How to install your 4Runner PreCut Kit

- During this video, I will walk you through the steps needed to INSTALL your 4Runner PreCut Kit 2001+. The kit will be shipped flat packed, when unpacking you will find all the precut wood pieces shown in the video needed to build your system in 1-2 hours.
This kit will build dual 36" slide-out drawers with locking drawer slides. Inside each drawer are 2 removable dividers to organize your supplies. You can choose between 3 options of false tops to turn each drawer into a cooking or workspace. The system is cut out of a high-quality 7ply poplar core wood, then CNC'd to make the building process effortless.

how does the instal different for the version purchased for the 4runner with the 2nd row seats removed ?
I'd say you have this down to a science; impressive, and still doable for the average person! This set up is awesome. I want one and I don't own a four runner! Do you ship truck builds?

Just came across your channel and really enjoying the content. Subscribed as well. One question, when you do a truck bed build, are you attaching the cabinets to the bottom or the sides of the truck bed in some way or do they just sit there?
Usually have a few bolts into the bolts and the sides yes!
Awesome video!! I have a question. When you use those L-Brackets up against the back seats, can you still fold them up and have people sit back there?

Question on the drawers, i took out the foam in the back of my 5th get 4runner a while back to build my own sleeping platform with a little storage accessible using hinges. I was wondering if I need that foam for these drawers to sit on top of or do the drawers rest on the side plastic rail pieces by the wheel wells?
I don't have the foam anymore, got rid of it when I build my platform.
Yes you would need the foam or would need to build the area up where the foam was to make it level for the drawers.
Awesome design. Only thing I don't get is why make the box only 41" wide when there's 44" between the wheel wells on the 5th gen? Is it so the same box will fit both the 4th and 5th (since the 4th only has 41")? If so that's nice to know for anyone with a 4th gen who might get a 5th in the future, as they could just transfer the box over.
To make it that wide you would need to put an angle on the the sides and it nearly impossible to make an angled drawer side. Also the drawers need to be within the cargo trunk rim to open and not stratch the sides.
Is there a work around option for the 5th gen that has a sliding tray in the back already? Would like to unvest in this setup but have a tray installed. The website said it is a no go, but curious if there is an option.

Yes indeed, as you answered in your video ua-cam.com/video/nEryStRQhy4/v-deo.html. Been really enjoying your videos and know-how. Mine is an '05 4th Gen, V6 still purrs like a kitten.
why do you use 3/4" plywood for the drawers? 1/2 " would be much lighter
I only use 3/4” for the drawer front and side jams
Question?? Not sure if you have seen the yoho 4 runner bed setup. But is this something you can make & improve on reason for asking is they have screwed me & many others who have made purchases from them . I ordered mine 2/1/22 still nothing no response. If this is a direction you would consider I would like to purchase & im sure there would be many others!!
