Looking a lot better but the last 2 days was 91 degrees. So we went from soaking wet to Hot. LOL

Good morning!! Your garden is looking fantastic!! I’ve never heard of criminal squash but I’d like to try it one day. I’m growing some tomatillos for the first time this year and they are COVERED with fruits, I’m so excited!! I absolutely adore the layout of your garden and the different types of raised beds you’ve created. We’re definitely planning on using tractor tires here soon. So far I think I gonna like these Criminal squash, they seem to work better in the raised beds and making plenty of squash for us.

Wow, I'm impressed with the criminal squash! I struggle with squash every year and this may be a better option for me. I plant mine in a pepper cage and try to keep it off the ground.
I really liking the Criminal's so far.

Once I tried the Green eggs I've grown them every year since.
I know the Old Timey, heirloom, yellow crookneck squash is bumpy and gets more bumps the longer you let the squash mature
It's crazy the only ones I'm getting with bumps are from the same raised bed.
Good morning Mr Eddie. I've never grown either of those squash varieties. We are growing grenade squash (Hoss) and think they'd be good for the grill as they are similar in shape (though actually shaped like a grenade) and probably the same firmness as the green egg squash. I laughed at your joke about using the paint brush for spreading the oil.🤣

This year I'm trying the Hoss Cucumber, Bell Pepper and the Hossinator tomato.
The tomato did good last year so I figured I'd try the pepper and cucumber just to see how they do.
Is it "Smooth Criminal"? I can't seem to find it otherwise. I plan on growing it before too long I think. I'm thinking your bumpy example is due to one of the parents being a bumpy variety. Color looks different too.
I think it did say Smooth on the package.
All my seeds are from the same pack but now-a-days that doesn't mean anything.
Hey yall… I’m making a blackberry cobbler for the guy that are building my high tunnel…. I planted griller squash from hoss and cometa squash from hoss… I’m not sure if they are gonna make it or not… the vine borers are bad here

Good morning neighbor! I missed the video about what mil. Fabric you put down for this season. Which do you recommend?
I didn't change it out this year.
I'm going on 3 years now with out pulling it up but I'm using some that was from a construction job they used under roads.
But the best I used before was the DeWitt Brand
not sure the mil.
The one time I used the cheaper stuff it didn't last one year.
How do you keep the squash bugs off your plants I battle them every year!
When they start getting bad I'll pull the plants. Not much will kill Squash bugs.
