Otis Redding (Rock Version) - Everclear (1997 Never released Demo)

Original rock version of 'Otis Redding' by Everclear. Recorded in late 1996 or early 1997 during sessions for their album "Pure White Evil", the follow up to 1995's "Sparkle & Fade" which eventually was renamed "So Much For The Afterglow". This song did not make the final cut and was later masterfully redone as a soft ballad on their 2000 album "Songs From An American Movie Vol 1: Learning How To Smile". This version is one of my favorite Everclear songs and it straight up rocks!
