You're a young guy, so I can see why you'd ask that, but what's the alternative ? Mouth off back ? Then he says "get off the bike, I'll fuck you up", then you get off the bike.
Now, you either kick his ass and uphold your "pride", or lose the fight - both of which will result in cops and confrontation. Possibly fines, jail time in some cases (who knows if he has a weapon), and maybe your bike gets wrecked, and you also create enemies. Plus, he was wrong anyway. I get it, the kids like bikes and excitement, but you don't let kids touch a motor vehicle if you get right down to it. What if his hand slipped off the clutch and it ran over one of the kids feet ? Now what ? Sorry for the lengthy response, but I've done a lot and seen a lot, and in the end, it's just not worth it. I get, "FUCK THAT MOTHER FUCKER, DON'T LET PEOPLE TALK SHIT LIKE THAT. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT COPS, CALL THEM", but like I said, it's just never worth it in the end if you can avoid it. One little incident like that can honestly ruin your entire life if it goes really wrong.

Although I've seen some assholes) but once you get used to them you will enjoy it! (I'm 14 and both my dad and mom support me with buying a bike! Yeah yeah...I'm Young i know...but I've been been on a bike with my dad since I was 10. Firstly we were just driving around the village and now...we went to Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Austria and were planing to visit Belgium and France this year. So yeah...I'm young but I also know a bit about this)

1st clip the older guy needed to chill or end up getting head butted. The son, assuming he's the son, was handling it the right way. 2nd clip. I can see it from both sides. I've revved my bike and car and scared cows that ended up running. Even into and through a fence. The driver just needed to ask the rider to not do it politely. He didn't need to follow the rider.

Only idiots on bikes assume that it is acceptable to drive between lanes. Responsible and respectable bikers know that this is a very dangerous habit and do avoid it at all costs.
Its legal is some states. And stops the risk of being rear ended at stop lights. "Avoid it at all costs" nope if I see somebody in my mirror about to hit me I'm going in between those lanes legal or not. Its actually something that they teach at motorcycle training

It is dangerous at the very least and very disrespectful to other drivers. You, on a motorcycle or a bicycle, are only one vehicle and you only have the rights of one vehicle. Just because you can maneuver between other vehicles does not give you any kind of special right to do so. You are so very exposed on a motorcycle that it is ridiculous to take the risk of breaking the law and risking your life and the lives of your passengers. Please do be careful and thoughtful so you can continue to enjoy the unique experience of riding a motorcycle and not becoming another casualty. Have fun, be safe and always be smart.

That's one car-length less in a traffic jam. I get the dangerous part, it's a stupid thing to do when traffic is moving at the speed limit, but when everyone is moving slow, there is nothing dangerous about it, except the dumbasses who don't use their mirrors when changing lanes because they think indicators mean right-of-way/priority (don't know the correct english word)

Because it's not a big deal its 5 mph more, not like he's going 40 or something. Besides have you ever been on a freeway/highway? Literally everyone is at least 5 mph over the speed limit. Yeah, it's a residential area, I live in the same type of area, 30 mph when the speed limit is 25, is NOT a big deal.

Edit: When i was in school i took drivers ed. A cop was one of the instructors and he said its fine to go 5 over. Most people do it helps keep traffic going.

Being a rider myself: I love it when you go ask someone why they cut you off, and they immediately start accusing you of the wrong doing, I don’t even deal with those type anymore. As soon as they raise their voice to escalate the situation, I confiscate the mirror they didn’t use, and remove myself from the situation ✌️
