Sarah trying to speak some French... sounds so cute! It's the beauty of learning a new language.
It is! Which ones are you learning? 😊
@@EasyFrench I'm trying some French now. That's why I watch these amazing videos.
She is so cute
I love Judith! She is like great wines.
C’est bien de voir d’autres montrer leur vulnérabilité dans leur quête du français. Ça te fait sentir que tu n'es pas seul. Merci pour la superbe vidéo
Oui, l'apprentissage d'une langue est un parcours semé d'embûches... 😅
You guys should do this more. Make it a series! Love it!
Why not! 😊
French And Spanish are both very beautiful. I like Italian and Japanese too. Language learning is so fun and enjoyable.
My native language is Farsi/Persian, Hazara dialect. So I can easily pronounce R in French or in Spanish.
Judith y Sara son Guapísimas , me encanta la paciencia y lo divertido que se la pasan compartiendo estas lenguas hermanas
no exageres, parece que has visto pocas mujeres en este mundo para decir que estas mujeres son "guapísimas"

Ce sont deux très belles langues! 🤗
Judith hablando español! Es la onda
This episode perfectly exemplifies perhaps *the* key difference between spoken French and Spanish, and by extension, French and the other Romance languages; namely, the pesky fact that French is non-phonetic and therefore contains loads of linguistic traps to ensnare the unsuspecting learner when it comes to pronunciation. At least with Spanish, you can get on board with pronouncing what you see on the page from day 1. However, if you think French is tough for the non-native learner when it comes to silent letters and pronunciation, just try a bit of English! As a native anglophone, I feel for the learner when, for example, it comes to pronouncing “slough”, “rough”, “cough”, “bough”, “dough”, “ought”, “through”, “thorough”, “hiccough”, “hough”, and “lough”! 😳
It’s not that hard to learn these words in English. I’m a native speaker of Portuguese (from Brazil) but I’m fluent (or almost) in English and developing my fluency in French, and even if french is a Romance language as well as portuguese is, and even with my understanding of English (because surprisingly french and English share a lot), it took me greater difficulty to achieve a satisfactory level in French than in English, and English was my first foreign language (they say the second foreign language is easier, it was not. I’m still struggling)
@@caroline.saldanha Oh, I disagree. The second foreign language in my case was *far* easier. I spent a good decade trying to master French. It took me half that time to get Spanish. I’m a year into Italian, and because I’ve got 2 other Romance languages, this means I’m going to get Italian in half the time again. I *will* say this, though; I have some trouble mixing Italian and Spanish, as to these native Anglophone eyes and ears they look and sound so similar; whereas I’m able to keep French in a completely separate box, as it seems so different in many ways compared to Italian/Spanish, notwithstanding the Latinate provenance of all 3 languages.
@@titteryenot4524 I understand where you're coming from. As a native of portuguese, I can easily understand when someone speaks in spanish and even have hold my own through a conversation where I was speaking portuguese and the guy was speaking spanish. I have no knowledge of spanish whatsoever, at best I speak portunhol or portunish. Italian is not that absurdly hard to understand for me, but French is making me work, I'm always filling the gap with english or portuguese. I had to drop my French course, so I could study for my OAB exam (similar to Bar Examination), then my approval came and now I have no time between the efforts to build my career and my postgraduate course. Now i'm just trying not to lose what I have learnt. In the end, based on my knowledge of romance language, english is not a difficult language to learn (just one of the motives it's the universal language), of course there's some tricky words and spelling, but in general it's ok, but when you compares it to romance language (and here I put portuguese in evidence), portuguese it's just that hard. there's so much grammatical rules and its exceptions. French is a lot similar in general, just as much conjugation and lots of unnecessary rule, that even the language itself can't respect. I never had a difficulty so great in english that i couldn't understand in due time, apart from my doubts with the "should I use 'I have done' or 'I did'?" "Should I put In, on or at?", I'm completely ok. Most of my mistakes is due the fact that I don't use my english often and tends to forget.
@@caroline.saldanha Don’t worry about “I have done” and “I did” and when to use them in English; the grammarians will probably shoot me, but they are really interchangeable in practice. “I have done the work” or “I did the work”; “I have done the washing-up” or “I did the washing-up” can both be used in English regardless of *when* you actually did them. It seems to be a bit stricter in, say, Spanish on this score, where “Lo hice” and “Lo he hecho” seem to *not* be interchangeable so much, and should be used depending on timescales involved and how attached to the present they are. Of course, in French, in the spoken language the only way to say this is “Je l’ai fait”, so on this score with French, this is one less thing to worry about! One of the main issues (perhaps *the* salient issue) for native Anglophones learning Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and all the other Romance languages, is the extensive use of the pesky subjunctive; I have spent more time on this aspect than any other when learning these languages, as quite simply the use of the subjunctive in spoken English has virtually been rendered obsolete, so it means a whole new batch of verb conjugations need to be learned, whereas in English we simply tend to use the infinitive and take the easy way out! “I want you to do that”; simple. “Je veux que tu fasses ça”; or “Quiero que hagas eso”; not so simple; at least for native English-speakers.
English is difficult to learn but it can be mastered through tough thorough thought though.
He aprendido también el español a través de Easy Spanish y ahora estoy trabajando mi francés por Easy French. La pronunciaciôn va a ser un poco complicado en el princípio pero a lo largo del proceso de escuchar, exponerse, y practicar, se puede estar acostumbrado a pronunciar las palabras.
Congratulations to the easy French team!!! I must say this episode I truly enjoyed and the patience a teacher must have to help a student pick up the right pronunciation. Tre magnifique!!!😃😃😃
Vengo del canal de Easy Spanish y me ha encantado este video. Creo que Sara lo hizo muy bien. Se nota que tiene un don de lenguas. He dejado el aprendizaje del francés por el momento, pero tengo muchas ganas de seguir aprendiéndolo en el futuro. Saludos!

Superbe vidéo!! J'espère que vous avez passé un bon moment à Barcelone ✌️
Vous êtes vraiment super 🤗
Hahahaha she's so cute, she also learns pretty fast and can understand French from Spanish perspective! Not bad! 😆 I guess it's an advantage to be able to speak one romance language, as it is much easier to guess what the other language speaker is trying to say... I'm mainly learning French, but still can't get most words when people speak Spanish, although I learned basic Spanish too 😔
Sara, lo has hecho muy bien. Como ha sido todo de oído y memoria más aún.

Not as smooth as Mexican Spanish, in my experience. Of all the individual Spanish-speaking nations, for me, Mexico is easily the easiest to understand.

What's the difference between vivre and habiter?
I'm Italian but I speak Spanish Catalan Portuguese, and in the future I would like to learn French cz is easy for a romance native speaker coz we share a lot of vocabularies similar to each other, maybe I'm wrong 😅
TASI DELEG to you all with have a nice day la 🙏👍🙋‼️
Interesting. It seems like spanish and french aren’t mutually intelligible. I’m trying to learn both at the moment and I think I expected them to be a bit more similar.
This makes me wonder whether the differences between spanish and french are bigger or smaller than the differences between swedish and german? (I am a native swedish speaker who’s learning german since 6+ months). I’ve been really amazed by just how similar swedish and german are in terms of vocabulary, but the grammar is a completely different story. With that being said, I could not understand spoken german until I started to study the vocabulary actively, and I think the mutual intelligibility between swedish and german is relatively small.
They are indeed similar in many way but if you only speak one of them you will most likely notice the similarities when you read them. If your speak French and only hear someone speak Spanish you might catch a couple words here and there but you won’t really understand.
French is my first language and if I hear an Italian speak. I won’t understand anything. But if I read Italian I’ll understand a lot more ;)
@@EliasBac people always seem to assume that Dutch and German are interchangeable, but it took me years to learn German, to be able to read and speak and listen and write it, as a dutch person...
The only romance language that Spanish is truly mutually intelligible with is Portuguese, in particular Brazilian Portuguese because the pronunciation style is even more similar. Italian is also a lot closer to Spanish than French, but not as much as Portuguese.
2:26 Sarah, elle est si sincèrement surprise avec „tengo“ dans „j'ai“ :))
Adorable 😊
