Great presentation. It would be good to also hear something about what determines / documents (?) which/what signals go to recorded Tracks 1, 2, 3 and 4 (e.g. when recording to MOV/ProRes)
Hello, how to connect the h6 zoom recorder to this camera correctly? It is necessary that the recorder be used as a microphone. Looks like I need a CoMica CVM-DS-XLR cable, will it work as 2 channel stereo?
Hi, I don't know if my answer still is going to help you, since I see that you asked this 10 months ago... Short version: it should work. I haven't tried it with a double XLR, so I don't know if the sound will be strong enough, but yes, if you connect the output of your Zoom (maybe use the headphone output at maximum level), to both INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 of your camera, and you put the side buttons to INPUT 1 and INPUT 2, then it would normally record in 'stereo'. Of course your Zoom records in stereo in default, so you already have a stereo signal recorded plus the internal mic on the CX350 records in stereo on channels 3 and 4. That's why I only use a mini jack to 1 xlr and so to INPUT 1 only of my camera. I can then still decide to connect an external microphone to INPUT 2 of the camera, if I want to make sure that it records there, or I could connect that external mic to the Zoom first. Then, of course, you lose the stereo recording of the on board mics of your zoom... Also... if something goes wrong with the zoom (battery...) while recording, you lose all of your sound if the external mic was entered into the zoom and the output of the zoom into the camcorder. Hope this helped.
Hello! How does the camera focus in low light? And is the AF good enough for sports? I'm asking because I've read review staying that this is one of the main problems of this camera. Thanks!

I think that is accurate from my experience.
