My neurologist gave me topiramate. I have epilepsy and it gives me bad headaches and he said it would help me. 😂 it never did. Didn’t help with my epilepsy at all too and all he did was make it stronger. It did nothing. Then I moved and I have a new doc. There is no evidence that Topiramate itself can cause infertility. But important to know it is not very safe in pregnancy so discuss it with your neurologist We know that infertility is higher among women with epilepsy
Before I found out I was pregnant I was taking epilim, tegretol and folic acid...but after I found out Im pregnant I went to my doctor and he changed my medication and since then av been taking carbamazapine(tegretol) C.R. 400mg two times...but I still get convulsions after some time. Av been taking folic acid for a while now...I think that's why av been getting convulsions coz am stressed coz of my baby. What can I do???

Levipil is safe for pregnancy bcoz I m also taking this medicine
