What a fantastic trip - well done a trip of a life time. We manged to cover all of the Wells in 2005. Water 17 - we managed to walk to the end of that gorge in 2005 before it was closed. It was full of Rock Art & Native Bee hives on the walls (Unlike Derba). It has a pool at the end. BTW We were also able to drive out to the Calvert Hills as a side track with heaps of art work including in a crevas a man on a rock wall sideways full length made into the rocks. At Tobin's Pool 20 minutes walk takes you to a gorge that has explorers graffiti on the walls.
Bloody great video. Lots of good info. Thanks I’m on the CSR next year in my Ranger. Done plenty of deserts etc. After the SA Border run this year and Googs Track, and watching your video, I’m think of sticking 3m tape on the sides. 😂 Really enjoyed the video..no shit music and useful info about water and track condition, camping spots👍 Questions. How many days did you do from Wiluna to Bililuna Fuel stats Also What happened to the 6 wheeler ?
Thank you, I was hoping others would find it helpful. Our run was 18 nights including a down at Durba and the run out to Parnngurr-Karlamilyi for fuel and 2 nights of exploring. I think I'd rather have more downs as it's worth it. The 6 wheeler did a CV boot and returned to Kalgoorlie for repairs and rejoin via Kalawana. I'll come back to you with the fuel stats.
Fuel usage for 2 of the vehicles, both v8 76 series - Wiluna to Parnngurr(Cotton Creek) 133 litres 76 series - Parnngurr to Kunawarritji 100 litres 76 Series - Kunawarritji to Halls Creek 134 litres 200 series - Wiluna to Kunawarritji 221 litres 200 series - Kunawarritji to Halls Creek 217 litres
Mate, this is one of the best videos on CSR, well done. It is also on my bucket list, looking to do the trip next winter; south to north. You mention there aren't many flies, wonder what month did you do the trip?
@@Thy5tev0 Actually it's hardly noticeable and sets the right tone - just some nice quiet mood music. A hell of a lot better than some who basically use their videos to ram their taste in music down everyone's throat.
386 wells I have known. :) Just kidding, I really enjoyed looking at your trip and the detail you went into. Hope I can do the same one day. .
Great video with a lot of information for people trying to plan their trip. Thankyou for sharing.
Thanks Smittyk7810, that was my intention.

We would have loved to get to 17, closed forever they say. Oh and plenty of native bees near Biella Springs which is not far away.

Thanking you very much, we did the trek in June and it wasn't too hot, we did need the fly nets at 20 and a couple of others, but not too bad though.
Good job. Spoilt only by the dreaded music. Cheers.
