Love these tips 😊 I struggled with chair spin for like 2 1/2 years because of not trusting my sweaty hands and really utilizing that bottom pushing arm and really leaning away from the pole makes a huge difference
I'm right there with you. I'm eight months in, currently polishing my invert and leg hang, and still consider the freaking chair spin my original nemesis. 😂 My issue with it is mistrust in my slippy hands, too. It's gotten somewhat better when I really started to engage the (outside) side crunch, but I still dislike the move. It certainly doesn't feel like a beginner spin to me, haha!
Everyone says this spin is so easy, not for me. I just couldn’t get it. Watched this video twice and FINALLY I’ve gotten my legs off the ground and I’m spinning, I’m spinning so much I can’t stick the landing…in static! Thank you so much, you have no idea how happy you’ve made me at 3:30am!
Haha yay!! That’s amazing 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 I really struggled with the too and literally remember myself hopping around the pole unable to nail it. So happy for you 😀
once you master the chair spin, even if you can't learn much else, you can do many fun, easy shapes from the basic chair spin shape, like sticking one leg or both legs out straight, crunching into a ball, crossing one leg over the other, or waving your legs back and forth
Hi! We have a Facebook group where you can post pics or videos and I can give you feedback if you want it 😀 You can then always message me if you need help with moves too 💪🏼

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it :D I really struggled with the chair when I was first shown it too!

Love that you explained to create a gap and swing the leg around. I am going to try this at my next class!
Yay! Hope it helps :D
