This is the best video on a given Notion topic I watched so far. I saw more videos on this channel are about Notion. Hope they are as clear and to the point as this one.
Hello, thank you for the video. Unfortunately, I can't build the toggle navigation. You skipped the step how to create them. Please explain in more detail.
To create the toggle navigation, add a toggle block using the > symbol and add a name for the toggle, and the items underneath it, like you would do normally. To use the subitems as navigation, copy a link to the page or block you want and paste it over the top of the text, as i explain here - ua-cam.com/video/Rs9K6Yn46fU/v-deo.html
The easiest way is in your synced block, type /col2 for two columns, /col3 for three columns etc...and then in each empty column add a toggle using > like normal...
Thank you. This video is almost a year old so I've started charging for the CRM template. Others are still free though. Check them out here --> andygaught.gumroad.com/
Hi! The easiest way is in your synced block, type /col2 for two columns, /col3 for three columns etc...and then in each empty column add a toggle using > like normal...
is there anyway to lock the synced block so that it feels like a real navigation menu , cause every time I hover over it , it feels like I'm gonna delete something from it
Hi, you can lock the page, which enables you to interact with elements like databases etc, and it will lock the synced block, so you can click but not edit the text. But this will also lock the rest of the text on the page...
@@andygaught yeah i figured that . I actually want to lock my main page. but the rest of the pages i want to use :) and the same problem happens on the other pages. so maybe i just have it on the main page. i guess thats the only solution. but thanks for the guide
How did you create the toggle for the items in the nav bar? I know how to make a toggle list but how are you getting the across the nav bar because I am unable to make multiple toggles in the row. Are you first creating x number of columns? Please to share
Hi there! To do that, add the text headings as columns as I explained for the usual navigation bar. Then, once your headings are in columns, click the 6 dots to the left of each heading and select turn into --> toggle. It will keep the headings as columns but it will now be a toggle list and you can add further headings nested underneath it.
I have the same issue. When I try to arrange the menu in columns and then switch it back to its original horizontal form, the menu items are spread too far apart from each other. It would be helpful if a new video could be created specifically to explain this problem. Thank you for your awesome videos!
I have the same problem, I can't add the text on the same line. impossible to make > title on all the words in my menu bar I can't create the list on the same line. If possible, please send me a tutorial.
