This song crushed my heart. As I listened, I saw a panoramic view of my life. I was taken from my mom when I was 7 years old by the courts of California. I was institutionalized for 10 years. I suffered many horrible things for those 10 years. Then when I was 18 Jesus revealed himself to me and I was saved. Im 70 years old now and have had a blessed life. Jesus helped me graduate from college, gave me two beautiful daughters,and 4 grandsons. Jesus was my mother, and my father, and my brother and my savior. I have lived in the goodness of God. He has been faithful.

I have struggled with wanting to know my "purpose" for years. To the point of getting really frustrated with God because I felt that I was simply existing and not living because I didn't know why God placed me here. I felt the way for 12 years. I knew God existed, but I didn't feel like I was living out my calling. What I just realized in the last 5 months was that I wasn't honoring Him with all I did, I didn't know His commands or followed them, and I didn't walk with Him daily. EVERYTHING changed when I started reading the Bible on a daily basis, during mealtimes. From that, all blessings, obedience, and knowing my calling flowed.

I'm a younger woman just starting out volunteering in the Church and I just wanted to say how much listening to you beautiful women of God has helped me and inspired me. I hope I can be like you all someday with these amazing tesitmonies of God's faith as I try to serve him. It's scary I moved out to a different state away from my parents. They are Catholic and not involved in ministry. I just know God has called me here and this has provided me so much comfort during this isolation season.

The atmosphere is very calm because nothing is moving but nature, and the solace that I often find in the Holy Spirit listening to such wisdom coming. These young ladies are profound for me in the journey that I’m on in my life right now; what I’m trying to say is that I’m grateful to God, and I’m thankful for his servant leaders. I have been putting off watching BT for the last few weeks because I wanted to have an armory built up for my Fasting season. I’m glad I waited! This was so good and for me! I have definitely lived many years worried about missing out on my calling. I have many times in the past sought God’s direction only to have what I believed and prayed for not turn out. I have changed directions so many times! I’m encouraged today knowing that these ladies didn’t have to “plan” their ministry! What a BLESSING!! That takes the pressure off me and is exactly what I needed to hear! The Lord knows how many times I have said whatever your will is for my life I say yes even if it doesn’t look like what I desire I’ll do it I just want to be a small flicker of light in this world that points to you! This is soo very true! I witnessed this myself. God had called me to come to my home land, leave my family behind and travel across the world to take care of family land. But, in reality I didnt have the money to uproot our lives and I didnt want to take my daughter from her father. But suddenly, God made a way for the funds to appear and he also removed my daughters dad. The door was wide open and I walked through it. I did as I was told and He has been transforming me. I also found out that it wasnt about what was on top of the land but a major energy company has been drilling without our permission or knowledge for 12 years now. Would have never known
I struggle with this. I wanted to do missionary work, years ago. The church I went to discouraged me, and always sent the pastors wife and the worship team verses giving others an opportunity. I feel like it was because back then I was a single mom. I had a strong calling, all I got was discouragement so I gave up. I never forgot how that church treated me.
I'm so sorry to hear that. It doesn't matter that you were a single mom, the chuch should have encouraged you. But they are just humans, so try not to look to them altough that is harder than it sounds. I have also been let down by the chuch so I know it hurts but don't worry if you're meant to do missionary work God will open up the doors for you. Don't give up on your dreams, keep dreaming and let God know the things that are on your heart because God have placed them there for a reason, and when the time is right He will open up all the doors for you and your will be amazed! I'll be praying for you!❤🙏

Ms Joyce mentioned putting relationship with God first because we can get proud of ourselves real quick and as I go through seminary trying to navigate my calling I have been convicted of this so so much. It’s become academic then what can I share with others but this year I truly need to prioritize relationship with Him then allow Him to lead me as I put one foot in front of the other. So good 🙌
He will provide whatever you need (i.e. taking care of your children). You will end up where God wants you to be. Don't make yourself miserable. Just love God even if it takes longer. God is doing the doing so it doesn't matter what natural handicap you have. God does it and He does it through us especially if He has called you to it.

This conversation was music to my soul. These ladies spoke so much truth in this meeting. One part that stuck out to me is in 'being used by God' is first by establishing a relationship with Him. And then making yourself available, start where you are at with home and your local community. Then watch God move within you..
I love the share about calling the Light that is beautiful everyone of you dear sisters shared and be willing to be wrong to step into right action. Yes a calling to Him. A deep desire to be in his presence consistently. True your calling will come for you as we stay close to Lord Jesus. You all are very blessed. I loved this conversation thank you from my heart ❤

Ms Joyce mentioned putting relationship with God first because we can get proud of ourselves real quick and as I go through seminary trying to navigate my calling I have been convicted of this so so much. It’s become academic then what can I share with others but this year I truly need to prioritize relationship with Him then allow Him to lead me as I put one foot in front of the other. So good 🙌
He will provide whatever you need (i.e. taking care of your children). You will end up where God wants you to be. Don't make yourself miserable. Just love God even if it takes longer. God is doing the doing so it doesn't matter what natural handicap you have. God does it and He does it through us especially if He has called you to it.
The ultimate goal is God,as we pursue him, we will find our call,all we need is a heart after God... This has made my day

Then....as you surrender your life to Christ, obey His Word, grow in your personal relationship with The Lord.....God will make room for your gifts, open doors, reveal to you very specific things about you, how He created you, what He wants you to do build The Kingdom of God on the earth.
