In Malaysia, foreign tourists pay full price. While citizens & others such as PR, foreign workers, etc pay with discounted price. Usually for a place which involved government. Such as taxes, funding, land acquire, etc.
Makes sense!
I think its more towards government subsidies rather than discounts. Malaysia government offers many subsidies the most obvious is petrol. Petrol price in Malaysia is less than 50 sen per litre, meaning government is subsidizing more than half of our petrol consumption. Just for the sake of your understanding but not necessarily on point accurate, the tickets locals buy is paid by the government probably half and the one you bought is not subsidized. Its just an incentive to help the locals. Tourists are still able to enjoy other subsidies tho.
Please name me ONE country in this world where citizens and foreigners (typically overseas tourists) pay exactly the same price for everything.....
@@linustw most developed countries UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and list goes on..regardless locals of foreigners included tourists paying the same price for tourist attractions, but not for medical treatment, etc.
@@nikhassan7713 but the full price of malaysia tourist attractions are still affordable to the western tourists.. Our first class one night hotel accomodation of RM500-700 per night is only USD 106 - 150 per night which is way lower than even third class hotel rates at their country. However, the medical cost at those countries for us tourist hmmmm.....I have a family member who collapsed at heathrow being charged almost 1 mil for her full medical and repatriation costs...thank god she bought insurance and that was covered mostly by the insurer....
Sorry for the pins... We use it for our head scarf or veil. Something we could not find it bcoz too tiny..😊😍😀
Ah that makes sense! I bet they would be hard to find!

The cost in Malaysia is very affordable for a developed country that uses dollars and euros. for us malaysians can't afford it, it's very expensive.
Australia is not a developed country. Its just the same as Malaysia, an industrialising nation.
Accommodation is about rm2000. You have being rip off! Take a grab and it will be cheap like rm10-rm40 per trip depends on where you would to be.
Actually Jalan Alor isnt one of the biggest street food place in Malaysia. Its just a tourist magnet, thats all!
Thanks that’s good to know!
👍👏👏👏❤
Are you still in Malaysia or already in Singapore??
Petrol and cooking oil and basic goods are still cheap because they are. subsidized by the Malaysian Government
How about the bird park?
We went there on a different day, it’ll get its own video!
@@TiaTravelsAround the world's largest free flight aviary
What is Japanese inspired brucnh cafe???
It’s called Mori Kohi
@@TiaTravelsAround I dont know any such establisment in KL
That pin needle I think Malaysia woman pin their hijab if im not mistaken.Probably they forgot about it when they fix up their hijab.😁
Ah that’s interesting, didn’t even think of that! Just glad I didn’t sit on them 😂
The needles u found Its probably left by some muslim lady by accident. Because they do use Those to put their scarf/tudung intact on their head.
Ah yeah that makes sense!
If you are earning oz dollar, nothing is expensive in malaysia.
Imagine you pay rm109 (aud35) for a pack of 25 sticks cigarettes.
Yeah going up the twin towers and kl tower are pricey even for locals. Not worth it.
Going up to the link bridge in klcc is a total waste of time. Its only at 44th floor. Many condo and highrises in kl already taller than this height
But kl tower, dun go to observation deck. Just book lunch or dinner at revolving restaurant. You can kill two birds in one stone.
@@linustw but food is so so only
Ya tiket nya mahal sangat, Tak masuk akal langsung
RM 5 pun Dah kira ok lah untuk Orang Malaysia
The needles probably belongs to hijab women forgetful during some adjustments on the hijab looks..sorry for that😀
Thanks for the insight!
Cucuk merata pastu lupa hahaha
you paid normal price for tourists. and half price for local to promote domestic tourism. but foreigners keep coming non-stop.
That’s what I figured, good to know. I think it’s a great idea 💡
