That Warpath Eclipse looks like she could star in an eighties low-budget action flick. She's on leave from Action Force and goes back to her home town only to discover some bad guys have taken over the town. Someone close to her gets killed by said bad guys. On goes the battle gear. On goes the war paint and one by one she cleans up the town.
That should have been the plot of the last Rambo film. Return to the town he messed up in part 1 and take out the gang who's taken it over. Would have been a nice redemption arc.
@@theflyingninja1 I love that idea! That would have brought Rambo full-circle. Too bad Brian Dennehy has passed away because I would love to see Rambo and Teasle one more time. Maybe even working together after realizing they both pushed each other too far last time
Nice top 10 video! Perfect timing as I just made my first AF purchase (v2 SGT Slaughter and a couple weapon packs). Active duty service member and long time Joe collector. Just got completely sucked into the AF storyline/lore after some casual reading! Thanks for your service and hard work on this channel Tony! 👍🇺🇸
Great vid, I absolutely love this line. 10. Kill-Switch 9. Steel Brigade SDS 8. Swarm Sentry 7. Pandora 6. Kerak 5. Eclipse 4. Condor 3. Bone Collector 2. Trigger 1. Blowback Honourable Mentions Garison Cavalry (We need more) Desert Rat
I agree 100% with Trigger. I might be biased because I am a large guy with a red beard and I spent about five years packing the M249 around. He looks like the picture that would come up if you googled “badass delta guy with m249”.
10. Blowback 9. Killswitch 8. Garrison Calvary 7. Eclipse 6. Infantry Commando 5. Wasp Raider 4. Bone Collector 3. Pandora 2. Night Ops Steel Brigade 1. Kerak For me, Kerak takes the top spot. He just looks like a warrior, the type of man you don't look at twice. The fact he goes into battle with a short barrel shotgun, a 1911, an axe and a bowie style knife (with no spare ammo for either firearm no less) just seals the deal that he is a badass who wants to get closeup with his enemies, and see the look in their eyes as he strikes them down. Yeah, just a complete badass. Also, I gave mine the pointing hand from the series 2 Sgt. Slaughter so he can direct his troops on the battlefield. The skin tone is a perfect match.
Trigger is actually what got me back into collecting action figures. I seen him on Instagram and got curious. And decided to buy one. I was hooked from there.
My top 10: 1. Trigger (this figure is so badass, I was stoked when they released this one) 2. Infantry Commando (I am a sucker for Desert figures plus the camo pattern just livens this figure up so much) 3. Warpath Eclipse (I love the tattoos and black face paint, she looks ready for battle at all times) 4. Bloody Pandora (love the hair and scar on the face, she fits in perfect with my Dreadnoks) 5. Kerak (reminds me of the guy from God of War, his look is amazing) 6. Wasp Raider (This Botcon Exclusive was my first Action Force figure so it holds nostalgia) 7. Swarm Horde (The translucent red just looks so good) 8. Blowback (He is so underrated, this figure is a home run like Trigger) 9. Night Ops Steel Brigade (Amy night ops trooper is a welcome addition plus it is nice to have the Steel Brigade amongst my GI Joe figures as well) 10. Killswitch (another awesome female addition to the line with a kickass name, I always thought Killswitch was a cool Name even before this was released mostly due to the metal band Killswitch Engage)
When I first saw Trigger. I thought was man this is action forces version of Rock n Roll. To me, he looks like they took a real-life operater and shrunk him down. Such a nice figure
I think I’d have to agree with your number 1 Tony - I’ve always been drawn to the design of Trigger - I recently picked up the Swarm Horde Trooper - it’s my first Valaverse figure of 2023 - only because I’m currently looking to return to work - otherwise I’d be buying a lot more! - can’t wait for the Glow In The Dark Swarm and Sniper Blowback and all the figures of 2024!
Great list Tony. The amazing thing is the quality of the figures not on the list like Blowback, Killswitch, the Delta or Desert Troopers or the Steel Brigade or Swarm Troopers for example. I understand not wanting to include Desert Rat but seeing the reviews from various people he's gone down well and will be on a few top 10 lists.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos Tony. Damn good picks on your soon to be ever changing Top 10. I would've had a helluva time picking this list, but #1 would've been a draw between Kerrack, Trigger (in my mind, these two guys are related somehow) and the Night Ops Steel Brigade. Still can't choose between the 3! Keep up the great work!
My favourite is the delta trooper. I had been wanting some spec ops green guys for a long time and these are perfect. I prefer anonymous masked troops. I love the loadout from the vest, backpack, radio, and the smaller details like the painted multi tool and carabiner. The M4 looks a lot like our Canadian C7/C8 in terms of the placement of the green and black. I spend a third of the year in the snow so I can't wait for the winter figs for pictures and also can't wait for that sniper blowback.
I really dug this video, I own a couple of Action Force figures and can totally see what high quality figures they are, they're just not really within my personal aesthetic and space issues keep me from owning lots of them. But your obvious joy and love for these figures really shows in this video and that made it an excellent watch.
Thank you Tony for your great videos and also for introducing me to Action Force. I ordered my first two figures (Trigger & Sgt. Slaughter) and did a review on them on my channel and they are fantastic. I have now ordered from BBTS the re-issues of Bone Collector and Condor. I have just ordered the Desert Rat figure as well. I can't wait to get my figures in.
I love them all and just can't pick 10. These figures are friggin AWESOME and even though I'm living on a super tight budget, I will always find a way to get them (thank God we have more than one kidney). They are an absolute MUST HAVE for me! 😎👍
Agreed, Night Ops Steel Brigade is the best one so far. Great list. My favorite from the entire line so far is Desert Rat. Just a really cool figure and only missing a tan beret (like you wore at Joefest '22) to be considered aces complete
Great vid as always man..I just got warpath eclipse ordered finally yesterday..so very happy there..she was the only one I didn't have at least one of..I'm excited for the future too..the gitd tracer is maybe my number 1..or that sniper blowback or siege..just awesome stuff coming
I’m very grateful I had the chance to get the Swarm figure. I enjoy characters with tech helmets and armor, so I’m happy to support these type of figures!
My favorite has got to be the 'undercover' Condor. Reminds me a bit of Chuckles from Gi Joe but I like the open Hawaiian shirt sculpt better then the one we actually got from the Chuckles Classified release.
Amazing content as always!!! Thank you! Keep up all the bad ass work! Man idk how you did it! Lol I can’t pick a top 15. I like them all for different reasons. I still need a few because I jumped in late on this line. Let’s go vanguard!!!
Great List with no real faults. I hope Bobby continues to make some Special Deployment waves of rereleases. I desperately want Trigger and Pandora who have so far eluded me. As well as the earlier Swarm figures. Plus we really need a full rerelease of all the basic infantry bodies and gear packs. Including the backpack and satchel set. Half the fun of Valaverse figures is cobbling together your own characters and figures.
So much reuse on these figures but that’s to be expected & understood. All toy lines do that for good reason. In a military line, sharing same uniforms & gear makes sense. Action Force uses their stuff wisely & to great effect. I’d put Desert Rat & Duster as top picks, real world soldiers in toy form can’t be beat. The unique characters are very cool but the basic troopers are great to build an army & customize as you like. I like that & I like the value Valaverse gives the customers.
For me number one is Warpath E...cayse for being the best-looking female figure I have in my army stuff. Oh, she will be in my top ten alright. In the top five for sure. But then this year's top ten might be female-heavy. Legends seem to only put effort into their girls. Sadly covergirl was disappointing. Pandora will be making that list too. But Eclipse became my favorite character even.
10. Action Force Declassified Gear set. (I know its not a figure but it enabled me to make a comic accurate Gung Ho). 9. Garrison Calvary 8, Night Ops Steel Brigade 7, Desert Rat (No I'm not playing favorites) 6. Wasp Raider 5, Cover Ops Condor 4, Kerak 3, Killswitch 2, Warpatch Eclipse 1, Bloody Pandora
Since I only have two figures from Valaverse (so far); I'm going to go with Kerak and Eclipse! I'm just blown away on the detail and accessories! So much so, I'm staying away from Classified as much as possible from here on out.
Great list. I don’t know if I could even make a Top 10. It changes all the time. I guess that’s the downside of only putting out the best figures. Although Trigger, Condor, Warpath Eclipse, Desert Rat, and Blowback always seem to be on the list.
Is there a video that explains how the Licencing model works? Since I know ActionForce is not GIJoe, but I would have thought Hasbro still owned it via Palitoy - was a deal struck between Hasbro-Valarverse?
Hello Friend, Where Could I buy or preorder the new veicule the Action Force Valaverse? and What is the correct scale in vehicules for the figures of 6 inch?
Is it just me or is trigger just monkey wrench from the dreadnoks. Replace the wife beater and camo pants with a red vest and ripped blue jeans. I can't be the only one that sees this
You are spot on with your list, and picking you to be a part of this line is one of the best decisions Bobby could have made. You have brought more fans to the line than you realize. That was the biggest reason I attended Valacon the last 2 years.

Both Analog toys and retroblasting have wonderful episodes!

Great ten of the best Valaverse Action Force video, Tony.
My top four would be...
1. Desert Rat.
2. Pandora.
3. Trigger.
4. Eclipse.
When I first saw Trigger. I thought was man this is action forces version of Rock n Roll. To me, he looks like they took a real-life operater and shrunk him down. Such a nice figure
“Big fu** off gun” is my new favorite phrase

Yep, it's official, Valaverse has gotten their hooks in me. Bought the Vanguard a couple of weeks ago and now I'm on my 3rd order.

I'd love to get into this line but all the good stuff is never in stock. The secondary market is scarce and if u find something prise is$80

I have missed out on this line and regret not picking them up on pre order
So much reuse on these figures but that’s to be expected & understood.

This would be a hard list to assemble. But that’s Delta Trooper with the heavy weapons gear pack 🤌🏽
great channel, love your reviews
You got a cool list there Tony and I gotta to agree on number one .let also reminds me of American sniper dead on for the look of him as well.
I think they should focus on military style, tanks, choppers, buildings etc
10. Action Force Declassified Gear set. (I know its not a figure but it enabled me to make a comic accurate Gung Ho).
9. Garrison Calvary
8, Night Ops Steel Brigade
7, Desert Rat (No I'm not playing favorites)
6. Wasp Raider
5, Cover Ops Condor
4, Kerak
3, Killswitch
2, Warpatch Eclipse
1, Bloody Pandora
Yeah, Trigger is my guy, great pick.
Since I only have two figures from Valaverse (so far); I'm going to go with Kerak and Eclipse! I'm just blown away on the detail and accessories! So much so, I'm staying away from Classified as much as possible from here on out.
Grandes figuras, me encantan, saludos desde México
Tony, you need the current Waspinator toy to display along side your botcon wasp raider!
Great list. I don’t know if I could even make a Top 10. It changes all the time. I guess that’s the downside of only putting out the best figures. Although Trigger, Condor, Warpath Eclipse, Desert Rat, and Blowback always seem to be on the list.
A good list. Mine of course would be a bit different and that’s ok cause we all like things at different levels and ways. But a fun video and thanks.
The dorkside exclusive is a Fanfreakintastic figure!!

Hasbro let go of the trademark in the early 2000s. The name Action Force is now legally owned by Valaverse.
Great video

great list Tony, but you have number 1 wrong ;) it is so... Eclipse
Trigger is my #1 then Desert Rat at # 2 sorry us ginger have to stick together
That Botcon wasp raider is meant to be a nod to Waspinator I presume?
I gotta ask, wha vehicles can you put these guys in?
Hey, AT, is "Big fuck off gun" an official miliary designation?
Gah! I came to the line late. I'm never gonna find a Trigger.
Can u get these in Australia?
In my mind Trigger sounds just like Macho Man Randy Savage.
Someone tell me about the valaverse toys?? Please!
