I had a guy give me a holy flame flamethrower and 20,000 fuel, he also modified some of my weapons for me with mods I didn't have unlocked. Amazing community, without a doubt best part of the game.
Tbh It's great for a specific part of the game that being the swamp bunkers. It is easily some of the saddest shit you could find in a fallout game. A story of a women left alone trying to figure out as much as she can and help the person that comes next before she eventually dies. She's a character who was truly isolated and did the best she could with the time she had. Also the fucking girl who trapped herself in a closet sad shit man. The lack of people makes those things hit harder making it kind of a theme in 76 of isolationism.
Not my favorite fallout game ever but I've enjoyed every second I've played of 76. The world building, the world itself is absolutely amazing. *chefs kiss*
I've put 40 hours into it over the past two weeks, I'm obsessed with it again. I had it since launch but abandoned it, went from Lv 30 to Lv 78 and I'm having a great time.
Welcome to the enclave! I have to echo your sentiments fully here, genuinely one of my favourite platinum journeys and it was 100% to do with getting to play with the Big Bear and all the cubs. Thanks for letting me come on the journey and getting my love for Fallout right back to where it deserved to be! (The Series helped too…) Now to try and fight off this Uranium Fever so my backlog doesn’t get even bigger 😂
This was such a fun community platinum, you and everyone else who tagged along made this platinum so awesome! But yes, get back to the backlog my friend!
I’m deep into Fallout 4 going for the platinum again with the next gen update, but man am I so excited to jump back into Fallout 76 again afterwards. Easily my favorite map in the series, just a bit rough to play when it came out. Congrats on the platinum, and welcome to the Enclave
I've been hooked on the game so much I'm already level 100 in like 1.5 weeks i have no idea if that's fast, but i mainly did do side quests and events so i have no idea about any main quests except for a bit of the brotherhood of steel quest line
Congrats on the plat Mayor! I got the Fallout 76 Plat a couple months back and I actually really enjoyed it considering it was my first Fallout game ever!! Great video!
@@MayorHairBear Thanks :D I have been thinking about doing Fallout 4 as I do own the game (got it for free a while ago from that limited time game catalogue thing to celebrate PS5's launch, I think) just never played it. But since that "updated" version is out now, I might give that a go finally, after enjoying 76 so much.
I played Fallout 76 early on and loved it. I actually liked the story of being the only people left in the region. However, that final quest made is what did me in. I was a melee build and struggled big time with flying scorched. I spent over an hour in that bunker, spent all my ammo and items, and still couldn’t make it through. What a mess
Yeah 76 seems to be a unique Fallout (in a lot of ways) but the need to have different builds/ loadouts is a big one. I just set up a melee only build for the Pitt DLC!
The game has been improved a lot over the years in many, many ways. Both for new players/characters, and for people still hanging around with old ones. Daily Ops and Expeditions offer some replayable content, the new storylines (with another coming in June!), improvement to general gameplay (legendary crafting, multiple camps, NPC interactions) and the world slightly changing over time with updates make it one of the really good fallout games now. Personally, I'd put it even as my second favorite (behind New Vegas) with the best combat in the series. As for that "getting sidetracked early on" - that's not you getting sidetracked, as they changed how the Overseer works so that you're now forced to stumble into the Wayward storyline, which serves as a slightly expanded tutorial for some aspect not originally covered or now re-introduced.
Welcome to the Enclave! Fallout 76 was one of the most underrated fallout games for me, even on release. Now after watching the video I feel inspired to go and get the platinum trophy. Thx!
Bro the level 100 trophy glitched on me because I died, I had to start a new character and get level 100 a second time lmao, still got the Plat though going for all dlc atm trophies atm. Fallout 76 is a great game, it's faster paced than other Fallout games with a lot more combat.
Thank you for making this video! I’ve been wanting to start making content as well about fallout 76. I got the game in release (power armor edition lol big mistake) I’ve been playing again for about a year, and I wish all the people I was playing with on release would give it another chance. The game works pretty damn well (besides the crashing on ps5) and the community is great! I do find myself kinda bored when I finish a season, and after doing all the main story, but it’s a lot of fun to just make a new character and play it all again. Something magical about running around with a 10mm pistol and base leather armor that you don’t get when you’re 250+ with a bloodied build. To whoever is wanting to give this game a chance, enjoy the low levels! Explore and make friends, and stay away from grinding daily ops and expeditions too early, because it moves away from the game and just becomes a chore at that point. One tapping almost everything in the game is fun, but the struggle to survive at a low level is what makes it go great. Anyone on PS5 needing some help let me know and I’d be happy to assist with any quests or if you need Stimpacks and ammo I’ll drop you whatever you need :)
Welcome to the enclave! As someone who played 76 on launch for a few hours and was disappointed. This has made me think about giving it a second chance!
Thank you mate and I was in the same boat (played for more than a few hours though, more like 60) 😂 But yeah playing today was like a whole new game honestly and worth trying again at the very least!
Great video man, I recently got the fallout itch too and Ive been playing 4 on my steam deck, I then downloaded and tried 76 and I loved the way it felt but i returned to 4, 76 has been lingering in the back of my head and i think i might play 76 now on my playstation and get the platinum and continue fallout 4 on my deck
Good job man! I'm on the hunt too, still waiting for the Monster Mash event tho, finished the main story and at level 60 still havent popped up, not even once😂😂
Welcome to the Enclave. My boyfriend and I played this a couple of years ago on PC for a day or two. Sadly at the time there was some bugs that would just kill me and there was almost no one online so just him and I just walking around occasionally shooting some enemy's.
The only bug I experienced other than crashing in my time with the game was seeing Papi fall through the fall so it seems much more stable today. As for the player base, the show hype has given the game new life! Well worth trying again today
I started after the show and now im level 115. Community is amazing and the game is getting better all the time. I loved 3 and NV, so this kicks ass if you love online like me.
Im at 75% completion without trying to do the trophies just casually playing these past 2-3 weeks but I will now start my journey to reach platinum cause of your video!!! 👍🏻🔥🔥
I started playing 76 on launch and haven't stopped! Been through the highs and lows and seen the game evolve and community grow-- It's been such a wild ride and I love every second of it! The community is genuinely at the heart of the game though. I've never seen a more understanding and friendly group of strangers. 76 gets such a bad rep because of how poorly it launched, but it's honestly so much fun, especially now with all that's been added and changed!
Watching this makes me realize how over prepared i was to launch a nuke. My ass had 2 legandary heavy weapons a full build, and a full suit of x-01 power armor 💀
Welcome to the enclave… Iv had a similar experience on the game me and my brother started at the same time we both just hit 100 been a good time getting there
Congratulations on both completing this and actually having fun in doing so. I still remember when this was announced and released, and the incredibly hostile reception the community had to its many problems. I'll never forget that one person who took advantage of Bethesda not registering its Fallout First domain and so he humiliated them with his own version of it. I remember Fudge Muppet, huge Bethesda lore fans, being immensely disappointed and actually coming up with their own lore for a while (I haven't watched them in ages so I don't know if they continued that idea). I confess I don't know what's more stunning: that Bethesda didn't just shut down the game or that it's actually somewhat decent and has a generally and genuinely positive community supporting it. I'm honestly glad that people are having fun and helping each other, but as much as I like Fallout (still need to finish New Vegas, but I played 4 repeatedly), I just don't see myself playing this one. (Oh, and I do admit I like the map design).
I came back after watching the show and have logged 100 hours on a brand new Pc account and I think I might have better luck on this account or something because I keep getting good rolls on heavy guns which is my preferred build , and I’m level 236 if anyone’s wondering , get yo intelligence up and use brain bombs and cranberry relish with herbivore with lunchboxes from the absolute shit ton of atoms you get if your first playing the game , I’ve been having lots of fun with it
I paid $90 for this game preorder. Played the beta. It was so not fun I only got to level 16. I just picked it up again due to the hype from the show and now I’m afflicted. My second favorite fallout behind new Vegas. The guns and crafting are world class
@@MayorHairBear I won a code for the game, but never even installed it, and nearly forgot about it until you video now. Glad they manged to turn it around and showing us that it is actually fun to play now :)
As a trucker i dont really have time to do online games especially when i worry that i would one day lose all my progress since the time inbetween sessions can be a long time inbetween. And 76 falls in the area that got me to stay in game for fallout 4 which is building. I played other fallout games before 4 but building got me to stay after i beat the game. And while i love variety i dont like the implementation in the game, too many bugs and issues in the past with it, and i am a person that wants to build a city. Cant do that in 76. And scavenging felt changed in a way it was too frustrating in spme ways. Maybe it changed but every time i tried i just got frustrated and quit out.
you can in some of the shelters, but, you then have to pay for the shelter. I get annoyed by the camp budget limits too. Why can't they seem to figure that out? I can go as crazy as i want in like conan & ark, but 76, I have to build a small, fully decorated home, or a large empty one.
The game isn't great if you're an old school Fallout fan like me, but the community 100% makes up for it. FO76 has the most welcoming community I've seen besides Warframe. I loaded this game up fully expecting to hate it and was immediately adopted by overleveled veterans and given items for a build they said would suit my name. Would recommend this game for the community alone.
Damn a Fallout 76 veteran, yeah I still feel like I'm learning new things all the time. I only really towards the end started to figure out the best way to mix and match perk cards and not just go for a jack of all trades build!
@MayorHairBear Back in the day before the lock and load update you had to make an entirely new character or spend hours to make a new build Bit thanks to the update they introduced perk loadouts whichever helped with that along with camp slots
Fallout 76 in my opinion was the toughest to platinum trophy. Considering the fact it’s now the most polarizing in the beloved franchise and thankfully not the worst. I still had an enjoyable experience with 76 nonetheless. It’s just Bethesda had to backtrack and fix a fuck ton of issues since its disastrous launch in order to get where it is to this day. New Vegas is still the pinnacle of the franchise btw.
I platted 76 couple of years ago now, i really like the camp building but the rest was prett terrible to get through. Gun play was so bad and ammo is just annoying to keep up. i just went full melee instead. Must admit dropping the nuke was quite fun though
I don't think I saw you use V.A.T.S. throughout the video. I remember it being weird how the game never tells you to use it, as far as I remember. Can be very useful if you have certain perks or affixes on your gear, or just for enemies that move around too much or are too small.
personally i did the last quest on solo cause i had no friends and it was a pain would have taken a lot longer if you didnt have any friends with you edit: also if you did it right now it would have taken alot longer cause theres 23 more trophies you need and they are all done in long quest lines and new events along with that it makes it so you cant do it all in one playthrough
You know, I typically don't hold too high standards for games and it pains me to say that I wasn't too unsatisfied with the launch state of Fallout 76, so when I recently decided to replay I am very proud to say that I genuinely enjoyed making a new character and had fun grinding to level 200. At the current state I would definitely recommend people check it out, especially with friends.
Dude I know 76 gets a lot of hate. I thoroughly enjoy it. I've made good friends playing, always enjoy the building, the new DLC looks amazing, events are still fun to me and I always catch a jump scare playing early early in the morning when I wake up. I think as shameful as it is, because of the social aspect its my favorite fallout to spend time on.
Was this progression done on a free to play character? I would like to get into the game but hesitant on how the game is balanced around paying vs free, what are your thoughts?
So I played half free half payed (the membership was half off) the only difference I noticed was in regards to the battle pass items which are cosmetic and some more storage. Outside of that seems pretty much the same
@@MayorHairBear I don’t remember the name but you had to get a letter from a box outside of a government building there where super mutants and ghouls everywhere and there was also a parkour challenge next to it but it didn’t spawn even tho I did everything right and I didn’t feel like trying again in a new character
Hey buddy, u say u played it at the release day right? Did u delete somehow ur trophy? Or did just never started it? If u have a way to delete the trophy’s let me know pls. I started few months ago to record my platinum journey but I’m from Germany 😅 And there are some games I want to play again and record it like red dead redemption 2 👍🏼 And congrats I also got platinum at the game 3 days ago 😎
Game share to a new account for recording probably a good idea in general so you can turn off all notifications on the new account so you don’t gotta worry about pop ups while recording
No shade on you ofc, but the title of the vid prompted me to say this: the game came out 6 years ago and has had constant updates in that time... OBVIOUSLY it's not gonna still be the same game and I don't get why people (in general) can't accept that.
That's exactly why I titled the video the way that I did. Some people struggle giving games like this a second chance but it really is a great game to play today!
That's a good question, I think so at least it worked that way for some of the dailies but I didn't do too many main missions with other people who didn't already have the trophies unlocked
Been playing since 2 weeks now and def enjoying my time, but the amount of bugs that still plaque this game is insane to me. Like have they not fixed any bugs in all that time? Ian pretty sure some of them they are just like eh whatever can't fix it player learn to live with it
Really? The only bug I saw in my time was my buddy falling through the map. Outside of that and some crashing towards the end it was pretty smooth experience on my end
I've been playing since launch, and I am very happy with the overall improvement from day 1 to today. Bethesda has made the effort to fix their problems and enforce a positive multiplayer experience without hardly any drama or harassment.
So PlayStation separates trophies into trophies at release and then any more added afterwards are still needed for 100% but not the platinum. We will go after the 100% in a future video though!
I can't find OSCAR I have tried to search this every way I could. Am I the only person that can't find Oscar Gonzalez at the Crater for the Hells Eagles? I only found him there for the first quest. Now his couch is empty. Seems like I'm missing something with the update. STEAM
I love watching platinum videos for the fallout series but every time I watch a fallout 76 video I have to listen to the 5 minutes of explaining how the game was horrible
Just the nature of the beast unfortunately, at least for people who played day one. Again, I didn't mind the foundation but the game was flat out broken. It's apart of this games story and redemption arc
What's your personal favourite Fallout game? Mine is clearly New Vegas but 3 is a close second!
I’m in the same boat: love NV and with mods the desert is beautiful! But 3 is close to my heart
New Vegas and 4 all the way.
Always Fallout 4
Currently I'm going for my 2nd 100% 🏆 collection for the Fallout series with New Vegas(My favorite)

Welcome to the enclave mate!!!
Absolute legend my friend, thank you!
You should platinum manhunt an old and very popular rockstar game
I would love to but it's banned in Australia!
After 3k hrs in this game, I can say for sure there are still things I'm learning about
Tax evasion is still the best update they made to this game
Damn a Fallout 76 veteran, yeah I still feel like I'm learning new things all the time. I only really towards the end started to figure out the best way to mix and match perk cards and not just go for a jack of all trades build!
@MayorHairBear Back in the day before the lock and load update you had to make an entirely new character or spend hours to make a new build
Bit thanks to the update they introduced perk loadouts whichever helped with that along with camp slots
I think you should make a series of you going back to do the dlc for games
I think so too, excited to see what 76's DLC is like!
I definitely used VATS more as I played with more legendary weapons and perk cards but with a shotgun build I didn't find I needed it too often
Dude you should have done expeditions ! Fast as hell leveling
In hindsight, that is what I've heard 😂
personally i did the last quest on solo cause i had no friends and it was a pain would have taken a lot longer if you didnt have any friends with you
edit: also if you did it right now it would have taken alot longer cause theres 23 more trophies you need and they are all done in long quest lines and new events along with that it makes it so you cant do it all in one playthrough
I really enjoyed my time with it again too for the same reasons. The community and social nature is seriously top tier!
Welcome to the Enclave
Fallout 3 was my first platinum! 76 is my only other Fallout plat
Hell yeah mate that's awesome! I can't wait to get some more Fallout plats!
Some of these achievements are so trivial, I’m not even going to bother, like killing trogs with dlc weapons or burning overgrown with dlc weapons
I'm willing to give Mass Effect Andromeda & Fallout 76 a chance if the price is right
Both go on sale pretty frequently, I picked up Andromeda for like $10 a few months back!
Was this progression done on a free to play character? I would like to get into the game but hesitant on how the game is balanced around paying vs free, what are your thoughts?
So I played half free half payed (the membership was half off) the only difference I noticed was in regards to the battle pass items which are cosmetic and some more storage. Outside of that seems pretty much the same
@@MayorHairBear Thank you!
Was going for the platinum one of the missions bugged didn’t feel like making a new character and playing another 50 hours
I don't blame you mate, that shit sounds awful! Which mission bugged out?
@@MayorHairBear I don’t remember the name but you had to get a letter from a box outside of a government building there where super mutants and ghouls everywhere and there was also a parkour challenge next to it but it didn’t spawn even tho I did everything right and I didn’t feel like trying again in a new character
I’ll always sub to a fellow aussie let’s go bruz great content 🫡
Ay I appreciate that mate, thank you!
How much does fallout 1st lock you out of?
Inventory space, and some free cosmetic items.
I didn't notice too much except for the battle pass stuff
Its kinda headspinning how they turned the same around lmao like i pre ordered it n hated myself for doing so 😂 now i can't get enough of it
It's a wild arc isn't it 😂
@MayorHairBear one of the best turn arounds in gaming history lmao
@@liamvivian5864 oh for sure, right up there with the likes of No Man's Sky!
Welcome to enclave sir
Legend my friend!
Hey buddy, u say u played it at the release day right? Did u delete somehow ur trophy? Or did just never started it?
If u have a way to delete the trophy’s let me know pls. I started few months ago to record my platinum journey but I’m from Germany 😅
And there are some games I want to play again and record it like red dead redemption 2 👍🏼
And congrats I also got platinum at the game 3 days ago 😎
No way I know of to delete trophies sadly but the reason I started at zero was because I originally played it on Xbox 😂
It's got the content now but it also still has all the bugs
Did you have trouble with the comics as ive read over 20 and nothing is popping
I didn't no, but I did notice the magazines I read that were gifted to me that I didn't find didn't seem to count towards the 20
It’s sad I’ve Been trying to to play fallout 3/4 but I can’t even get it to start :(
I had an issue with 4 not even making it to the main menu before starting 76. No clue why but hoping that issue is fixed!
@@MayorHairBear same I just want to try out fallout
Do everyone your playing with get the mission related cheevos also?
That's a good question, I think so at least it worked that way for some of the dailies but I didn't do too many main missions with other people who didn't already have the trophies unlocked
Only trophies I have left are the multiplayer ones
Hell yeah, best of luck mate!
Is key to the past trophy bugged? Ive completed with 2 characters and the trophy still didn’t pop
I've not heard of it being bugged, didn't give me any problems but worth googling!
@@MayorHairBear Oh thanks mate! Nice video btw!!
Share this video so they can finally patch the PlayStation Crash problems
Welcome to the enclave, have you done witcher 3 yet?
I have not but it is on my to do list hopefully this year!
I got the platinum 3 day ago
Fallout 4 today
Now looking for my ps3 to platinum fallout 3 and vegas
Dont know if goty are diferent platinum
Hell yeah best of luck mate! And I don't think they're separate lists but I could be wrong
Thing that pissed me off about 76 is they changed all the gun noises and made them sound just so bad😂
I’ve found that Fallout 76 is the WORST for my ADD XD but not a bad game. I just get sooo addicted and constantly loose track of what I’m doing 😂
Distraction and getting sidetracked is Bethesda's bread and butter it seems I was the exact same 😂
I've been playing since launch, and I am very happy with the overall improvement from day 1 to today. Bethesda has made the effort to fix their problems and enforce a positive multiplayer experience without hardly any drama or harassment.
Been playing since beta still need to revive players for my platinum
I never thought id say it, but fallout 76 is a good time sink. Its genuinely a fun game in its current state.
oh does playstation not add the seasonal story line achievements? on PC we have 72 achievements at the moment increasing with every content update.
So PlayStation separates trophies into trophies at release and then any more added afterwards are still needed for 100% but not the platinum. We will go after the 100% in a future video though!
@@MayorHairBear Have fun with the faction grind!
I can't find OSCAR
I have tried to search this every way I could. Am I the only person that can't find Oscar Gonzalez at the Crater for the Hells Eagles? I only found him there for the first quest. Now his couch is empty.
Seems like I'm missing something with the update. STEAM
Welcome to the Enclave!
Absolute legend mate, thank you!
Do the DLCs! Its the best part
I got Appalachian HOA.
Welcome to the Enclave
Thank you mate!
there are DLC's? are those automatic on pc?
yes, as long as your game is up to date you have access to all of them.
Yeah all DLC's are included for free!
Could you do a long video for games like fallout or fallout
whats a platiunum and what do they do?
A platinum is PlayStation's reward for getting all base game trophies and they make you look cool 😂
@@MayorHairBear lol
Welcome to the enclave, Fallout 4 since its the only one I played
Appreciate you mate!
welcom to the unclave
Appreciate you mate!
Fallout 76 being considered the worst one: still better than Starfield
That's what I hear, still need to try Starfield myself!
76 sucked at first, but they have improved that game so much its almost unbelievable to think it's the same game.
Couldn't have said it better myself mate!
