Avery looks like she's finally kicked that infection and feeling quite well! So wonderful to see! She's so engaged here! Her breathing is noticably better as she happily chats away. Seems she's telling us all her opinion quite well and I love it! I guess caring for someone with any chronic illness, it's really about having to continue trying many different kinds and forms of treatments and medications to find what works best. And everyone is so unique to themselves. I'm so pleased you've found the right form of medication that works for the myoclonic jerks. That is huge as the epileptic seizure are better controlled! Avery turning three is a such a great milestone! She's so bright and beautiful! Using your time and energy to be with her, celebrating the special moments and caring for your family is of course the most important. Please feel free to put up a post whenever it feels right for you with no pressure from us! Just know that we are available to listen and encourage you when you need it. I have been driving for hours back from Florida and saw the video notice and honestly, I flew the last 150 miles! I cannot believe Avery will be 3. The years have flown by...she looks so happy and to see her smile and talk so much, brings such joy...I'm pretty sure I heard her say "Chele"! Is Avery still going to nursery school? The iPad was a great idea and perhaps even for the car rides when necessary. Although, with this new diagnosis and frightening symptoms you still might not feel safe going alone with her. So much love for you all and I am proud of you for knowing you needed this respite and in fact, still need it and are comfortable taking the time you need to feel safe again. When it's your child/children, it's all that matters. It's just amazing to hear from you two and know what's happening and I thank you for sharing with us. I love that romper on Avery...every time I see it, I like it more! Especially with tights. Take care!❤
They removed Avery from nursery before starting the steroids. I'm hoping in another month it will be an option again. Certainly it will be shared if possible.

Absolutely your mental health needs looking after, looking after Avery and the boys, just doing life can be overwhelming at times. It's all about pacing yourself, luckily Josh is supportive and works hard. Enjoy those book breaks, anything you enjoy helps. ❤

One difference is when allergic, Talc can cause issues with heart or nervous system. It's worth taking the time now to compare the liquid over the pill. The same issues could return to haunt taking a different medicine. Despite the pace, you look great. I hope you can receive a bit of time for yourself to recharge. Everyone needs that.🌷

That’s definitely something we’re thinking of doing, because Averys coordination in her arms and hands isn’t great we’re thinking eye gaze will end up being more beneficial but that is very very pricey xx

Is it possible to teach her a couple of words on her tablet? I know she's only 3, but hoping in time she will have a program that helps her communicate. We love her so much! Crissy, I know it feels heavy but we are all here for you❤❤❤
Suxs that the steroids didn’t work, but I do think it cleared up her congestion! Initially steroids are great at reducing inflammation and you actually feel really good! So I bet she’s probably feeling pretty nice right now😁 sounds like overall she’s pretty stable. I wasn’t clear on if y’all are thinking the second eeg results mean they think she doesn’t have infantile spasms after all, or she does? Colorado USA♥
They still unsure, is could be that she’s having subclinical spasms. But for now I think we can just take each day as it comes as long as she’s not having seizures xx
I know how you feel about anniversary my mum passed away in October the weekend as Halloween was during week but I'm same I like to forget its Halloween or mothers day or mums birthday in Augest or Christmas I think peopke think it's stupid when mum died in 2014. I had issues at one point I'm on PRM for my mental health they had to put me on same drug but with a slightly different name which wasent helping me luckily touch wood they started being able to get the blue tablets back I know its psychological that even if there blue and other brands white its just sane but I think the blue ones are better there called promethazine hydrochloride ❤ to you all
Grief is never stupid and sometimes it creeps up on you when you least expect it. I’m sorry to hear about your mum I can’t imagine how hard it would be without my mum xx

Is it possible to teach her a couple of words on her tablet? I know she's only 3, but hoping in time she will have a program that helps her communicate. We love her so much!

Suxs that the steroids didn’t work, but I do think it cleared up her congestion! Initially steroids are great at reducing inflammation and you actually feel really good! So I bet she’s probably feeling pretty nice right now😁 sounds like overall she’s pretty stable. I wasn’t clear on if y’all are thinking the second eeg results mean they think she doesn’t have infantile spasms after all, or she does? Colorado USA♥
They still unsure, is could be that she’s having subclinical spasms. But for now I think we can just take each day as it comes as long as she’s not having seizures xx

I know how you feel about anniversary my mum passed away in October the weekend as Halloween was during week but I'm same I like to forget its Halloween or mothers day or mums birthday in Augest or Christmas I think peopke think it's stupid when mum died in 2014. I had issues at one point I'm on PRM for my mental health they had to put me on same drug but with a slightly different name which wasent helping me luckily touch wood they started being able to get the blue tablets back I know its psychological that even if there blue and other brands white its just sane but I think the blue ones are better there called promethazine hydrochloride ❤ to you all
Grief is never stupid and sometimes it creeps up on you when you least expect it. I’m sorry to hear about your mum I can’t imagine how hard it would be without my mum xx
