Thank you for the ideas. I always use a scrap of fabric to sew upon when starting or ending a seam. I cuts down on rats nests and long threads to trim later.

Is there a reason why you dont use 1 piece of vinyl, so you dont have to sew the bottom?

I do boxed corners in a way that I want to see the bottom seam to make it perfectly even. You can do it your way too.
