      Licensed Plumbers don't use PVC through the wall. In the Philippines they don't have plumbing codes ... Enough of the super glue and styrofoam 😂and heating up PVC ...Can we see the other side of the wall?

      No.....A master plumber is one you can hand a set of plans to and he'll plumb that house (waste, water and gas systems) from the ground work to finish, by himself without holding anyone up. (That's me)

      set it to your working speed! you see in the video i set it to max but with fast working speed! be aware of the possibility of overheating if it gets too close! best regards!

    Interesting solution to the problem, but I would think the handle is backward. Water should be flowing when the handle is in the same direction as the pipe and water is off when the handle is perpendicular to it.

    Will the tube strong enough after you thinned the tube. And for the second one the stick area appear to be a bit small. But it may work I just don't know

    He just changed the leak from the outside to the inside of the house. Two wraps of Teflon tape are plenty.

      I've seen the plumbing standards in the Philippines. They use hoses. And PVC is not available as they're are no Home Depot's or Lowe's around 😅. I've seen them use bamboo in the Philippines and Asia

    Unfortunately these 16 bar pipes with low thickness are appropriate with low pressure not high pressure and the pressure to the water in this video could be just 1 to 1.5 bar maximum, so these maintenance could work , but high pressures needs to replace portions.
    And instead of using sand paper to roughness the valve surface , just use (thinner or cleaner with brush ) it is guaranteed.

      Iron will get rust at the end they do like this and its more difficult to replace once its broken or get rust . Plastic less work and cheaper

    I'd have got a pipe small enough to neck down and glue into the pipe itself then put a threaded end on. It's a spigot, doesn't necessarily need full flow just to run a sprinkler.

    Interesting although I wouldn’t have plastic on my outside hose shut off valve but hey to each his own😮 here in Tucson, the sun would disintegrate that in two months, maybe three best to rip it all out and install copper😊

      I like the repair but I am sure an outside faucet would need a metal shut off to hook a garden hose to. I too think the repair was needed as someone pulled the hose too hard breaking the plastic pipe. Now what do you do a year later when one breaks the repair?

    he used electrical pvc conduit to repair it. The pipe was broke in the wall he didnt have enough surface to glue the conduit to, and this time it is going to leak into the building in the wall. Do not fix a broken fitting like this. You are asking for trouble in side.

    That should last about a day , and if the crack is deeper than the splice it will leak inside the concrete

    Terrible - an expensive, leaky bodge. Cut the wall around the pipe with a 4" grinder, take off the old broken fitting by grinding one side to pipe level then levering it off, glue a new one, and repair the wall. The worst bodge up I've seen.
