Remember when Phil Roberts talked about his 16ga..... Well bud you have proved a lot what a 28ga can do,enjoyed your videos,I hope the prices on 28ga come down one day
Loved shooting ducks with my old 28 double but was before steel shot was mandated. Used it only jump shooting on small creeks and marshes when they were hiding from the open water pressure. Most creeks you could jump over
Looking at Tristar G2 Silver 28guage, 26" barrel. It weighs 5lbs. Do you think it would be too light for Boss 2 3/4" Goose and Duck hunting? Also will pheasant hunt with it. You've shot more Geese and duck. Recoil?
Great video and shooting. That 28ga puts the hammer down. I live in Arkansas I don't duck hunt. But this makes me want too. The crow caller will get used this fall alot. Planning on loading 6 or 7.5 nickel plated shot to shoot. My gun came with 3 chokes. I better check my choke on my new gun.
@@HighPrairieSportsmen you are good shooter specially flying birds with 28 gauge I have one Altra light Benelli it's great with mod chocke but now I have full one we will see good luck with your great vedio
@@HighPrairieSportsmen I meant 20ga. It says in the description you use a 20ga. I know this video is 28ga lol. I probably wouldn't jump down to a 28 from a 12 but have thought about going to a 20
@@davidh6396 I gotcha. I'd say 20 over 12. I just picked up a SX4 20 ga and it's my new goose gun. Also have used a Remington 870 20 ga for years with no complaints.
What load and size are you shooting the geese with? Ive enjoyed my 28 for doves and quail. Taking it for teal next week. Now I want to take it for geese!
Love the shotkam footage. You sure slayed them with the 28 this season. I received my hat today and really like it. Thanks for the window decal too!!!
Thanks! Appreciate the support!
Love it! You sure did well for yourself on a year most had a poor season. Good job, Matt.
This makes me want to save up for the Shotkam.
Thanks! Had to grind hard for them this year
Love the footage. I really enjoy my shotkam, it helped me be a better shot.
Thanks! Definitely helped me too
Love the vids. Watching from Ohio realizing how terrible our bird numbers are here.
Thanks!
The 28 gauge seems perfectly suitable for all things upland game and water fowl!
It definitely is
Nice job! .. and thanks for just showing the shots and not adding annoying music to the footage. 👍
Thanks!

Is it September yet? I always like the shotkam montage videos.

Awesome shots!
Thanks!
I definitely need one
Definitely!
Great vid. What choke and distances are you shooting?
Thanks! Most of these shots are 10-30 yards. Close shots I used IC, geese were full, all others mod.
Was that Can at 2:10 a skip off the water into the bird!?
Just a few pellets at the top of the pattern. Didn't get my gun shouldered all the way
What are you using for shells ?
Boss 4 and 5 shot

I've used the Tristar Viper G2 with Boss 2 3/4". Works fine with it. Not much recoil. It'll be fine for pheasants.
Were shots with your 28 gauge boss shot shells? Do you use no 5 boss? Do you use a full choke or modified? Great shots love 28 gauge.
Yeah, mostly all Boss 5s. Some 7s on smaller ducks. Mostly modified, full when geese are a possibility.
You and that 28 are like peanut butter and jelly!! Ha e you named her yet?? Great video!
Thanks! No name yet
Love it!!!
Thanks!
Great shooting! Something about those 28 gauges. I can’t tell if those guns are that good or only people who are really good shots shoot them.
Thanks! They're pretty fun
I just bought new 28 gauge shotgun, could you tell me what kind of ammunition you have and what shock please
Boss 2 3/4" 5s
@@HighPrairieSportsmen did you use full chocke
Thanks

Right there with ya haha
What Gun and loads were you using.
Tristar Viper G2, Boss 2 3/4" 5s
Are you shooting Boss 5s? Just picked up a Beretta Xplor 28 of my own with a kicks improved-mod and boss 5s.
For ducks, yes. Geese, 4s.
Which gun do you like shooting the best between the 12 and 20ga?
Do you mean 28?

Thanks! Boss 5s
Nice montage Matt, really enjoyed seeing you use the 28 this season. Might have to pick one up myself this offseason 😉
😯😯 looks like I'm going kayak jumping...
what cartridge do you use? very nice video!
Boss 5s

Fantastic
Thanks!
Beautiful. 👌👌 Lead or steel? How many OZ? Thanks.
Thanks, mostly bismuth. 7/8 oz
Sweet could you do a what’s on your lanyard video?
Can do
Has using the shot cam made hitting birds easier?
No, but it helps improve your shooting

Boss 4s for geese.
Isn't the 28 gauge too small ?
Not if you're decoying birds and shooting bismuth
Unbelievable for 28ga
👍🏻
Yes I was the 458th view!
😂😂
Beautiful images and shots dropped the shooting birds like a leaf.

That 28 ga. is just tearing them up . And when you see some of the hits feathers fly .
It was a blast shooting for sure.
Or has helped improve your shooting
It definitely helps improve your shooting by understanding why you're missing
Love the vids
