I think the rock idea is a great thing to do! As a matter of fact I think that I will put my grandson on to finding the right ones and we can paint little Pokemons and cars and things on them and put them out in the neighborhood.
speaking of stickers- i bought 3 of your prints as stickers and they are awesome! the delicate design , you have to peel it carefully since its see through. But they lay down so cool looking. they scream band t-shirt.
Wow Pete, Once you put the black lines in, the painting just pops ! Love your style so much. Thank you for the information, it was great as always. I’ve done that with rocks too. It’s fun.
Acryllic markers! I only use them on tshirtss, jeans, tennis shoes , and purses. ANd my Canes. But now i can’t wait to try them on rock!! Graffiti is my life!! Right after watercolors, knitting, gardening, singing, and camping, and… *whew* y’know?!!? *grin*
That's a lot of things to do. 😂 As long as you are having fun, that's all that counts. 👍🏻 They worked great on the rock but I did put primer on it first. I don't know how it would work without it.
A few weeks ago at walmart I found acrylic brush pens by Sharpie, I got the 2 pack, a black and a white, and loved them so much I went back and got the 12 pack with colors. They feel exactly like you described these markers but I've never found any other colors by Sharpie except the 10 in the pack. That's cool that Arrtx at least has way more colors. But Sharpie didn't come with stickers 😆😆
Thank you! 🙂 I don't mind the work but I know I messed up these colors, some of the stickers stuck together, I dropped one on the floor and it got messy. That is a responsibility I cannot handle. 😂
The board was a great idea! Very suited to these paints. Great fun!!! Keep up the great work. (Laura...? I will look for her in the links.) Have a wonderful week!
I'm not just an artist I also enjoy coloring books by artists such as kerby rosanes. I think it's a wonderful way to support other artists who are extremely gifted and to give myself a place to just rest my mind and relax. The problem that I have with this set of markers is that they did not think this through in a way that an artist could potentially use and know what they're using. I can tell you the color is do not care to take the time to add stickers and try to figure out if they're using proper pigments or the quality of the paint so I would not trust these markers in a professional piece sadly. From what I understand they are not available open stock.
They need to work on a few things but they were great to use. If these are reliably lightfast then I'd be happy to recommend them so long as the person doesn't mind no open stock.
There's no such thing as a toxic art supply. One could NEVER ingest enough to be harmful. There are more "toxins" in baby food and injections than in art supplies. Yet we sure don't cry about that.
@@IllustrationsByPete they absolutely shouldn't. Only the wilfully ignorant would. It's absolutely impossible for any of these things to become toxic in humans at these quantities. Nothing is toxic and everything is toxic depending on its quantities. Drinking Too much water can be lethal. It's impossible to ingest enough baby food, paint, etc to be harmful. It's more dangerous to take Tylenol than to eat 60 tubes of cadmium paint. That's the point.
I'll never understand why ppl pay the price they do for these when one can simply go to any hardware store and purchase paint pens for about a quarter a pen. They won't come in a pretty colored box but then again, one can't painted with the fking box.

Hi Denise! I'm glad you enjoyed this. It's fun to make people wonder. 🙂

And I think the Sharpie ones are brand new. I just saw an ad for them on some art website. I'm glad they are branching out. 👍🏻
Stickers? Xtra work ? Oh no no no 😮
Your artwork is fabulous!

Come on Pete... what kind of color master are you... you should what sticker goes where 😆😛.
I must have screwed up something. 😂
@@IllustrationsByPete Neah, you did good, no worries!
I hope so. That was tough. 😂

I just put the link in. I was a little late on that. Lol. Thank you Linda! I hope you have a wonderful week as well. 🙂
Haha Mint is my favorite color 😂 cool pieces!
Thank you! It's good we all like different stuff. It's one of my favorite flavors, does that count? 😂
My dog is the one picking up rocks and tossing them in the river. I caught the weirdo doing that 😂
Pups know what to do. 😂

I think there are a lot of people crying about that, especially online. 👍🏻

I hear it all the time unless you want to eat your supplies or inhale them like helium you might just be ok 😆 sorry late to the party had to comment.
You're never late, our parties don't stop. 👍🏻

I just had to get a brown paint pen from the hardware store and it cost me $5. Where do you shop? 😂
@@IllustrationsByPete $5.00 dollars? Jesus Christ. Just the hardware store on the block. Cheap as hell.
Well maybe they got away with it because they were wood tones for touching up.
@@IllustrationsByPete nah. Red, blue, yellow, white, black, green. Just pulled them out. They are oil based. Maybe that's why. Uniball paint markers.
That could be why. I'll take a look.
