren failed 7 years ago so I had a second hand one fitted for £70.Its just failed again so it's not done bad. Neither of them ever made a noise when arming and disarming. They are known to not last long apparently and they are definitely not the best sounding alarm for a car of its worth. Thanks for posting how to do it. Happy Motoring. Mike.
It's been good. The car is worth £20k more than I payed for it now.Mine is the F1 gearbox. I upgraded the Tcu and this made it alot smoother. Had a few problems here and there which you would expect anyway but on the whole it's been a great experience owning it. If you get one that's been looked after with low miles and a good service history you should be fine and end up with a good car like mine. I was worried when I bought it because of all the horror stories you read about them online but most of that is nonsense. On the whole they are a good solid car.
Thanks for posting this, I’m going to replace mine this week. The alarm sounds like my smoke detector going off when I burn some taquitos in the microwave.
Thank you very much. Great video!

Thanks Mike, how's ownership been over that time?

Thanks for the video. Mine has the same issue, so looks like a common problem.

My one is the same, I’ll look into replacing it, cheers
Hi,just to be clear,is the battery within the siren housing itself? i.e the whole unit is changed when battery goes down? Thanks.
J308S yes it’s a single unit so you just plug that box in. You can change the battery but that involves soldering which is not my bag!
Nice. Did you ever figure out if it should make a beeping sound when you arm and disarm the alarm?
Rajish Jose no but I think it’s all working well and I am happy if it does not.
It should back a single beeper to arm and a double beeper to disarm.
What is the Ferrari part number?
I am sorry don’t have it to hand, if you search you will find it easily in a forum.
