My very first job in the beauty industry 17 years ago was with The Body Shop in Australia and meeting Annita Roddick has been a highlight of my working career so far. Great video! Thank you (as always) for the obvious effort and time you take sharing your knowledge.
Did anyone else spend half the video looking at how amazing Caroline's skin is? And, Caroline, if I had your lid space I'd been wearing full glam everyday. Thank you for the nostalgic trip down memory lane, I forgot how good The Body Shop's products are!
I’d love to see Caudalie overview! Especially with their new Vinopure range. There’s a toner with salicylic acid that I’m very curious what you’d think of 😊
indygo19 I’ve been trying the new vinopure range - they do a sample kit on their website with the toner, serum & moisturiser. The serum & moisturiser both have the added benefit of niacinamide. I’ve been suffering with acne lately, which is new territory for me, but this seems to be helping. I’d be keen to hear Caroline’s opinions & recommendations 😊
A trick I've learned from having sensitive skin. Put your lotion on (preferably at least a little rich). Then let it dry down *before* doing spf (I go on to do deodorant and then brush my teeth, so not waiting too long, just a couple minutes). For some reason, a wet/damp skin makes spf burn more for me. Also, fragrance free helps a lot for me!
Of all the dermatologist channels and reviews, yours is absolutely AMAZING! So sincere, genuine, realistic. Running out of words. Buying products only and only when I listen to your reviews. Love them ♥️ Huge greeting from Europe. Thank you 🙏

I used to work at The Body Shop back in 2015 when I was 17. It was my first ever job and I absolutely loved it. I was a fan of TBS for a few years before I started there and I used their vitamin E range for a while because I had a really dry skin. In wintertime, even the most hardcore vitamin E range products weren't enough to bring my skin back to life. And then, there it was, the oils of life range launched that year in October or November. We all got the intensive cream of the range to try. Because I hated the smell, I didn't use it. Until my skin was so dry again, that this product was my only hope HAHA! I used it and my skin looked much better after one use. After using it for a few weeks, my skin looked like it had never looked before. Now, three years later, I still love TBS and use it regularly. Obviously my skin changed a bit and I've got a bit more money to spend on good skincare, but TBS has such good products. Even though I don't work for them anymore and I used many other brands the last few years, I'm still an advocate for their products. Family and friends still ask me if I got any recommendations for them. I've never had anyone telling me that the product I recommended them didn't work. The Oils of Life range is still one of my favourites, same as the vitamin E range, the Camomile range and the spf50 essence. There is only one range I never really got, the drops of youth range. They always told us this was the anti-aging range we should sell to people 30+/40+. I got a few of those products to try out, but they didn't do anything for me so I gave them to my mother. I never could see any change in her skin. That's literally the only range I never recommend.
Honestly, I always walk past TBS thinking nothing will be there for serious skin care. I am driving to the nearest store now with a list as long as my arm. You are too good at explaining skin care for my credit. Loved it!
Oh Caroline, just when I thought I couldn’t love you any more. I worked for TBS in the late 90’s and have always loved their products but you don’t hear many people talk about them online. Thank you for this brand review, thank you for championing the brand, I’ve got lots of things to try.
I can also highly recommend the aloe vera cream cleanser and toner - these with the chamomile butter honestly transformed my 30yo acne covered skin after trying EVERY expensive/high end brand solutions! x
Hi Caroline,my daughter was a manager in a Body Shop store in Perth. She loved it.She also managed the Cork store here in Ireland. They are a good company to work for.Ehen at University my daughter worked for many high end brands and The Body Shop was one of the best employers. That means alot when I am spending my money on skincare.Thank you as usual. You are looking fabulous.💗
Ah, Caroline! Thank you for allowing me to re-visit my youth, and many lunchtimes spent browsing the first U.S. Body Shop at 53rd. and Madison Ave. in NYC. Passion Fruit cleansing gel, Sage & Comfrey Open Pore Cream and DEWBERRY were staples in my 20s. Must go back for another browse as it's literally been decades since I've used any Body Shop products.
The Vitamin E gel moisture cream is just delicious! I love it as well as the eye cream. Also a huge fan of the camomile cleansing butter. And the Vitamin E range race mist. I still miss the Vitamin E oil serum, it was soooo nice. Cleanser from the same range is very gentle by the way.
Caroline Hirons I heard the same story from one of the girls on the Clinique counter many many years ago!! I knew after using the 3 step that it wasn’t for me, it was awful, and hearing that story made me so glad I didn’t carry on using it!!
Awwww, Dewberry!!! ❤️ The Body Shop was my first foray into learning about skin- and haircare and they will always have a special place in my heart! I’ve been using their products off and on since they 80s, since I was a little reincarnated hippie soul. Love you, TBS! Wish you would bring back that amazing vanilla perfume oil...it was my favorite. RIP, Anita! ❤️😊
I so appreciate the sore acne comment. Since I had my third child I've been dealing with really painful hormonal acne. Never comes to a head and throbs under the skin. I still need hydration though. Just got a voucher and I know what I'm gonna be spending that on. Thanks Lady Hirons big hugs from Dublin 😘😘
I wish they the Body Shop would bring back their Ananya fragrance, it was just beautiful, wore it in the 80s and have not found any other product that smells similar.
strawberrycupcake I remember that, my mum and I wore it and always got asked what it was when wearing it. I used to stock up each year in the Christmas old stock sales but I wish it would come back xx
Also their Honey shampoo. It was fabulous. Why do they do this, remove products that seem to be popular. We all loved the Honey shampoo and conditioner in my family.
I’m so glad that you’ve said everything I was thinking about each product. I’ve recently just left The Body Shop as I’ve just qualified as a beauty therapist, but I’m glad I was advising people correctly. Thanks Caroline!
The two eye creams/gel and the Rose mask contain denatured alcohol. I am gutted. I stopped using the Skin Defence because the second ingredient is denat alcohol which makes little sense. Even the E Vitamin SPF lotion contains alcohol.
Caroline aren't you just bloody fab im 25 and have since lockdown started to really try to understand skincare. (Hair is usually my thing) i have multiple issues and trying to self diagonse work out what my skin is and still have no idea what im doing what i need or what blooming order to do it in. You are frankly the only person ill listen to as your to the point cut the crap and get to it. X
"I say we, like there's ten of us! *chuckles to self*...I mean..ME! " and that is why I am a huge fan and lover of yours! Great video. Glad to know some of the products I have are beloved. Will def give the tea tree mask another go around. I didn't realize it was that gentle and effective, I'm so used to strong clarifying masks it didn't even dawn on me that it could just be a more gentle formula, that is slow and steady. Keep up the good work!
I LOVE the Vit E night oil. It’s similar to but better than the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil. I got the British rose toner for free in an offer recently. Seems really nice but don’t know if it’s actually doing anything. X
I would LOVE to see a conversation with Caroline and Wayne Goss. They are both so intelligent, clever and funny that they would end up finishing each other’s sentences 😊
i worked at BS until a few weeks ago. the Vitamin C range has an extremley low concentration of Vit C. the main ingredients are water and alcohol denat. and fragrance to make it smell like it would have a higher level of Vit C. i reccomend the pixi Vit C range instead.
I have become a big fan of The Body Shop. I love the Camomile butter, I prefer the oil but the bottle leaks every time so I’ve had to stop using it. I absolutely love the SPF 50, just used it in Greece and it was fab, convinced my boyfriend to use it everyday now! Very interested in trying the new mask ranges!
Snowdrop85 I have emailed them several times about the bottle for the cleansing oil, they need to change the packaging. I’ve had several messes happen when I travelled overseas. I too switched to the butter!
Thanks Caroline for this update...I did put The Body Shop on the back burner for a few years with all the overflow of targeted skincare brands. this video has encouraged me to go check these out and revamp my skincare cabinet.
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I have oily / combination skin and love seeing how many product options there are in the body shop for me, please keep videos like this coming you skincare queen! X
Not been in the shop for years but are exfoliants not used anymore,I used to use the Japanese Cleansing Grains? Guilty of using soap & water & an exfoliant mitt on my face, not a make up wearer but I love your empties & all the info on skin care & make up. You are very easy to watch & make the viewer feel part of the show ,I did get my son some Elemis & he has never looked back!
Thank you! Just started watching your videos. Not really a make up user so never taken skin care seriously. Already addicted to your videos and think body shop is where I start! Confused so general question, the spfs you are recommending. The bottles and tubes always seem small. Are these face only? So much smaller than my massive bottle of Nivea spf 30 from the supermarket so I’m missing something I think?
Elderflower eye gel was my first eye product I brought when I was 16... 🤣 I can't believe 20 yrs on they still make it.. Think I'm going to pop in there soon! And Caroline I wish I had you shopping with me for Skin care... ☺️
Oh my god.. I as absolutely gutted when they discontinued the nutroganics cleansing to oil balm and my skin broke out so badly! SO so happy there is a great alternative now! Immediately going to try it! Thanks Caroline!
As always lovely, Thks! Would love if while reviewing products could talk a little bit about the ingredients and formulation since as you always say formula is key. I always worry about the artificial fragance they add to all or almost all their products.
Finally a code I can use these on these fancy masks! Thank you so much! As a side note though, I hated the Ethiopian Honey mask. It felt lovely on the skin, but once I was washing if off it was really soapy and my skin felt kinda tight. The Japanese Matcha is hands down the best thing I've ever put on my face
Loved this, thanks for the clarity on the ranges Caroline! I think I need the aloe cream!! Are the spf’s ok for a 4 year old? Prob a daft question but I’m always wary of what creams to put on my daughters skin x
Love the Camomile Cleansing Butter. Think I’m on my 11:th tin. And don’t know how many ppI have turned on to using it ;) Pure love. Looove the “Lime Massage Oil” that has another name I can’t recall right now. But that smell... just bliss. For the Drops of Youth line... what is all the Alcohol Denat. about?? You can instantly feel the massive content of drying alcohol - and to put that in a line that is supposed to slow down premature aging?? I have never been more disappointed in a product in my life as when I bought the DOY serum.... felt like half the content was alcohol. With a no return policy in Sweden, that was £45 right down the bin.... The massively scented and drying alcohol in skincare doesn’t sit right with me. This includes some of the masks you showed. I got 5 different ones at home. I’m really not sensitive at all - but the Rose mask and Accai mask stings my face :( But the Canomile line and a lot of the body products I love with a passion!
I loved seeing this thorough review Caroline, your expertise and passion shines through! I work in one of TBS' Australian stores and have been using their skincare for 7 years now. I swear by the Himalayan Charcoal mask too, after the first time I used it I felt my nose where there's usually bumpy build-up, and literally moaned a little bit because of how smooth it was hahah. I use the Drops of Light cleanser at night when I can take my time and enjoy the experience, because I'm obsessed with how creamy it feels. The Tea Tree Daily Solution is my cure for the bacterial acne that always dotted my forehead. It didn't clear up my chin and jawline so I figure that's hormonal acne, but it did clear up my forehead and cheeks within 2-3 weeks. And I swear by the Oils of Life Sleeping Cream. I have combination/acne-prone skin so I always steered clear of the OOL, but my manager who has very oily skin uses the Sleeping Cream and said it gives her the anti-ageing benefits whilst also controlling her oil and I was like ??????? so I tried it and it is amazing!! So hydrating and it seems like all skin types can use it from the most oily to the most dry.
I love oil balm cleansers. I can’t be bothered with tubs of balm. Far rather a squeezy tube. I have used the boots botanics hydraburst cleansing gel which is a fab oil balm cleanser for a few years now since the original body shop one was discontinued. Gonna have to try this new one. 😉 Any thoughts on the Palmers facial skincare range?
What a fantastic review video, thank you! I am deciding whether or not to be a Body Shop at Home consultant and watching your vlog I'm thinking HELLS YEAH!!
have u heard of / tried Antipodes? their eye cream is 30ml and also make a great cleansing grape seed balm too! i think its a NZ or Aussie Brand :) would love to see a review or hear ur thoughts!
Hey Caroline, do you think the Vitamin E Overnight Serum in Oil is good for oily skin? On the website, it seems to be always out of stock, just wanted to know if they are discontinuing it?
love love this video but have a question sorry if its a longer time after you made it. I have eczema prone skin but that never breaks out fully in the summer, its a winter exclusive, although it can get inflamed mid summer, but at the same time my skin can be quite oily and I can get break outs of spots all year round that seem to be mostly hormonal but can have a random breakout at other times. Would I be better off trying first out of Aloe, Seaweed and Tree Tea ranges to not cause inflammation (although if it does its not a huge issue to me I always have hydrocortisone to hand to manage inflammation)? Im asking as I think for the bulk of the time Aloe might by too gentle and won't tackle the blackhead/spots but Tea Tree will be effective but a bit harsh for me?
Hi Caroline. I LOVE YOUR REVIEWS. Discovered Zelens and Votary through your fantastic video and written guides. Quick unrelated question...which camera do you use for your filming??? Its so clear and a pleasure to watch :) thank you in advance. Xxx
Hi I love the video till you mentioned the spf 50 bit, sorry. And here’s why The body shop spf 50 may be high but has one of the most photo unstable compounds out there - avobenzone. At no point during this video, was it mentioned that the only way this spf was going to provide anyone with a broad spectrum sun protection coverage- is if they reapply every two hours. It can’t be taken for granted that people do this, and even if they do- they must be made aware of this fact. Avobenzone degrades faster than you can say UVA . Also it contains Octocrylene- which has been banned in Hawaii for being reef unsafe. Again something that the Body Shop should have changed in their formula, especially if they want to keep their reputation up about being cruelty free. This negates that claim completely. The inci of the SPF50 Aqua/Water/Eau, Alcohol Denat., Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Octocrylene, Chlorphenesin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Cetearyl Glucoside, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Parfum/Fragrance, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Palmaria Palmata Extract, Carbomer, Linalool, Tocopherol, Limonene, Citronellol. Also limonene and citrinellol are potential irritants and have no place along with alcohol denat in a sunscreen. I hope that this is amended so that your large viewer base make an informed decision. Kind regards
Hi Caroline, Thank you for your videos and the content you post. I have a question regarding eye creams/gels. I personally want something for both lower and upper eye areas. I have found Dr. Dennis Gross' Ferulic +Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum to be the least irritating as it doesn't melt and cause my eyes to water or feel like it is running into my eyes, e.g. same thing happens with most SPF products if it gets anywhere near my eye area. When you present eye creams in your videos (and perhaps I have missed it if you have previously mentioned before), do you recommend for both upper and lower eye areas?
Thank you @ j h. I have had success with Cetaphil and its about $10 USD at the drug store. I looked up the Ultrasun brand and it appears to be UK and Switzerland based. In the U.S. here, and it priced on Amazon for about $50 and a couple other 3rd party retailers at around $25. I am hoping Caroline will perhaps clarify on eye creams in future videos if they are upper and lower lid specific. Thanks again.
Great review. Went to check out the OOL Oil in gel cleanser and skin Defence. Think cleanser will be first cleanse. But Oh my days the Skin Defence is amazing, best thinnest texture sun protection ever tried - just what i was looking for new season. Even my autistic son liked it and he's very sensory and hates usual sun protection. The 20% code was bonus and worked in-store 👍🏼😍
I think I used the elderflower gel as a teen as eyes were sensitive didn’t wear makeup back then bar tiny bit of mascara( I’m 41 in a couple of weels so it’s around a long time) I remember loving it though!!
You're just amazing! I get so excited when you publish anything, but especially a brand review. So thorough and non-technical and your descriptions of the products "this is for you if....." are so relatable and bang on and understandable and just very very helpful. I always have to watch at least a couple of times to absorb it all because all your videos are so jam-packed with useful little nuggets. Add the entertainment value of your delivery (rollin, rolling....) and a good time is had by all! Now, for my second listen whilst taking notes. Love from Canada 😀Oh, and one question if you have time, the skin on my face - a couple of months ago - developed a rash and some eczema that has been coming and going ever since. Maybe the alpha lipoic acid (though I'd used it before without issue) but definitely exacerbated by stress which I have quite a lot of just now. The dermatologist has me on a prescribed ointment that has helped but she says I can now start adding my own products back, one at a careful time. Would you think the aloe would be my best bet to start with? Thanks so much for everything you do XO
What's your opinion on the vitamin C range? I can see you've not mentioned it; is that for any particular reason? I want to introduce some Vit C into my routine but am unsure what to start with and would ideally like to start with an affordable brand like The Body Shop. Thank you for the review 😊
Hello Caroline. Thank you so much for doing the brand overview I have always wanted. The Body Shop will always have a special place in my heart, it has always been a link between me and my mother, and it was my first serious skincare brand. Thank you for the awesome video I appreciate all the work you do. I enjoyed all your recommendations. Might I add my own recommendation: The Vitamin E moisture serum (the regular serum in a pump, not the oil-serum in a dropper). My one true love, my holy grail, my first ever serum and the best I tried so far. So hydrating, refreshing and comfortable for oily skin. I think this serum is the reason my oily skin balanced out. Every time I reach the end of a bottle I instantly panic, I never want to be without this product. And finally I have one question: Do you think spf15 is adequate protection? When is 15 enough? And do we need to reapply? Thank you so much Caroline.
This was soooo helpful!! Just found your channel and LOVE IT! Out of the balm/cleansers for make up removal, which would you recommend for acne-prone skin?
Caroline what do you think of the oils of life facial oil? And could you please review the makeup revolution skincare line and compare it to the ordinary and they differ.
Great overview, thank you! My only criticism of the brand is they use a lot of fragrance in their products so I cannot use “leave in” products like creams as they will sting and irritate my skin. What do you think about their peel? I cannot decide whether the product dissolved my actual dead skin or is it something in the product that forms clumps “only” giving the impression that’s it’s your skin. What do you think?
Caroline, can you tell us more about what incis in a cleansing balm could strip more oil from the skin and a quick how & why etc? Thank you & cheers! Ps. Your looking glowing.
My local body shop sold out of my beloved camomile cleansing butter for a full week! Had to buy the oil which isn’t ideal when going abroad on holiday! Love the stuff though
Thanks for the video, I'm a Body Shop products addict, and I still discovered new products ! I wondered if the Silky Cleansing Oil is okay for a second cleanse (I'm 28 and don't use foundation ever or SPF daily) ? Love from France, bises
Hi Caroline, thank you for this brand overview! Are there any products in particular you would recommend for someone for rosacea? I am on a budget and am sick of buying product that I react to. Thanks!!
The skin defence protection essence is incredible. I'm 29 with oily/ acne prone skin and I have got through mutilple bottles of it without making my skin greasy or causing more spots. AH-Mazing!!!
Thanks Caroline! Educational as always. I wish you spoke a little more about the full ranges e.g. seaweed, vit c etc. Kinda feel like you only covered the newer and less well known products but fair enough! Thanks again x
Are the balm and oil suitable for acne prone skin? I usually use clinique TTDO balm and read somewhere the body shop one isn't suitable for acne. I'd love to try a cheaper balm
OMG thank you for such an excellent video, as all of yours are. Would the Vitamin E line be good for my mother, who is 81 and has dry skin at best, and EXTREMELY dry skin in winter (face dry and tight, hands cracking, and body itchy)? Thank you for all you do to help us all find great products!
I like the camomile cleanser balm too! I’m not sure if your contract allows you to compare it because this is a paid ad but but I’d love to know your thoughts on it vs Eve Lom or the Clinique take the day off??
In the past she has said she didn’t use the EL because it had mineral oil in it but has since reformulated. I seem to remember she thinks of the TBS balm as a less expensive dupe for the Clinique one. She has spoken very highly of both. I prefer the Clinique one when my skin is irritated because it’s fragrance-free.
I had forgotten dewberry, I used to be drenched in the stuff in the 80s - my sister was white musk. My Mum has beautiful skin and uses vitamin e cream to this day (I won't give her age here but I was a teen in the 80s so...). Also sorry now that I'm going down memory lane, thanks Body Shop - the green cream for balancing redness was great for many reasons but especially if I wanted to look sick to get off school!!! Gonna get in a Body Shop pronto to smell all these, can only imagine they are divine. p.s. Your hair is amazing Caroline, fab-u-lous.
A shout out to the Nutriganics line.. I use the serum as a amped up moisturiser. ... also the make up line has lovely blushes that i use constantly n colour crush lippie in a lovely mauvy red...
As someone how is new to skin care I was told to stare clear of products with fragrance is the body shop being so fragrant an issue or does it not affect the products?
I love these brand overviews so much & love Body shop products. Faves are the balm obvs! And I've just picked up my second pot of oils of life eye & I've not finished the first yet. Nearly 50 but it makes my under eye area look softer & more hydrated.
I did it with Weedborn CBD products!
I really like this CBD 😀
Nothing better than Caroline & a cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon x
do you have any recommendations from la roche posay? I'd love a brand overview of their range

Years ago when I worked in the Bodyshop, we would clean the floor with the tea tree toner. It worked surprisingly well.
We would clean counters with Clinique No. 4 LOL
We used the shower gels in the mop bucket and the perfumes to clean the counter top! I loved working at Body Shop.
I used to take my nail polish off with clinique no 4! 😂
We used the peppermint foot spray
Caroline Hirons I heard the same story from one of the girls on the Clinique counter many many years ago!! I knew after using the 3 step that it wasn’t for me, it was awful, and hearing that story made me so glad I didn’t carry on using it!!

Dewberry shower gel my daughter and I both loved it
I never really think of Body Shop for skincare. Thanks for the information, now next time I get to a store, I will know what’s what.
At 6:40 I was waiting for "Bob's your uncle" 🤣
I so appreciate the sore acne comment. Since I had my third child I've been dealing with really painful hormonal acne. Never comes to a head and throbs under the skin. I still need hydration though. Thank you Caroline for reminding me about The Body Shop and thank you for sharing with your sunny disposition. Stephanie 🙏💋
Love these overbrand reviews, it helps me out so much, as I get so overwhelmed with choice and so easily distracted by choice and ads etc
The two eye creams/gel and the Rose mask contain denatured alcohol. I am gutted. I stopped using the Skin Defence because the second ingredient is denat alcohol which makes little sense. Even the E Vitamin SPF lotion contains alcohol.
Thanks Caroline, have been humming "Rolling, rolling rolling" for the past hour around the house x
+1 to the Camomile Cleansing balm!! Obssesed with it :) And I use the empty tins for a ton of stuff too!!
Meg Truett Wayne Goss doesn't use perfumed skincare.
Terrance Xu and?
Hi Caroline. Thank you for this review. Any opinion on TBS Vitamin C range, please?
Erika Kovacs & their drops of youth range!
i worked at BS until a few weeks ago. the Vitamin C range has an extremley low concentration of Vit C. the main ingredients are water and alcohol denat. and fragrance to make it smell like it would have a higher level of Vit C. i reccomend the pixi Vit C range instead.
Aww I wish they still did the Dewberry range, if only for the nostalgia
The Frosted Plum range which comes out some Christmases is almost identical xx
Yep. Dewberry was their signature smell, as soon as u approached the Body Shop that gorgeous smell hit u. I miss how the Body Shop used to be
I always hit up the Dewberry oil at the dip bar! I miss the nineties...
Fuzzy peach was my scent. I have no idea why they got rid of their perfume oils. That would be so popular now.
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I have oily / combination skin and love seeing how many product options there are in the body shop for me, please keep videos like this coming you skincare queen! X
Brilliant video - love the body shop range and use the SPF 50. Your skin looks beautifully healthy and plump Caroline.
It’s been years since I shopped in Body Shop, great video, just bought a mask, eye cream and oil. Discount a bonus!
My favourite range is actually the aloe range. I love that they have a fragrance-free foam !
Is there anything in the pipeline for an acid range from The Body Shop? X
I love the body shop, I also used to work there! The chamomile cleansing butter is bomb! I think most of their products are fantastic :) great video!
I’m really not sensitive at all - but the Rose mask and Accai mask stings my face :(
But the Canomile line and a lot of the body products I love with a passion!
I absolutely love the skin defence SPF 50. It feels and smells amazing - not like a sunscreen at all! Definitely worth spending the bit extra for it!
Do you think the oils of life cleanser would be a first or second cleanseÉ Thanks!
What a fantastic review video, thank you! I am deciding whether or not to be a Body Shop at Home consultant and watching your vlog I'm thinking HELLS YEAH!!
Loved the video as it’s one of my favourite brands! What’s your opinion on their liquid peels?
have u heard of / tried Antipodes? their eye cream is 30ml and also make a great cleansing grape seed balm too! i think its a NZ or Aussie Brand :) would love to see a review or hear ur thoughts!
Xxx
Love this! Sharing away in my body shop at home group! Very informative and straight to the point! Perfect 👌🏻 Thank you Caroline.
Hi I love the video till you mentioned the spf 50 bit, sorry. And here’s why
The body shop spf 50 may be high but has one of the most photo unstable compounds out there - avobenzone.
The inci of the SPF50
Aqua/Water/Eau, Alcohol Denat., Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Octocrylene, Chlorphenesin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Cetearyl Glucoside, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Parfum/Fragrance, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Palmaria Palmata Extract, Carbomer, Linalool, Tocopherol, Limonene, Citronellol.
Ultrasun is the only spf that can go near my eyes as they are extremely sensitive. Give it a try
I use the camomile cleansing butter everyday day to remove my makeup. Gentle and effective. Thank you for reviewing TBS. 💜
Oh, and you look especially pretty here, please what is your lipstick? Thanks XO
Caroline, do you have a video reviewing Lush products? Thanks for this review.
No. Sorry!
This was soooo helpful!! Just found your channel and LOVE IT! Out of the balm/cleansers for make up removal, which would you recommend for acne-prone skin?
Caroline what do you think of the oils of life facial oil? And could you please review the makeup revolution skincare line and compare it to the ordinary and they differ.
blahdeblah blah yes please review the revolution makeup skincare range
The Vitamin E is an iconic bestseller one of the first ranges launched back in the 70’s 🤩
Don’t like the peels. Sorry! Xx
Caroline, can you tell us more about what incis in a cleansing balm could strip more oil from the skin and a quick how & why etc? Thank you & cheers! Ps. Your looking glowing.
Love this series. Please do Elemis next.
Yes! Especially that collagen balm
Ohhh yes Elemis!!
*Adds 20 items to Body Shop basket* Caroline!!!! 😩😍
My local body shop sold out of my beloved camomile cleansing butter for a full week! Had to buy the oil which isn’t ideal when going abroad on holiday! Love the stuff though
Thanks for the reminder I had forgotten the Body Shop is alive and well
Love the camomile butter, feel is similar with Clinique balm... On the other hand what foundation do you were? Looks very nice and natural.
Thanks!!
What a perfect accurate review 👏🏽👏🏽but. I want to ask are the ingredients worth good enough for anti aging??
Looking fabulous Caroline, thank you for this fantastic overview, would love to see you at Conference again x
Love TBS. Their makeup above all is SO underrated.
Ethical brand and Caroline Hirons approved...I am beyond ecstatic! Made my day, thank you!!!
YEEEESSS been waiting for this for ages, thank you Caroline, wonderful as always ❤️
Another fantastic video from Queen Hirons xxx
I loved the tea tree cool and creamy wash!a beautiful cream cleanser ,so sad it got discontinued 😔
I love these brand overviews so much & love Body shop products. Faves are the balm obvs! And I've just picked up my second pot of oils of life eye & I've not finished the first yet. Nearly 50 but it makes my under eye area look softer & more hydrated.
