Ahh man I randomly just thought of this game, searched it on UA-cam and found this! I literally remember every single detail of this game I used to play this non stop when I was younger! Classic :)
Omfg, this game is awesome! I've played it like a decade ago and it was the best arcade shooter that I've ever played. You don't see this game in arcades anymore, which is a real shame because I haven't played the game since it got taken out of arcades.
+Прушин Тень The one about Ancient Egypt is The Maze Of Kings and the one with the underwater monsters is The ocean Hunter, based on your descriptions. Am I right?
We did use the controllers later on. I'm just sad that my light guns are dead few years later when we tried to set it up on a CRT TV. I also love Time Crisis 3 but it's horrible to play 2-player mode unless you have a huge (like really huge) tv.
This was the first game I ever played! Oh man this brings back memories. I couldn't always get the weak spots when I played. Thanks for uploading this!
Loved this game! I remember it being challenging to find in stores but when I finally did I played the fool out of it. Huge House of the Dead / Castlevania fan so my affinity for this game came naturally.
I was so inspired by this game when I was a young preteen goth kid, loved the art and cool levels, and the choir music at the score board at the end of each level.
I played that game for two weeks about 6-8 hours a day when I was about the age of 8, but I always died eather to the science guy or to the mermaid. So the ending was completly new for me and I must admit: It fits the game. Cool gameplay and a bit of a story too.
it would have to be VR for the PS4 since modern TV do not work with classic lightgun technology. Someone on kickstarter is making a LCD/LED/ect compatible lightgun, but without something like that you would have to use a controller to aim and fire and this game is way too fast for that. PSVR could do it though.
Used to play this at my cousins all the time! Not going to lie, looking at it now that has got to be some of the coolest loading screen art for it's time! Love me a good on rails this was just good old plain fun. Could never beat this game though!
Lol the supernaturalized version of HOTD except....they're just dealing with a helpless Alice to protect versus a gun-toting Amy, Lisa, or Kate. Love that bad voice acting though ^-^ ahhh the basis of video gaming, how great your advancement has become in the future.
Bar the poor voice acting, this was a very well thought out game. Used to play the arcade version of this all the time as a kid, loved the Phantom stage.
I played this game a lot on the arcade machines. I liked this game, but I couldn't even get past the first level. Thanks technology now I can watch what I missed and even see the ending!
I remember seeing someone play this game in an arcade when I was about 10 or so years old. Strange how my memory works, since I remember the voice acting being less atrocious than it is and, for some reason, imagined The Genius as a Nightcrawler-esque feral vampire. No idea why.
To think they had this in the common room of the university I used to go every year, watched people go through almost £10 getting up to the annoying flying dude
Yeah, this game was designed to swallow people's cash in the arcades. House of the Dead wasn't nearly as challenging. Those sarcoma things on the villagers is a nightmare to shoot and is the only way to save villagers to get hit points! At least on House of the Dead, the zombies were much bigger and easier to hit.
God I remember this game! I found in a holiday camp's arcade room, in pretty much the middle of nowhere. And it still worked! I remember playing it to the end and thinking it was pretty good.
This game seems to be as close as we will get to playing Castlevania the Arcade game that came out in 2019 , a shame someone hasn't dumped the game and made it playable for pc like someone did for Silent Hill Arcade.
I used to play this with my older sister years ago and we thought the game was so tough but we finally improved our teamwork and started kicking ass! P.S: I swear I remember the game having amazing graphics.
Random thing I noticed: In all these Namco games, the P1 character always adopts a one handed firing position in cutscenes and the P2 character always adopts a two handed firing position.
The second boss of this game is way more annoying and difficult. The Hangedman was much easier and quicker to defeat. It was clear that Sega was running out of inspiration when they effectively ripped off the Hangedman twice in this game. First with the second level boss and with Sir Vampire at the start of his boss fight.
Oh so much memories from my childhood. I remember one time when I was outside playing this for the first time and didn't know how to reload and then I just keep shooting at the screen hoping it would recover some bullets for me. My English was very bad back then (when I was like 5) so I make a complete idiot out of myself
Ahh man I randomly just thought of this game, searched it on UA-cam and found this! I literally remember every single detail of this game I used to play this non stop when I was younger! Classic :)
Joel Webb I was told it was a short game two days to beat it.
Used The Game To Non-Stop And Every Must Time
i used to play this with my dad and my little brother with an extra unplugged controller xD
These games were my childhood man.
Didn't expect to see you here.
weerossHD House of the dead
Mr-Pink same
So were i and when i see this video i laugh and cry at the same time
Dat voice acting... Dat dialogue... So much delicious cheese!
TwitchWasHere House of the dead?
Christian Trinidad it's 3,4, overkill, and Scarlet Dawn. ThotD 2 doesn't have the cancel bar yet
+ChristianCSG in this game the health bar logo is not same
animation too
It's not for everybody. But, for those who give it a chance, the flavor is just *chef's kiss*. It's like "The Room" of rail shooters..
My uncles Jesus and Giovanni put me on to this game. I can't thank them enough for it because I've never forgotten. RIP my uncle Gio.
Oh my god, i used to play this with my big bro back in the day, I'm such a coward back then, even the loading screen gave me the creeps.
The silence of waiting is pretty chilling.
The graphics seemed better back in the day.
Trust me this was by a long shot the best looking light gun game back in 2001.
Took Namco few years to topped it with Time Crisis 3.
I think they still look cool.
Agreed
That's because they were better back in the day
@As Crônicas do Tio Will its exactly what you want in a game like this
Castlevania + House of the Dead = Vampire Night XD
Perfect
Made by Seganomi
So true dude.
It was Namco+Sega. Who would thought they will cooperate an arcade game back in 2000
Same thinking!
Omfg, this game is awesome! I've played it like a decade ago and it was the best arcade shooter that I've ever played. You don't see this game in arcades anymore, which is a real shame because I haven't played the game since it got taken out of arcades.
I found the machine for this bad boy in Brisbane not so long ago.
RamYouUptheButt No house of the dead is better
The Shooter Because In Anymore
@@KaiserDragun there both better
@@oreofoxgamerx6028 Ok
I used to play this with my dad it was such a fun game!
Same thing) Do you know the name of two familiar shooters: one about Ancient Egypt and the other is about Underwater monsters?)
Completely forgot their names(
+Прушин Тень The one about Ancient Egypt is The Maze Of Kings and the one with the underwater monsters is The ocean Hunter, based on your descriptions. Am I right?
Mr. Veteran Exactly! Thank you really much ^^
Emily Salmon forreal tho😊
I used to play this game with cousin every time until we got a new tv which the light guns doesn't work on it.
The voice acting is just hilarious.
Sorry to hear that. You can still use PS2 controllers though. That's what I used, and the game is still as fun. :)
We did use the controllers later on. I'm just sad that my light guns are dead few years later when we tried to set it up on a CRT TV.
I also love Time Crisis 3 but it's horrible to play 2-player mode unless you have a huge (like really huge) tv.
Huke Chong If you use the controller will be easier for you to aim the opponents.
Huke Chong It took me few years to master this game sighed
i used to play this game with my cousin too when i was 8 man
This was the first game I ever played!
We're here at last.
Yes. How long I have waited for this moment.
I was so inspired by this game when I was a young preteen goth kid, loved the art and cool levels, and the choir music at the score board at the end of each level.
Me too
same for me
Who knows: there were also good shoters, one about Ancient Egypt and the other was about different sea monsters. How are they called?
Those two vampire hunters are the most badass vampire hunters in the history of vampires hunters.
*The Belmonts want to know your location.*
Michel and Albert :)
Michel And Albert.
brings back old memories :') Love this game
Glad you enjoyed the video! :)
This and house of the dead was the shit back in the day for me :P
For me, it's still the shit now. :)
This, house of the dead, and don't forget ninja assault!
Keanu Nurherbyanto A play through of that may be on the way. ;)
This, HoTD, Ninja Assault, and Time Crisis were the shit for me
John Tizuela Dont forget Virtua Cop
I'm so glad that I've found a copy of it for PS2 years ago ;) I used to play it in the arcades all the time.
I played that game for two weeks about 6-8 hours a day when I was about the age of 8, but I always died eather to the science guy or to the mermaid. So the ending was completly new for me and I must admit: It fits the game. Cool gameplay and a bit of a story too.
To Kill Father The Night
Sony needs to put this game on ps4 store
With VR everywhere, we need a vr version.
@@theblackbaron4119 a remake for the PS VR

I wonder why no one has made rail shooters for VR? Though I'd take a remake of this too. Or even a sequel. In a heartbeat.
Never played it super often but I have very clear memories of playing this with my brother
Used to play this at my cousins all the time! Not going to lie, looking at it now that has got to be some of the coolest loading screen art for it's time! Love me a good on rails this was just good old plain fun. Could never beat this game though!
That reload voice was in the house of the dead 3
I just randomly found this video from Related videos of a Baroque playthrough lol glad I did, was pretty entertaining (and confusing).
I remember this game as a kid my uncle steve use to play it back in early 2000’s
I played this game so much I learned almost all the spawns XD
Never heard of this game until I just now googled arcade gun games. Looks awesome. Thanks for the video!
the ending make me cry
Ahahahah.
Lol the supernaturalized version of HOTD except....they're just dealing with a helpless Alice to protect versus a gun-toting Amy, Lisa, or Kate. Love that bad voice acting though ^-^ ahhh the basis of video gaming, how great your advancement has become in the future.

The poor voice acting makes it 👌
i used to play this when i was 8 yrs old and now im 20 watching this , gettin sentimental here !
I played this game a lot on the arcade machines. I liked this game, but I couldn't even get past the first level. Thanks technology now I can watch what I missed and even see the ending!

I still have this game. Me and my little sister would always play this game all day long until our mom yelled at us to get off it. lol Good Times
Getting heavy Vampire Hunter D and Castlevania vibes. I used to play this game every day, and to this day it is one of my most beloved PS2 games.
This game was so freaky as a kid lol, kinda miss having a game put me that much on the edge of my seat
one of my favourite games growing up.
Lusin mine too
Gta San Andreas ps2
this remids me castlevania but in first person shooter
Mashito el elefante it is castlevania
The dialog "who shall live and who shall die" was always repeating on my head until now
Ah, good old memories, i was so proud beating this game with a controller.
I remember being blown away by the graphics back then
To think they had this in the common room of the university I used to go every year, watched people go through almost £10 getting up to the annoying flying dude

Me and cousin replayed this game so many times together the good old days
i might need to check it again
Used to play this with my dad all night. Still remember the graveyard section like it was yesterday
God I remember this game! I found in a holiday camp's arcade room, in pretty much the middle of nowhere. And it still worked! I remember playing it to the end and thinking it was pretty good.
Admit it... We were all kind of sad when the Diana (the mermaid) died.😢😓😭😥😰😩😫;-; D:
nope i dont
The story and graphic of this game are good,
I want someone remake it
man this games reminds me of when i was 8
i used to play it with my cousin on his ps2 and i was scared as fuck
good times....

This used to scare tf out of me when I was a kid
Those first few kills tho...
"BUTTERS! WHAT DID I TELL YOU!"
I miss this game so much. Me and my brother used to play all day all night
Wait...How did they run up a tower and ended up in a forest???
The first bosses shouting when he hurls those air-cutters at you sounds more like he just had a candy bar get stuck in a vending machine.
that moment where you completly miss the shot and turned him into a vampire
RandyButtahz I knooooow. Poor townspeople
Saw this at the movie theatre arcade back in 01. The games bass and speakers were loud and got your attention. Was very cinematic like.
Ah memories time to pull out the ps2 and have a trip down memory lane
This game always froze on my ps2 and i was sad lol but this game was fun from what i remembered
The missus andi played this in the arcade and both of us got through on a single credit. We were fairly proud of that.....
Fond memories...
This game was cool it may didnt have the best graphics but the difficulty was good and the vampire atmopshere was of my total joy!
Fun Fact:
Vampire Night and Ninja Assault and MAZAN runs on Naomi Arcade system with System 246. Both are arcade based on Dreamcast and PS2 Console.
Random thing I noticed: In all these Namco games, the P1 character always adopts a one handed firing position in cutscenes and the P2 character always adopts a two handed firing position.
:"") nostalgic , im playin this game with my sis
Very underrated.
Gotta say the style and soundtrack of this game are cool af
I was thinking about this I played a demo once of it was so good ty for sharing
i love this game brings back my childhood memories....
My favourite shooting game when I was in grade school…..
Eu jogava muito esse jogo, amava ♥️ que saudades
Played it back in the day In the arcades, still have it on PS2. I wish I could find an arcade cabinet with it. Damm they are rare.
I can't tell which is more annoying
the second boss of this game
or the hangedman from house of the dead
Probably the boss from this as he is a harder boss and has a more annoying voice.
I know it's late, but Guillaume's attacks are a pain in the fucking ass. Literally. He's like Hangedman but more agile and aggressive.
懐かしすぎる…

The best game of my live in PS2
Loved this game as it was the closest I could get to house of the dead on ps2 with the light gun
I remember having this game on a demo disc along with demos for Dynasty Warriors 3, Herdy Gerdi, Drakan and a trailer for Final Fantasy X
Wow this game looks good never heard of it
diane: LET IT GO! LET IT GO!
This is very HOD-esque. From the audio to the character designs, everything about this reminds me of the HOD series.
+KirbyWarrior12 The same company (WOW Entertainment) developed both games, so their similarities should come as no surprise.
Mr. Veteran
I was unaware of that.
+KirbyWarrior12 and theyre both sega arcade light gun games
Even the intro sounds really similar to HOD 2 intro theme
Rofl it's like totally the Mont Saint-Michel in the beginning. There's everything, even the simple fact of being surrounded by shallow water.
39:50 Sir Vampire "This is as far as you go, I'll finish you he....shit, wrong game!" #hangedmanripoff
I remember have 2 G-Con 45s and setting both up as player one and player 2...but Inused both guns. It was awesome...huge TV and me with 2 G-Cons
Good old memories my friend
This game deserves a remaster
Had this in an arcade in Timezone at Ayala Center Cebu from 2005-08. Never got to play it though
I think SEGA and Namco worked together on this one if you ask me.
Indeed they did. ;)
ذكريات جميلة مع هذه اللعبة الله علي اياما الطفولة
This seems like a House of the dead game just with Vampires. awesome!
Holy shit this game was soooo fun back in the day
This game was great back at my childhood days I want to play it again but PS 2 is gone
TheDeadpan Gaming Terribly sad to hear.
Que buen juego ... Lo jugábamos con mí hermano que piola esos tiempos jaja
My childhood 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️ sony make this on ps4 plz
I remember play this game and I couldn’t get past the 3rd boss 😂 the memories
3:46 hey i see that! you're the monster kid with tha hair
heres the irony, they too are vampires
I remember when they paid me in Snickers to do the voice acting in this game. I still have peanuts stuck in my teeth till this day. 🤔
13:21 There's only one way to make a vampire even cooler. Make him a mad scientist vampire! Or not?
This was my first PS2 game, me and my brother never managed to beat it.
