Beachhead was a fun character in the old Sunbow Animated series. If I'm not mistaken,he was the 4th in command of the Joe Team in that show.
Yup. That was established in the first episode of the mini-series "Arise, Serpentor, Arise!".

This channel is all nostalgia for us 80s kids . Love it.
He a great figure, my favorite of the line, minus Snake Eyes. Shame that his accessories are green. I customize mine, and ordered some weapons from Murauders. I like they added in the beret, though I wish they added in a second unmasked head to wear it. He's a great character, and Hasbro did him right with this version. Thanks for the great review! Very cool review of Cobra Island Exclusive Classified Beach Head, I like the very detailed sculpting and the accessories. I didn't know Cops was connected to G.I. Joe through Beach Head and Cop's Wayne Sneeden III. You're video is so awesome and you're so cool Michael.
Those green weapons are such a minor set back, but a little sharpie action fixes that.
Damn I still say how dare they make my firefly and viper a target exclusive.

The first time I saw Beachhead in the cartoon my thought was: "That´s Megatron´s voice" (because in the latin american dub Beachhead and Megatron had the same voice actor) so I started looking at him as a dangerous character XD
On another note his best episode was the one where they promoted shipwreck and the other 2 joes.
very cool figure. I wish we could get them easier over here too. I did cave and pick up Firefly and also got the Baroness but minus the bike on 2ndary market . she was almost x2 retail price ! . only one I'm missing that I care about is the Viper . thankfully they released the trooper as a standard figure and though it is missing one rifle and goggles and the arm band I don't mind least I can buy a few at reasonable prices. I do wonder if they do a regular release Beachhead will it come with the more regular looking gun and a satchel with ammo clips I don't really see how they could take stuff away from the figure without loosing some that iconic look
Very Entertaining, as always, Michael!!! Beachhead and Duke are my favorite Joes always! I have just about every version of each one. I had to go to Mercari to get the Classified Beachhead. It cost me $40.00 plus $8.00 for shipping ($48.00, should have led with that, Ha!) It really is a shame that these figures are so difficult to find at retail!!! But, none of them seem to be "Peg-Warmers" because you never see them out in the wild in my area!!!! Thanks again for another fine review!!! Yo Joe!!!! Peace Always!!!!
Great Review as always. I was surprised when you said that the Target exclusives were unavaliable in Canada. In Brazil, Hasbro released Beachhead, Cobra Trooper, Roadblock and Baroness... But we don't know when the second wave will be released here...

@@tycondrius23 in Brazil you could get them in the official Hasbro online store called Toysnet and some toy stores were selling them like the regular pieces.

For 2 handed on the pistol, put one hand on top of the slide like he’s racking it back.
I keep checking the Toys R Us website and they have his listing up, but it's sold out for now

Awesome figure! Beachhead was always a favorite! With how awesome the details on the figure I think it's strange there is no attention to the weapons. The gun being all green 👎 and some silver on the blade of the knife would have been great!
Actually found this Target employee exclusive. The backpack barely stays on him. I found most of the backpacks fit poorly on these figures.
Really enjoyed this review! For the time being this is as close as I will get to this figure. Like many others, I refuse to pay ebay prices for this. There is hope thou...I recently read that the Cobra Island figures will be re-released possibly later this year in the standard run. Hopefully Hasbro will fix there horrendous distribution issues by that time. Not getting my hopes up thou.
hope that is true. we have seen the trooper get released as sorts, so maybe the Cobra Island one with get slight redeco and get called a officer but have the same stuff
