I have been knitting for years looking for mix coloured blends because I couldn’t understand it’s genuinely one of the best videos to explain this ! Thank you
This is probably the most simple way of adding another color into a knitted piece! Thanks! I will definitely be giving this a try on the scarf I'm working on :)
OMG THANK YOU!! I AM SO NEW TO KNITTING AND MY YARN BROKE DUE TO A KNOT SO FAR INTO MY PROJECT THIS VIDEO WAS SO HELPFUL!!
Your tutorial is very clear and easy to understand, even for a novice knitter like myself. Thank you :-)

I used this tutorial in 2019 when i worked on my second knitting project. Here I am 5 years later again when I pick up this hobby again. Thank you for your easy tutorial! 💕
Thank you! My daughter is 8 and enjoys knitting but I have no idea how. This was super helpful!
Absolutely brilliant tutorials. After scouring through other videos and almost loosing hope I found yours and it was as easy as abc to understand and pick up. Amazing. Thank you‼️👏🏽🙌🏽
This was so easy to do thank you! My little girls are going to wake up to fabulous new bracelets
Thanks for this. I only started knitting a week and a half ago, but even I could understand this. Mentioning the placement of the fingers really helped.
Thank you so much for your video. I have been trying, for so long, to find a video that would address the issue of joining a new ball of yarn at the edge of a blanket when working in Garter Stitch.
So far, every time I join a new ball of yarn, whether the same color or a new color, the result is that the very first stitch looks like a Knit Stitch instead of a Purl Stitch, in Garter Stitch. I'm not sure why this happens. Your video does the first stitch differently, & the result is the first stitch looks good.
I am so happy to finally know how to do a yarn change when working in Garter Stitch & have it look very good. Thank you. :)
I didn't know how to add a new colour to my knitting but I found ur video and I now know to add a colour thank u ☺️

Thank you for your tutorial. How do you avoid the purl bumps on the back when changing colors in garter stitch. I want to make a stripey scarf, but don't want the purl bumps on the reverse so that both sides look the same. 👍
Thank you very much this is very helpful and easy to follow
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! ^__^
Thank you so much. This was very helpful to me. I was wondering how to do this and don't have anyone to show me. I had a project in mind but didn't know how to do this.

Me and my mum are knitting a first ever scarf however we chose a very light color u can barely see especially that my coat is the same color so thank you ever so much im so excited.do we have to cut off the first color away from the ball or not? Please answer it would help massively.loved this video ♡
I frequently mess up when changing colors. One new color row will be on one side of my work, and the next will be on the opposite side.
I'm counting my rows correctly, I swear! I try to, at least. Shouldn't that work, though? Consistently changing on either odds or evens? I'm a little embarrassed to ask - it's such a simple thing to keep getting wrong.
Amanda Franquet change colours whenever the tail is on your right hand (or left hand depending on the stitch and look you’re going for) so that all the tails are on one side
I’m still new at knitting, so I just want to make sure, does this method also work if I start my new color with pearl stitches? Or is there a different method that I need to learn
Thank you!
I am snipping the color still attached to the yarn ball correct? I have the tail from cast on still
How do you make sure the line created by adding the new color is on the wrong side of the work as I keep adding more colors???
Good question. The line is created when you knit the second row with a new colour. A tip to get the change on the same side each time is to make sure that the threads from the first color change are hanging on the right hand side of the piece of knitting before you start a new color. This will save you counting rows each time you want to change color. I hope this helps. Let me know if you want further clarification and thanks for your feedback. Pat
that was exactly how i though color changing in knitting works
Thank you
Thank you,!
Easy peasy thanks!!
Is there way to not have to weave in the ends
Not really. You can do it as you go to save you having to go back and do it all at the end. Pat
Thanks
Thank you!
thank you very much 😊😊😊😊😊😊
thank you very much
I must be doing this wrong because this didn't work for me
