They had a 20 year run...... unusual . 29 hits with 5th dimemsion , 5 hits with Billy and 1 solo hit 1983. Solid Gold 1981 to 1988 . 1965-1988, Think about one hit wonders and acts that did not make it out of a decade. 20 years is uncommon.
I wonder why the 5th Dimension isn't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I love their story. They’ve been married now fir 51 years! Everyone can learn from their story based largely on their faith in Him.

(young kids don't know what they are)was Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In. I played it so much my Mom hid,but eventually brought it out . I still have it to this day. ✝️🙏🇨🇦A forever fan from Canada. 10/5/21: I just love them. Saw them recently at the Ridgefield Playhouse in CT, and they were fabulous!! Strong beautiful voices, didn't miss a beat. They sang my fav Stone Soul Picnic. I'm very blessed to have seen them live.
I met billy and Marilyn on a royal Caribbean cruise when I was about 15. I was already a fan and after their performance they did a meet and greet. I got to tell them that my mom born in 1950 was a big fan and got me hooked on them and I wish I would’ve gotten an autograph

Wow, the interview got cut off just as it was getting good! I had the privilege of hanging out with Marilyn & Billy in the spring of 1997 at an event at Norfolk State University sponsored by Tim & Daphne Reid with my then girlfriend Felina who lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They were such cool and gracious people and particularly Marilyn when asking me twice how to properly pronounce my first name, I will never forget how down to earth and wonderful they were to us who were total strangers to them.
I absolutely love this couple.
